No, I agree with you that cheating isn't justified and likely it does have a lot to do with that person. With that said though, from my experience it's very rare that women cheat on awesome guys who are self-confident, comfortable with where they are in the world, improving in key areas consistently and giving the women what they need. I think it's too much of a pity mentality that "nice guys" who are usually just doing w/e the girl wants 24/7 and letting her rule their lives then want to feel l…

This might sound off-topic but I think some people are in too much of a rush to cast aside concepts and ideas as "wrong", when sometimes they are a necessary stage of development. Obviously you don't keep your training wheels or water wings on forever, but if you don't have them at all at the beginning you might never develop. Don't tell a caterpillar to start flying, he has to chomp leaves for now.

even if, you made some slight mis-steps along the way, that her cheating on you is 100% on her, and it has nothing to do with you. That seems very unlikely. you don't take it personally, you brush it off, you deal with the pain, and you acknowledge it and excise her from your intimate life. you also forgive her and treat her like gold. you treat her like a daughter. you check in, you make sure things are going well for her. break-ups are tough even on cheaters, keep that in mind. you help her mo…

Try to reframe this "mistake" in your mind to simply poor execution of a good idea. You don't want to feel like you wish you'd said nothing, or only said hi. That would be the real failure/mistake. Sure, you kind of fucked up the execution of wanting to be witty/funny and it didn't have the intended outcome. It's still a good thing that you had that intention and tried to make something happen. Now just work on improving your choice of something to say.

Go up to a girl in the quiet/reading area and write on a piece of paper "you know, you look pretty cute when you're focusing", and push it in front of her, while smiling and maintaining eye contact. If she whispers then you have a good excuse to get close, letting her whisper in your ear and you whispering in hers. Otherwise, if she responds by writing you back then you have a cute little game going on which actually helps you avoid the awkwardness of even having to talk to get your point across…

BTW: I'm fully aware it's a little ridiculous to post after one approach, especially with such luck involved, but I wanted to inspire the other guys who might contemplating trying. I know similar posts helped me to set my mind to the task!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
