Yes, it's super easy and cheap to start a new business, and that doesn't even consider that you're competing with an established entity that hired somebody as qualified as you - so you wouldn't even have a leadership advantage. Most people don't care about a company's leadership. They just care about pricing, convenience, and occasionally quality. Those aren't things you can compete with an established company on.

Except that qualified women are often passed over for high level positions, much like racial minorities are. If there are two qualified candidates, and one is nonwhite or female, they're much less likely to get the job than their white male counterparts.

"Hey, if you believe what you said in your argument, then you're pretty fucked up" isn't slander. Hell, "That's quite skanky" is closer to slander than that.

Because if they really were focused on who was most affected by police murder, they would say "Black MEN matter". No, they would say "Black Trans Lives Matter". Or "Impoverished black lives matter". Or "Mentally ill black lives matter". Or, yanno, not fragmentize an issue that affects whole communities of people - most often black communities. I just love that you acknowledge that police murder is a problem for all races - but you use that to minimize an "othered" group rather than advocate chan…

I literally would. However, that would be this sub's position, so to encourage critical thinking I'd offer that maybe she's a supportive parent who's just being denied access to her child.

personally i like to give people the ben of doubt. You say that, while in the same breath assuming that the mother is a wicked person. Clearly you like to give men the benefit of the doubt.

Shame we can't see both sides. Could be that the dad is obsessive and dangerously sociopathic. Could be that a mother is keeping her kid from a caring father. But this tweet shows and proves nothing.

COME AND SEE THE SEXISM INHERENT IN THE SYSTEM No but seriously the proportional damage thing is one of the most sexist things I've ever heard of. It's saying that a woman will never be able to be stronger than the weakest man.

I bend you over and fuck you in the ass. I'm a rapist now, just for typing that out on the internet. Absolutely batshit ridiculous.

A bit of politeness beyond just saying a vague "excuse me" would be nice common courtesy.

That fucking manspreading article she linked... Ugh. Fucking ugh. Maybe if you would do something more than just say excuse me, and actually articulate that you want to sit next to the man who is sitting comfortably, he would give you the room you need. Instead you throw your bony ass at his leg with intent to hurt him. Fuck you, lady.

He/she/it (sorry don't know your pronouns triggerkin) is a box that identifies as a trigger. Therefore he/she/it is a trigger.

Where noun–pronoun disagreement can be avoided, avoid it. Where it can't be avoided, resort to it cautiously because some people will doubt your literacy ~Garner's Modern American Usage The singular they. A singular antecedent requires a singular referent pronoun. Because he is no longer accepted as a generic pronoun referring to a person of either sex, it has become common in speech and in informal writing to substitute the third-person plural pronouns they, them, their, andthemselves, and the …

"They" is 100% grammatically incorrect. "They" refers to two or more people.

Men automatically consent to potential parenthood when they have sex True. while women do not. There's where you're wrong. The act of consensual sex is a consent to parenthood for both parties in a responsible relationship. However, we have options now, where we can change our minds, so to speak. Also, regarding a woman getting an abortion without the man's input, I think she can do that, but in a responsible relationship, it should be a decision that is discussed and thought through by both aff…
