Someone constantly trying to change you over mundane shit and then arguing when you don't "obey" is a red flag dude. At least for a prolonged, serious relationship. You could argue it's a power play/shit test to see if she can get you to comply as well, but I'd go with the former.

Good to hear that. Just make sure you save anything they send you. Have a digital paper trail so you can cover yourself if they try to pull anything. Good luck!

File a police report and get a restraining order. This bitch is crazy. Kinda sad that she's sending dudes after you to harass you. I say file a police report because going through your University would be a joke. At this point they're harassing and threatening your physical safety, whether or not they actually do something that's not acceptable for anyone to be doing to you, especially in a university setting. The report might force the university to take action against those guys and her.

The solution is knowing who is lyng Wrong. The solution is not shitting where you eat. IE don't fuck women you work with.

I can't find that information anywhere, care to site your source? I'd love to read it for the sake of hearing the other side of the story.

Considering that's what contributed to the bogus 1 in 5 statistic that gets trumpeted by feminists, I'd say your wrong.

"Normal" is stigmatizing enough. The snowflakes need to feel special, so being normal is insulting to them.

Laugh and say "you're cute when you're mad" then continue on like nothing happened. Act unphased by this random outburst. Edit: on mobile, fixed several words

One thing that I think is important to be aware of is the difference between comfort tests and shit tests. They are not the same, and it sounded like you were interchanging then as if they were. Shit tests can be ignored, although that can't be how you deal with every single one. However, and more importantly, comfort tests should /not/ be ignored if you want your relationship/plate to last. You still need to maintain your strong, stoic frame when addressing comfort tests.

Day 1: Had a bout of insomnia, but managed to fall asleep around midnight and woke up at 6 for work. Total: ~6 hours.

This girl is not a unicorn but with the right tools, she'll do her best to act like one...I don't know if I fully believe it about my situation, but I think it will be funny to say: AWALT. He clearly doesn't think she is different. He recognizes that AWALT, this one just happens to have enough qualities he finds desirable to pursue a LTR. He's gone through the motions of spinning plates so he knows what he's looking for. He's even improved himself to get his shit together. As Rollo says in The R…

Agreed. I've lost weight and gained some muscle, eat healthier , and in addition, my wardrobe has improved considerably. I also don't let people walk all over me anymore. My mother's response: "stop working out so much and dressing differently, you're losing too much weight and it's not you."

Like they'd even listen though; You should try dropping little tidbits of RP truths first to see if they're receptive, otherwise you just wasted a business card and probably alienated yourself from that person.

The good thing about this situation is that you know where you messed up, and you have a plan to get back out there and move on and improve. You got this man.

Ah, I see what you mean now that you point that out. I suspect that a lot of that is from the newer members still unplugging.

Oh look, a sub has completely missed the mark of one of GLO's posts, AGAIN; what a shocker /s One of GLO's writing components is to include humor in his writing, and for those not in our community, it often times get taken the wrong way (oh gawd muh feelings™), most often times on the extreme side. Most importantly, why should we care? Not giving a shit about what other's think of you is one of the mantra's around here, because we look inwards for validation, not outwards. We aren't on a crusade…

There's quite a bit of difference between her offering to do something and you not being into it, and her not willing to do something with you that you want to do, that she HAS already done before with previous partners.

Exceptional post. I like how thoroughly you deconstructed her post. Your sub sequent points were well articulated. I'd give you a mars if I could.

You make that sound like a bad thing. If anything, it's an indication that more men are waking up and going "hey, this article kind of makes sense." Hopefully it helps make them curious enough to start looking into it more, and ultimately cause a few more to unplug.

then do this - in your post, explain a few positive things that gaming adds to your life. While I can't-and won't, by any means- attempt to speak for everyone, here's my take on gaming and this topic in general. Preface: For the most part, I completely agree with your post. Extreme addictions to games are hindering to our progress of self improvement. We live vicariously through those characters instead of us actually living. Sadly, I used to be that way. But then I found this community and star…

I'd argue that this is more correct. I stumbled across this sub in April. At first, I just found it interesting because a lot of the tenants aligned with one of my coworker's ideologies and I really enjoyed the conversations we'd have on our lunch breaks. Turns out he was a redpiller and opened the door for me. The first few months I would teter back and forth between the anger and denial phases. It was only 2 months ago where I became overwhelmed in despair that "god damnit, it's not just a bun…

I almost feel like lifting gets ignored by the newer members, in addition to the other sidebar stuff. We need a giant neon sign that says "New Here? Start Lifting Weights, and READ THE SIDEBAR" at the top of the front page.

Well the bf/gf bit usually helps establish if they have a sense of humor and gets a response from them. Most know you're joking and will go along with it (because people don't use tinder for True Love™), and this is one of the few corny lines that does marginally better than a simple "hey." I don't want a relationship at this point in my life; university, school, lifting, work, and music production takes up all of my time. I wouldn't mind a plate though. Also she's 22. As for the not sticking yo…

I'm only several months into trp, but you seem to have serious oneitis for your ex. Granted it was an eight year relationship. Be that as it may, your post comes across as if your happiness is entirely contingent upon being with her. This makes you sound super needy. I'm not sure you -should- get back with your ex. I think it might be more worth your while to work on yourself first, and then maybe plate her for awhile to see if her behavior with you changes in response to your personal changes. …

The Legend is back. Because all her life, the only ting that was expected of her was for her to bring her vagina. Diamonds are a girls best friend (because women are incapable of real friendship). Truer words have never been said.

Thanks for replying. You're right, they uploaded in reverse. Weird. I'm inclined to think you didn't AA enough. She seemed to interpret it as you agreeing with her. Either that, or AA just doesn't translate well over text. I think it might be a bit of both now that you mention it and I look back on it.

First off, thanks for replying. I recognized it as a shit test and that's why I tried a&a at first. But when she persisted with it I was unsure of how to take it. Ignoring and waiting to see if she reinitiates seems pretty solid. Like you said, if she doesn't it's no real loss. Thanks again.

I swear im not trolling when I ask this. That said: I've been lurking this sub for a while. I'm ingesting the sidebar material, I'm lifting and bettering myself. The one thing I don't understand is the apparent hatred many users have for gaming, anime, comics and sci-fy. I understand if it's all you do, 24/7. But if its a hobby, done in moderation when you're done handling your shit, is it really that bad?

That is most unfortunate. I was reading this on my commute this morning and thought this was a different sub (I didn't notice which sub I was in) where trolling isn't allowed, period. My appologies. One would think that for this board and the ideology it stands for to be taken more seriously, trolling would also not be allowed under any circumstances. I digress.

This isn't 4chan. This community holds itself to a higher standard than that garbage. We'd actually ban anyone that behaved in that manner, as trolling isn't allowed.

Agreed. It's cringe worthy. I can't fathom how anyone that's an alleged hardcore metalhead can be so blue that he's in the ultraviolet spectrum, especially since metalheads get a lot of flak from society because they aren't the "norm." To let this get to this point is pathetic.
