I agree with you.

Doesn’t seem like she was asking for a pass, expecting a pass by default, or otherwise. She handled it well I think. IMO I respect her in this article. I don’t think this applies to this subreddit.

Where do you draw the line then? If someone pledges themself and commits to an oath then violates it deliberately, isn’t that relevant to assess their personal character?

Character and self respect make a big difference in the work place. I think OP had a right to consider what he learned.

I haven’t found that to be the case at all. Be honest and make decisions that are in the best interest to yourself and those you care about. Things tend to work out pretty well despite hardships.

E didn’t make it known to OP but J did. E happens to work for OP. These are separate paths that meet in the middle but just because they meet doesn’t mean one path shouldn’t exist.

A lot of good comments on both points of view. However it seems like most are talking strictly about a female. I think despite the op the issue relates to all people not just straight females. Would we all have the same opinion if it was universal or do we make a sliding scale of judgment based on what gender we are discussing?

I honestly don’t think it’s a an issue of physical quality being lost. I don’t have a concern about someone else’s number of partners, it’s none of my business. If I was looking for someone long term I would take it into consideration though. I know it’s not a certainty but it is leading evidence in someone’s personal trait related to potential for cheating or becoming bored with a sexual partner. New is fun, agreed. New all of the time makes me wonder if a person can’t find interest after the f…

No it’s self defense. Had he continued after she got up then that would have been excessive but he didn’t. Her throwing three punches at his face is a considerable risk to him, technically, considering the possible outcome. Throwing her down to eliminate the threat that kept stepping towards him was acceptable. At least that’s likely what would be decided.

$30 per month is not expensive for some people but considering the median income for minorities is between $34-30k annually you would probably find they would struggle to spend $360 a year after taxes on birth control. Think harder next time. It would save the US tax payer more money by reducing expenses related to unwanted child birth. Each birth costs on average $8800 for hospitals. That’s a lot of expense being dumped on our insurance and medicaid services. Think of all the additional expense…

Considering this is “Pussy” Pass Denied i would consider this post out of place here. The points made are equally important for male or female. Birth control helps prevent abortion, welfare, abandoned children, and many other social problems that plague most states. Day care services allow parents to work, a necessary and beneficial aspect of our economy which helps support our governments mandatory spending. Also helps keep the family self sufficient. Finally, having kids is essential to the gr…

I disagree. Imo a mature relationship can withstand full context sex talk about attraction and lust. If the relationship is so dependent upon the sex then it might be a weak relationship. Just move past it, people want to fuck. Its just human nature. Let her or him talk about good fuckable people and laugh about it, then go home and enjoy each other. We're just transporting dna. Realize that and live on.

Ah yeah, Im sure if I was in a movie I would be a fan too. I had a couple people I know become extras in various hollywood movies and even those movies I appreciated a little more just because. One in particular, the recent Batman v Superman with Affleck, she was an extra in a party scene. It took her 10 hours or something on set. Affleck was beside her the entire time, he was a dick.

Nothing pissed me off about the movie and I didn't notice any gratuitous feminist points (I obviously saw things that would be related to a female powered storyline but that was inherently part of the plot). I was annoyed by Diana's character in that she seemed excessively naive and irrational. I didn't have any relation to her being a female, fyi. Primarily the whole "OH! then he must be Ares and I have to kill him." What rational person could come to that conclusion after literally 20 seconds …
