A world where sexes shift to extracting their primary source of dopamine away from shared mutually generating activities between genders.

This really isn't persuasive, given the growing population bust and happier alone sentiment.

Not really. Like I said, most men's lives didn't change after electing Trump. But as a pastime or sport, it's enjoyable to pursue these things even without any tangible benefit. It's like watching baseball.

Well, any right can be democratically voted through due process.

That's a bit rude. I was polite.

I would say a woman who's happier alone and child free, is never "prosocial" by default. That's an atomistic individual that's already committed to maximum selfishness. And for everyone of those women, you'll automatically generate a corresponding male in reaction. Even if it wasn't their original goal, they adapted to the divergence.

The insidious part about this scientific "success" is that it inadvertently lowers the population rate by providing a less reliable alternative. It encourages false hope through qualitatively worse optionality. It's like a microwave meal with less nutrients but more convenience, except in this case the outcome is pass/fail.

Counter points: - Men do not have 50-80 years if they want children. They're on the same clock as women since it takes two to tango. If a woman hits the wall at 30 and becomes infertile at ~40, then men only have a 10 year window to lock down a woman for having children, which needs to be divided over the number of children. I'll grant that men have a polygamy cheat code, but we're assuming monogamy. - Men have a single metric they can "control", which is financial status. But this is stacked ag…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
