| 1 | Why is it considered wrong to commit female circumcision, to the point of it being illegal in many US states, yet the practice of male circumcision is still widely practiced and hardly a peep about it?Yes but many of the circumcisions aren't done to women by professionals. I am not talking about the US. Are you really trying to say that women circumcision isn't that bad or that more women don't suffer the consequences of circumcision than men? Cant we just agree that unconsenting circumcision is always immoral and brutal way to treat someone? | /r/MensRights | 09/04/21 09:36 PM |
| 1 | Why is it considered wrong to commit female circumcision, to the point of it being illegal in many US states, yet the practice of male circumcision is still widely practiced and hardly a peep about it?I guess I should have added "more often" for clarity. I do not mean to compere ones suffer with anothers but it's clear that women siffer more often pain after circumcision than most circumcised men and therefore I understand why many object mainly womens circumcision. To clarify I object both deeply. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/21 08:10 PM |

Such methods does not exist for men if I'm correct. And outside US some are disgustingly common. I do not wish this convo to be about WHO but that particular artcile has truth to it, simple google would prove that to you. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/21 07:39 PM |

But then again, it's not competition. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/21 06:19 PM |

If you need source: https://www.who.int/teams/sexual-and-reproductive-health-and-research/areas-of-work/female-genital-mutilation/health-risks-of-female-genital-mutilation I didnt comment anything about why people defend this, I think its irrelevant for this conversation because the reason are mainly based on traditional reasons and that doesn't have necesserily anything to do w… | /r/MensRights | 09/04/21 06:08 PM |
| 6 | Why is it considered wrong to commit female circumcision, to the point of it being illegal in many US states, yet the practice of male circumcision is still widely practiced and hardly a peep about it?Womens circumcision causes almost always pain for lifetime and makes sex painful for many or even most women. Men's circumsation causes long term pain mainly when botched. I think the orginal decission to ban women circumscision has little to do with their right to choose, sadly. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/21 09:52 AM |
