Even feminist dont agree on the "dressing skimpy is empowering" thing. Some feminists believe that it is empowering for a woman to dress like thatbecause she is using her free will to dress the way she wants to. Other feminists believe you are scum because you allow men to look at your body which is a form of supporting the patriarchy I guess. That is an issue wether you see women as human beings with an agenda of there own or as representives of a social class who need to behave in a way to hel…

The first time I heard bullshit from a feminists mouth was when I asked a female teacher of mine If she thought, that it was okay for our government(germany) to only hire the man for certain jobs, If there isnt a equally qualified woman applying. Of course she said that was the right way to do it. After that I started to dislike feminist, but not feminism in general. I thought everyone should have rights and that women dont have it worse than men in western europe. I am still an egalitarian by h…

Apparently, feminism has run out of real oppression to fight. Otherwise, they would be doing this

I had the same issue with the title of their AMA. I think they hoped to spark a discussion about women in male dominated fields, which of course happened. When people notice that and ask the honest question why they think their gender matters, they react the way you would expect them to react. By saying its harder for them to archieve something in their field because of sexism. Also I feel the same about declaring any critique you recieve, especially on the internet, is related to your gender, r…

Well, here is a foreigner talking about gender situation in germany. who apparently thinks the deepest rural area is representive of the whole county. The area where this person most likely was is rural bavaria. Saying that bavaria represents all of germany is like saying rural Texas represents the whole US

Finally someone who realizes that by getting upset about something like this, we are descending on feminist levels of creating needless drama

I dont understand why ? Atheism, gaming, even the damned brony fandom. Why do they have to do this ? They can be as batshit crazy as they want to in their own spaces, but that isnt enough for them. A bit dramatic maybe, but is there anything they dont try to poison ?

Stopped reading at power and privilege. It seems like a new challenge in feminist writing to put as many buzzwords as possible in the first few sentences.

I dont think Anita Sarkeesian is recieving threats due to her being a woman, but because her videos are utter bs. Her usage of the "Damsel in Distress" trope makes it sound like wanting to save a loved one is misogynistic and using cut out images and videos from games completely out of context isnt good journalism as well. Her whole videos, for which she got aprox. 30.000 Dollars each, are nothing more than stating bad arguments to prove a point she made up and ignoring everything that doesnt fi…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
