The dating scene is boring and overly-transactional. Most people are not worth getting to know at an intimate level, and there are other things in life besides spending all that time and money for an unfulfilling relationship. I think the paradox is that we’ve leveled the playing field for the sexes in many ways but in doing so we’ve cheapened and commodified relationships. It’s all a bit dreary and I get why people, men especially, distance themselves from the whole thing. Focus on bettering yo…

From my point of view gender is mostly codified societal norms, and you can imagine the point of view of the opposite gender with good fidelity. It’s a question of your level of empathy and ability to put yourself in someone’s shoes. Look at it this way, i am a man but what if I chose to become a woman? It’s certainly a mainstream thing that people do isn’t it

Sure, if anything that only reinforces my point doesn’t it. I can imagine if I was a girl, and I loved getting laid, just the sheer quantity of available partners for me would be mind boggling. Like take your pick whether you like stammering nerds or athletic smooth talking bros... the penises are out there and available to you.

Women like to play coy as if they don’t love sex just as much or even more than guys do. And sleep around, it’s perfectly normal

Opposite attract you feel me? We can be opposite but then we are opposite of our opposites because there is a double-switch. Yes I am saying the stereotype of “fuckboyitis” is applicable to women. And the stereotype of being the mature partner who isn’t so immediate about sexuality is applicable to men. Actually we are all driven by our biological wiring to pass on our genes, it’s sex sex sex everywhere, it’s a question of individual personality how much you disengage from it.

Kind of funny you bring up Brad Pitt, did you hear about how Lena Dunham felt him up and showed him her pussy on the set of once upon a time in Hollywood?

Haha if anything it’s the opposite. Women go for quantity and they are hornier than men, guys are looking for that perfect girl

A good man will sacrifice everything for his family too. It’s what women don’t get, they think because there are asshole “ladykillers” and “PUA”s running around that that’s how the male psychology must work. In fact that might say something about what they are attracted to... speaking as a man I would give everything up for the right person do you know what that means? You and your wife dedicate yourself to building something really good , it’s actually the simplest way to live, it gets treated …

Isn’t that life though? Making sacrifices and trying to build something good as a result? You can say it was “written by men” but if a man and woman can agree on certain goals it’s different. Also this makes more sense when a single income could provide for a whole family and woman did not have to work a full career the same as her husband

I read in a book somewhere that woman’s capacity for self-sacrifice is greater than man’s. To submit yourself to something is to put your highest value on that thing. Far be it from me to understand female psychology though
