so much this. had a friend tell me she wished i could be more like this manipulative dude who kept stringing her along. like... no? maybe the problem isnt that good people are boring, maybe its that we normalize toxic behavior as "confidence." idk, id rather stay single than become someone i hate

yeah i get being frustrated with dating apps and all that. but wishing you could manipulate someone like this is kinda messed up though. maybe focus on finding someone who actually wants to be with you instead of envying toxic situations

had same thing happen after moving too fast physically. learned these helped: giving actual space (not texting for few days) focusing on emotional connection next time let them set the pace going forward patience is brutal but sounds like you handled it right

next time just follow her lead on physical stuff. she told you what she was comfortable with and you respected it which is good. the pullback probably means she felt rushed, not that you should have pushed further. give her space and see if she reaches out

oh man this hits hard. still struggle with reading those signals and always assume politeness over interest. the ambiguity is the worst part honestly. gets a bit easier with practice but yeah, naturally social people dont get how paralyzing this can be

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
