Trades are fine if you want to settle for middle class. Education is where the big bucks are (still not a guarantee but a damn better shot). Even the foremen at construction gigs have degrees in management often. Those with a bachelor's degree earn almost twice as much as those with some college but no degree (U.S. Department of Labor, 2015). As Ben Shapiro states: jump through the liberals hoops during college and once you graduate use their degree against them.
