Slippage I suppose. Recently moving house, changing habits and the acquisition of pets has thrown me off my game. I will set my priority to adding value to my life and reducing that dependency on her. Thanks. And thanks for the chicken bone reference... Made me smile!

I read the post guidelines before posting. This post attempts to offer insight on applications of Red Pill in an LTR by using spiritual support tools. I found Red Pill before finding shamanism, but when I did start meditating and trusting my intuiting things got far better. This post could have been 'how reading Kant has helped my marriage' and it would have been the same kind of thing. You completely misunderstand the purpose of the shaking of the chicken bones. It's not to outsource the decisi…

Thanks for the comment. It turned out to be quite tricky to clearly define it without the word count shooting up, but I understand your confusion. Basic shaman philosophy focuses on the relationship between mind, body and spirit. It holds, amongst other things, that reality is like a dreamworld, that everything is connected, that energy flows where attention goes and that the world is what you think it is. The shamanic practise involves using focused attention and meditation to bring about chang…

Enter spirituality: we're all the same thing - awareness - and someone else doing injustice to me is no more damaging to me than a hurricane blowing my house away. Shit happens, do what you can to protect yourself in the future, but don't compromise your moral integrity by turning your back on the wellbeing of other, less enlightened, individuals. That's what I believe anyway. You can stand and watch as the world burns around you saying 'told you so', or you can let the hate go and remember what…

Are you saying you should stand and let them die, because feminists don't treat you well? If you lived in pre-Greek society, would you sacrifice your life for your wife? If so then you're letting the behaviour of some women turn you against all women. I agree with others here that women's insistence that they don't need our help can make us reluctant to offer it when it's needed, but on a moral level I don't care whether they think they don't want it, I'm doing it anyway. Not because they're som…

It's definitely done in sarcasm, but I'm not trolling TRP, just trying to get feedback on whether it could help convince someone on the fence about it all - e.g. someone like the Blue Pill version of me a few years ago. You might have misunderstood my intent if you read it like that. I'm mocking their mindset of using imagined privilege to rationalise why they are fat, unsuccessful and unattractive, rather than taking responsibility for their own lives.

Thanks for your comment. I suppose that was my intention, in part, when I wrote it - I imagined posting it in some social warrior forum - as I hoped they might read it and start to question their assumptions about privilege without assuming I was bigoted and not hearing it out. Isn't there value in translating into their frame though? To show how ridiculous it is? In a sense, this is an act of trolling, as I am pretending to view the world as they do in order to force them out of their frame and…

Whilst I agree with the RP evaluation of the piece, I am certain that this 'news article' is a PR move, paid for by the website mentioned in the article. This girl seems real (she has Facebook & Instagram profiles with posts older than 6 months), but ask yourself why she suddenly turns up in the newspaper. Did a researcher at the Mirror find her and convince her to do it? Or did the company that employs her tell her to use a synonym and act as their go-to success story? This is a typical PR arti…

You've misunderstood Karma there. It's not meant to be some sort of crutch that soft people use to avoid taking action to improve the state of their life and world; though far too often it is cited by those doing just that. No, we shouldn't let these women continue because we think that karma will get them one day. We should still stand up for our right to call them out and refuse to enable their behaviour. But discounting the idea of Karma because some losers use it to avoid addressing the core…

Well said Sir. Karma then, as per my understanding, happens as a result of ego-driven thought patterns repeating so frequently that bad decisions are made again and again, suffering increases and the universe is made a little shittier in the process. The karmic retribution either comes due to the shutting down of your bullshit through an act of revenge by a party you've wronged, or by the eventual self-destruction of your own life as you frantically grasp for anything that will keep your ego fee…

I totally agree. I also find it ridiculous that on the one hand we're told that gender is societally imprinted on someone when talking about men and women but when talking about trans suddenly it becomes that they were born a particular gender... Make up your mind! Either it's born into you or its not. Same with homosexuals: if someone's gender is entirely down to cultural expectations and environmental triggers than why are they so adamant that sexuality is definitely something you're born with…
