I dont think Anita Sarkeesian is recieving threats due to her being a woman, but because her videos are utter bs. Her usage of the "Damsel in Distress" trope makes it sound like wanting to save a loved one is misogynistic and using cut out images and videos from games completely out of context isnt good journalism as well.
