Oh, well then. I'll stick by my last paragraph, though. Understand that (perhaps unfairly), women's-rights subs are naturally defensive. It's possible to ask questions and bring opposing viewpoints there (though remember that opposing viewpoints on Reddit almost always come with downvotes; nature of the beast), but they're subject to a significant amount of woman-hating trolls who devolve from "checkmate, feminists" to shit like "all feminists must be purged." In that environment, I can excuse a…

You mean this? The way that's worded has that very self-righteous "checkmate atheists" tone that I'm sure that sub deals with on a daily basis, especially if it was the first post you made there. I think you're just a victim of their anti-troll defenses. I don't think it's controversial to state that the existence of such defenses is warranted, but I could be swayed on whether they're too sensitive.

It's correct to let men and women die at war.

Nah, fuck that. Did you seriously think "abortions used to be more dangerous so they couldn't have been used as tools of oppression" was going to fly? Blocked because I'm done talking to you. Seethe about it.

I hate this dumb fucking women were oppressed from generations they weren’t contraceptives for women and abortions are pretty new Abortions are literally in the bible, 2000 years old. And it hasn't just been contraception. You're just trying to make this shit all about men and it's exhausting.

If you think women "just" had their autonomy removed, I don't know what to tell you. You're pulling the same "woe is me, we're so oppressed" bullshit that Christians pull. You sound like abusers. She proposes a hypothetical scenario to demonstrate the kind of oppression that women have experienced for generations, and you get your panties in such a fucking twist over it. It's called argument ad absurdum, and y'all are too fucking stupid to follow along. The entire point is that it's an absurd co…

You see how mad all y'all are getting at the idea of having your bodies regulated in this way? That's how women feel. That's entirely her point. You're making her point loud and clear.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
