I respect your search for answers, but those questions are too specific to the individual. Yes, some tolerate it. Yes, some seek it out. And yes, some men are desperate enough for sex that the act alone makes other things worth it, while some others may become exhausted by their incompetent partner and break it off.

My best friend is a genuinely good, helpful person who has ended up in a relationship with a woman who needs to be coached and hand-held through life. I truly do not think he sought out that quality in her. His last LTR was very competent and driven. His new gf is someone he met and gets along with well enough, but is a total spoiled princess. She will not do anything by herself, not even going to the store. She will make him go with her. She will not help with any chores such as doing dishes or…

Please re read his comments, he said it pretty clearly. In his opinion, just having sex is enough for some men to “tolerate” her being younger and inexperienced in the other aspects of life.

Yes? And not just from a hedonistic perspective. They’re the lifegivers.

Hi OP, I’m in the same situation. The facts are we dated for 2 years and she was cute but overweight, I tried to help her lose weight the entire time and she wouldn’t listen to my advice. We broke up after fighting about it recently. Now she’s begging for me back, saying I’m her best friend (sadly I know that’s a bad sign) and she misses me so much etc and wants to change. Obviously I don’t expect her to suddenly improve herself, but to be blunt I’ll take the company and sex for now. The thing i…

Wondering the same thing here myself. Broke up with my GF. Realized I’m not even close to where I want to be in life, but still downloaded all the dating apps. Realized how much effort gets absorbed by that bottomless pit, and deleted the app. Now finessed a FWB situation with my ex but she’s not the type of girl I’d want to pursue anymore. So my personal advice would be to focus on the grind unless you find a low-effort situation/plate that won’t distract you too much.

I actually know what you mean. My LTR has waves of depression and anxiety, and while I care about her, it really negatively affects our relationship sometimes. My gf is also overweight. Says trying to lose weight gives her anxiety. I’m on the verge of ending things. Your situation honestly sounds better than mine if she’s actually attractive and a high earner.

Great post. Wow. I like the triangle way of thinking. And...personal anecdote: recently got into an argument with my long term girlfriend about her weight. She’s gotten comfortable and fat. She tried to pull the “my body my choice, don’t be a bigot” card on me. She said I don’t know what it’s like to be told I’m not good enough. I was amazed not only at the entitled arrogance, but at the complete naivety. She’s coasted along and never thought about how cutthroat the dating world is for men.

What would you say about a girl who refuses to let you cum in her mouth? She’s a great girl but claims she has a bad gag reflex and will get sick if she tries. She’s Tried a few times and didn’t like it. I just know there’s so many girls who will do it tho..

Sounds like she may be a good test subject to try some TRP theories on (such as when you used the "AGREE and amplify" tactic when she told you she'd talk to other guys on the phone) but I'd not waste too much energy on her. She sounds manipulative.

Even better: my girl grew up pretty sheltered, and is interested in opening our relationship up to additional girls. Girls only.

check out jordan peterson's Bible lecture series. He looks at it from purely a clinical psychologist's perspective, and spends a good amount of time digging into the human realities that are brought to the surface in stories like Cain/Abel and the flood.

You're exactly right....check this out: https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2017/12/star-wars-last-jedi-laura-dern-admiral-holdo-listen-to-women#intcid=dt-recirc-cral1_1 They're fueled by hate. That whole article explicitly brags about how white men get shit on during the entire movie (Luke is special but still gets screwed) and then they gush about how all these powerful women and female POC get put in the movie....just for the sake of being in it? Rose sucked. The article then goes on about h…
