So really you hate the economic situation we’re in that makes people resort to sex work. That’s different from not respecting sex workers ☠️
/r/PussyPassDenied22/05/21 09:39 PM

Why?
/r/PussyPassDenied22/05/21 09:31 PM

Why not?

I respect sex workers. Doesn't mean I would date one. (Don’t think I’m agreeing with you, I’m not. If you want to be blatantly misogynistic about sex workers simply bc they are sex workers, downvote me)

So in your view, women are forced to do this...because? What’s your reasoning. In my view women choose to do this bc they either want to or do it to make extra easy money on the side. Not because they are “forced” to by any societal pressure, because they aren’t.
/r/PussyPassDenied05/02/21 05:28 AM

The world demanded that women show their boobs online for money?

It’s cringe all around. But good people don’t cheat. If you cheat, you’re not a good person. No matter your reasoning.

Yes, bc now I know what you’re really arguing. You weren’t arguing against a single father getting some recognition on Mother’s Day. You were arguing against the concept of parent days.
/r/PussyPassDenied18/10/20 05:15 PM

Good. You showed your real position on the issue. You’re against parents days altogether.
/r/PussyPassDenied18/10/20 05:12 PM

Why don’t single parents get their own day that’s equally celebrated? Are you against a single parents day?

The democratic system would have to amend the constitution for the President to not have violated it.
/r/MensRights23/12/19 09:12 AM
1

It’s not a statute. It’s in the Constitution. Article II Section I. The Emoluments Clause; the President cannot profit (gain dirt) on his political enemies by asking a foreign power.
/r/MensRights23/12/19 09:11 AM
0

Are you serious? Are you that blind? You think Trump is exposing corruption? TRUMP IS CORRUPTION. The crimes are sitting right in front of you and you ignore them because Trump projects that he’s somehow an outsider that speaks his mind. The President cannot ask a foreign power to do investigations on his political enemies. We would call that TREASON.
/r/MensRights23/12/19 09:02 AM
0

Yes it is, however asking a foreign nation to do that investigation is ILLEGAL.
/r/MensRights23/12/19 08:57 AM

In what universe are the Dems in the wrong for impeaching the President. Are you a Trump supporter? Because you certainly sound like one.
/r/MensRights23/12/19 08:08 AM
1

What is a more apt punishment? You can’t arrest the President without trying him in the Senate. You can’t remove him from office without trying him in the senate. You can fine him in a lower court maybe, but that’s not really a punishment is it. That’s your anti-impeachment groups problem, you disagree with the process but have no alternative courses of action.
/r/MensRights23/12/19 05:17 AM
1

Well, your argument is that we should undo something that’s already been done because you think it wasn’t worth it. It’s not much of an argument since the point is moot.
/r/MensRights23/12/19 05:09 AM
0

Oh, so you’re just mentally impaired.
/r/MensRights23/12/19 05:05 AM
1

So it is your observation that the actions of President Trump up to this point are not impeachable?
/r/MensRights23/12/19 04:32 AM
1

Impeachment is literally a political process with political motive. Did you pass civics? The Democrats have two candidates that can beat Trump, Warren and Bernie. Bernie beats Trump nationally in the polls already and beats Trump in early states. There are a few polls which show Trump leading Bernie in Iowa, but that’s Iowa and only Iowa.

I watch these news outlets: TYT, Secular Talk, The David Pakman Show, The Majority Report, The Rational National, and the Humanist Report. These are shows I respect. Are you calling these shows propaganda and proclaiming that Jimmy Dore is the only progressive media outlet that has a clue?
/r/MensRights23/12/19 04:09 AM
1

Impeachment has happened exactly twice beforehand. Believing that anyone can predict the movement of the polls on a sample size of 2 impeachment cases before Trump is insane. Jimmy Dore has fallen off his rocker lately.

A case study that’s initial comments recommends a different form of circumcision rather than saying the practice should not be practiced. The paper does not condemn circumcision, therefore it is complacent in the human rights violation that is circumcision and is as guilty as the doctors and nurses that perform the procedure.

This is American politics. Political perception rarely goes beyond smears. But Tulsi voted Present on Trumps impeachment. Tulsi Gabbard does not belong in politics, that’s not a smear, she’s just incompetent.

I never liked Yang. His UBI is an interesting and important part of the future of the country and the economy, but beyond that Yang doesn’t have the record, the policies, or the passion to be President.

BS. You can’t expect someone to walk into a fire and potentially risk their life to potentially save someone else’s. We have people trained to do that very thing so we don’t have to.

Personally can’t stand the idea of urinals. You can never shake off 100% of your pee and I see no reason to pee next to someone when I could not. I always use stalls and I always use a square or two too get the last drops of pee.

I suppose I would in order to pass judgment. My point still stands though. If someone explains a policy or bill to you and you don’t acknowledge the key nuances and points being made, that conversation will quickly devolve into name calling and harassment.

Being a centrist in the US is essentially being a Republican. The Overton Window in corporate media/politics is extremely biased towards the right compared to the rest of the developed world. Regardless, don’t pay attention to political orientation, pay attention to policies. I’m for Medicare for all, tuition free public college, comprehensive gun reform, and transitioning to renewable energy.

They aren’t utopias, they are successful and booming social democracies. These countries figured out how to make the system work for them, and not just a handful of billionaires. America has started to notice.

Interesting that society hasn’t crumbled in every developed country that has a high estate tax, public colleges, and single payer healthcare. Guess those countries have a different definition of theft because in return they get services. I think they call it taxes?
/r/MensRights31/08/19 03:32 PM

Bernie doesn't give a rats ass about men and will kowtow to Feminists at every single opportunity. So how exactly to you explain him wanting to raise the minimum wage to a living wage, wanting to make public colleges tuition free, ,wanting to implement a single payer Medicare for all system, and demanding paid medical leave by law? All of these things benefit every single American, including men.

What a lot of people get wrong about the concept of “equality” is that, at least from any active US politician, nobody wants equality. They want equal opportunity. That means that everyone has an equal shot at making it. An example of how our system does not do facilitate this is that by not having an estate tax (or having a very low one) it gives kids of rich parents an unfair advantage. They didn’t work for their wealth, it was just handed to them.
/r/MensRights31/08/19 06:58 AM

Pretty sure Bernie ticks off most, if not all, of those boxes. Seeing some people down in the comments who are a bit confused and lack sources for the things that are causing their confusion.

"White people don't know what it's like to be poor", “Wage Gap”, “"Tax Men to give entitlements to women" Where did he say these things and what did he specially say? Especially that last one. Where has Bernie laid out a policy proposal in which he would specifically tax men to give entitlements to women? That would be, uhh, illegal 🤪

/r/MensRights13/07/19 04:51 PM

I want companies to pay the tax rate that they owe. Not to comb through legalities and loopholes to say they actually owe less. Amazon paid $0 in federal taxes. You’re going to sit here and tell me that’s ok?
/r/MensRights13/07/19 04:31 PM

Yes. If you comb through the tax code looking to pay the minimum amount, you are dodging taxes. Yes, I want corporations and billionaires to pay more in taxes. I’m not ashamed of that.
/r/MensRights13/07/19 04:22 PM

Those people are responsible for shaping the corporate policies their business and firms follow. They are the ones that determine if they are going to doge taxes or pay them. Bernie has made a book and makes median income for a person his age and his position. So you can’t make an argument that suggest that Sanders is in this for the money. The guy flies coach my dude.

https://www.npr.org/2016/02/12/466465333/sanders-favors-a-speculation-tax-on-big-wall-street-firms-what-is-that So while yes, there appear to be ways that Slimy, Sleazy, Corporate Welfare queens (aka CEOs and financial advisors) plan to get around it, those loopholes can be closed and these people can start paying their fair share in taxes.
/r/MensRights13/07/19 04:05 PM

And I imagine that you invest and you think your low volume trading would be thrown into this tax and that’s why you oppose it. News flash, the majority of America doesn’t care and they want to see the economy start working for them and not just the elite few.
/r/MensRights13/07/19 03:48 PM

The Average investor is handedly not middle class, they are upper middle class at least. Even if they were, I think you vastly over estimate how much trading those people are actually doing. The average investor wouldn’t be affected by a speculative tax on Wall Street regardless. Large firms and corporations would be. The Middle class is broke. The people in poverty are broke. The only way to fix this economy is to bring the wealth from the top back down to where it needs to be, the middle. A sp…

There really isn’t anything to canceling student loan debt. Place a tax on speculative wall street trading and pay off the loans. It’s not magic.

You mentioned the issue is that people cannot afford houses or cars. Why doesn't the government just mandate the price of cars and houses? Make houses cost $10k and then everyone can afford it. Are you retarded? Have you ever taken an economics course? You’ve completely lost focused of the topic. The government already mandates and pays for public schools, we can do the same thing for colleges. It’s not a crazy idea and every developed country on earth does the same thing. If your only argument against student loan forgiveness is that you’re salty that you already paid off your loans....then I’m sorry, but you can go take a hike because I honestly don’t give a shit.

The government gets to mandate the prices of the public University tuition to a level they see fit. The University wouldn’t get to do shit about it. Yes it’s government, but it’s far less than what you suggest as a “solution”
/r/MensRights13/07/19 06:28 AM
7

Or you know, we could eliminate private university tuition altogether and eliminate student load debt pay placing a tax on Wall Street speculation 🙄 That’s a solution that actually involves less government than what you suggest.

The cost of higher education has artificially ballooned over the last few decades. Students need to take out loans just to go to school so they can get a chance at getting a job that will pay them a living wage. Students that graduate and that do not immediately get hired fall into a regressive loop where they can’t pay back their loans and the interest accumulates so much that they are never able to actually pay them back even if they get a decent job. If they can’t pay back the loans they can’…

Because they are the fucking future of the country? Our entire economy is based on debt. The wealth of the whole country is a fucking lie.
/r/MensRights13/07/19 05:57 AM

So you do not recognize why students graduating with large amounts of debt is detrimental to the economy?
/r/MensRights13/07/19 05:51 AM

College debt it an economical disaster that needs to be canceled so once all these students graduate they can afford homes, pay for their cars, and move away from an economy that is propped up on consumer debt.

Yep. Nobody is holding women back from entering STEM fields but themselves. They think it's a boys only club so they don't try to get into the field. It's a self fulfilling prophecy. In reality men welcome women into the field and some of the best people in the field are actually women!
/r/MensRights13/07/19 04:07 AM
32

Well yeah. I thought that was implied. Maybe I should have specified infant circumcision. I don't care what you choose to do with your body as an adult, but you can't do that to someone who cannot consent.
/r/MensRights13/07/19 03:50 AM
71

If you even vaguely subscribe to the idea of Mens Rights, you cannot support infant circumcision.
/r/MensRights13/07/19 03:43 AM
13

Duh. Men are more likely to seek out high end and higher end corporate positions which will bring the average pay for men up. This means that the women are doing lower level positions and should be making less money as a result. The wage gap doesn’t exist like you think it does. Men get paid more because they do harder work and seek out management positions.

Issues arise when one parent wants it done, and the other does not. That is completely unrelated to what I have said so far. I said that Hospitals have been documented trying to circumcise babies without asking the parents. Here is just one example: https://youtu.be/JIuhK8nxY60 You really can't rationalize this stuff.
/r/MensRights06/07/19 05:11 AM
5

Any reasonable person would not expect soon to be parents to sit down and read extensive legal documents. Sneaking in circumcision consent form before the baby is even born is pretty fucked up and immoral.
/r/MensRights06/07/19 05:04 AM
5

Yep. Doctors and nurses are crazy corrupt about this shit.
/r/MensRights06/07/19 12:03 AM
8

No, though a lot of hospitals (in the Midwest) will circumcise without consent. It’s been documented many times on YouTube.

I’ve consistently reinforced and expanded my position. You on the other hand have been forced to back into a corner and fight for less and less ground. I’m sure your time is very important though.

You quit because you have no argument.
/r/MensRights28/06/19 08:23 AM

Yes. The hospital attempted to forcibly circumcise their child 4 separate times. The father appears to have had to actively prevent the nurses from taking their child.

Circumcision
/r/MensRights28/06/19 08:06 AM

The practice was literally started thousands ago in various religions Taken out of context yes. But the roots of circumcision in America (the only developed nation which still practices circumcision routinely) were to repress sexuality during the Victorian era. You cannot deny that. The whole argument used by you and others against the for-profit medical industry never takes into account that they make much less money from preventative treatments. They make much more keeping you in a hospital fo…

I highly doubt anyone would go out & decide to be circumcised when they have see their dick like it is for at least 18 years of living I wonder why? Now what makes you think that a parent has the right to inflict on an infant that which they wouldn’t do to themselves? Your hypocrisy is blatant and the worst part is you are openly a hypocrite and you embrace it.
/r/MensRights28/06/19 07:52 AM

Those “benefits” have become a sort of “flavor of the decade.” Circumcision has been called a cure or treatment for many things. None of which have been true. The whole practice was started in the US to stop masturbation. Nothing else. Since then, the private -for profit- medical industry in the US and abroad has been trying to justify it for decades so they can keep getting insurance payments. Cancer is the result of DNA that could not repair itself, appendicitis is the result of bad diet, Wisd…

Intact men don’t need to defend the natural state of the body.

Yes. Most people are against circumcision. The majority of men are not circumcised also.

Let’s just not watch Star Trek together. We clearly are not on the same page on that front.
/r/MensRights30/05/19 04:36 AM

And I don’t care. I didn’t say conservatives hated Star Trek, I said that conservatives that watch Star Trek and enjoy it have clearly missed the point of the show.
/r/MensRights30/05/19 04:31 AM

I am not. Star Trek is an inherently progressive and left leaning show/franchise. Neither conservatism or the religious right are compatible with the premise of the show and its universe

Go watch Steve Shives

I have no frame of reference to judge the creator of the comic. I choose to judge this specific comic on its own merit and I agree with it.
/r/MensRights30/05/19 02:29 AM

I find it interesting that anyone who even slightly follows the idea of “mens rights,” (like myself) could support circumcision. It’s like right-wingers that watch and love Star Trek. Somewhere along the line, you didn’t get the memo that those two things are ideologically incompatible.
/r/MensRights30/05/19 02:27 AM

Hardly any countries circumcise in any mass number. The US, S. Korea, Africa, and China mostly. Oh and basically all the Middle East. But the vast majority of men are not circumcised just like the vast majority of women are not circumcised.
/r/MensRights30/05/19 02:23 AM

It’s very much not “good for the dick.” It’s literally one of the worst things you can do to it.
/r/MensRights30/05/19 02:21 AM

The question you should be asking is what is ok with circumcision. The answer is nothing.
/r/MensRights30/05/19 02:20 AM

Nah see because that’s not what she said. She said no proof should be required to believe a rape victim.

It’s possible. Victorian sex culture was certainly the right environment for female circumcision to have become popular though.
/r/MensRights08/04/19 02:10 AM
1

As far as I’m aware, it didn’t catch on because his method for female circumcision wasn’t surgical like it was for male circumcision. We very easily could have developed into a society which circumcises both genders.

Religion is far too common and intertwined with law.

/r/MensRights08/04/19 01:08 AM

/r/MensRights08/04/19 12:59 AM

Denmark and Sweden have banned male genital mutilation.
/r/MensRights08/04/19 12:33 AM
4

And what misinformation are you referring to specifically? It is a fact that the foreskin is one of the most sensitive parts of the penis It’s a fact that circumcision is a complex procedure that can cause permanent damage It’s a fact that circumcision has been falsely credited with benefits over the last few hundred years.
/r/MensRights08/04/19 12:31 AM
7

So exactly how is it not mutilation? What counts as mutilation to you?
/r/MensRights08/04/19 12:28 AM
7

That’s highly illegal....
/r/MensRights08/04/19 12:26 AM
4

It’s probably not. Circumcision has a lot of complications, many of which are never officially reported because there are no laws regulating circumcision in this way.
/r/MensRights08/04/19 12:25 AM
3

So are you equating circumcision to a vaccine? You do realize that that is complete BS right?
/r/MensRights08/04/19 12:23 AM
9

Yes. This sub is against circumcision. Men’s right are human rights and no human has the right to unnecessarily remove parts of genitals of another human.
/r/MensRights08/04/19 12:20 AM
6

So being dead is better than having a normal penis? Apparently being stupid is better than being smart too.
/r/MensRights06/04/19 02:29 AM

Thing is, Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice. Circumcision is from the Old Testament.
