8-10, by my own grandfather too. Took me years for me expose him for the shit he did to me. He thankfully went to jail when I did expose him and he’s dead now. But, I hate that I had to learn so early...

In middle school, these two teen boys who I hardly knew called me tarantula legs. This was before my mom showed me how to shave my legs. Ever since then, I am self conscious about my legs during the summer, when I have to shave them. Honestly never made the connection until reading this... Oof.

I actually have. My grandfather abused me as a kid and as part of an agreement (so I wouldn’t have to continue going to court and seeing him, because I cried every time I saw him and was terrified), he only went to jail for 14 days.
