This is some blue pill shit. Wtf happened to this sub?

The average person sucks because they don't even know themselves as a person. They have at best a vague notion of who they are and what they want in life and just dabble in mediocrity. Even if they find out what they want some day, they easily get distracted by games, tv, porn and Reddit (the latter I'm guilty of myself, obviously) and can't stay on course. Mindfulness helps with all of that so it really is a major key.

Might be anecdotal but I simply don't know any high achieving stoners. Most of them are actually losers and some of them function well but stay mediocre. The only exception to this seem to be popular musicians and maybe artists.

Most people live way below their full potential.

True, but that plateau is still way better than what you had before so it's a big win.

His Meditations are must-read material tbh. Go read that shit.

Or if you want to see the other side of the coin, go to deadbedrooms and read posts from women who haven't been fucked in years. Obsessing over some subreddits looks like typical anger phase time wasting to me.

The last time I've seen this list, I recommended reading "The Compound Effect" in addition to or even instead of "The Slight Edge". The former covers the same strategies but is also way more actionable than the latter. It also makes you look for intrinsic motivation first so you'll be more likely to consistently act upon the advice.

I don't watch TV shows through a red pill lense because I wouldn't enjoy them if I did.

Can we stop with the fake cuck stories? Jesus Christ.

This is true, especially for basement dwellers who sit infront of a screen 12 hours a day and want to turn their life around. When I started lifting ten years ago I couldn't squat because my hamstrings and calfs were too short from sitting all day.

I think there are two valid criticisms of this sub: A lot of guys in the anger phase are showing their anger and not contributing much else. They're not misogynists, they're just angry, but to me it's still basically shitposting. Also a lot of revenge porn going in, it's really cringy at times. The theories in here are often pseudo scientific. While most theories are actually valid and you can read about them in every social science class in uni, they're mostly based on evolutionary psychology w…

I got banned from the relationshits sub because I used the word "branch-swinging". I gave perfectly valid advice and got like 30 upvotes for it. It's almost like they're actively trying to keep people in the blue.

Could be cuck fan fiction, a lot of those come up on Reddit. But it also sounds fairly realistic tbh.

It's basically a fake sense of accomplishment that makes gaming so popular. That's why games like Assassin's Creed have so many menial tasks you can tick and feel good about. The epitome of this game design are all the popular mobile games which are essentially Skinner boxes with extremely shallow to non-existent gameplay mechanics.

I swear this thread gave me testicular cancer. Wtf happened to TRP?

Yes, if practicality is what you want then "The Compound Effect" is definitely worth it. You don't even have to buy the book, here are the resources for free: http://thecompoundeffect.com/resources.php The book guides you through the resources, though, so I'd still recommend reading it.

I'd like to add "The Compound Effect" by Darren Hardy. It is quite similar to "The Slight Edge", but in addition to the general message it also offers a very actionable step by step guide what to actually do to get to your goal. It really helped me with reflecting myself, my life overall and my goals in life.

I come from a culture where living with your parents until you marry is normal. When you marry you move next door or move to a big house/apt and take your parents with you.

Looks like you failed to react properly once she crossed a line. If you let her behave like that without consequences she will only push further and further. That's how women (and even men) are.

While I agree with your sentiment, I feel like in the long run we simply can't compete with AI, no matter what we do. Society will fundamentally change in the next 20 years and we will need to re-assess pretty much everything once AGI is a reality. I'm a bit sad about what happened to Lee Sedol, it just blew my mind how the AI basically crushed the possibly best Go player in the world.

That law is vague as fuck. Let's see how they implement it, I wouldn't panic just yet. Calling a woman fat can be legitimately abusive, for example when you adress her as a "fat piece of shit" all day every day.

Interesting. The leading feminist publisher in Germany is doing the opposite thing. But the people are calling the main editor Alice Schwarzer a nazi now, it's a bit hilarious. On the other side we have leading politicians like Claudia Roth saying that it's not a migrant problem and we shouldn't overgeneralize here. Then she goes on saying that it's actually a problem with all men :D

Women don't feel "safe" and "welcome" in a meritocratic field like STEM. Turns out when only their performance counts and nobody coddles them because they're female, women leave and pursue something intangible like Gender Studies. They expect us to pussify STEM but it isn't happening.

I still have difficulties making decisions when say there are two options and it literally doesn't matter at all to me which one we go with. I tend to just randomly go with one option to seem decisive but if I get asked why exaclty I decided for that option I'm kinda fucked. Advice?

That thread perfectly shows why TRP is hated on Reddit. How deep in the blue must the average Redditor be to actually congratulate a guy on his LTR being a literal whore? This is surreal to me.

I did this for a month last year, lost a couple of pounds and looked better but I didn't feel very good. Lost quite a bit of strength at the gym and my shit was liquid a lot of times. I still think it's good if you want to lose a lot of weight in short time.

If you're not into reading ancient texts (you should read Meditations, but if you really don't want to), read "A Guide To The Good Life" by William Irvine. Changed my life.

I told my LTR I won't marry her. She's fine with it but she's also far from hitting the wall. I wonder how she'll behave 5 years from now...

I agree. LTR was a starfish in the beginning and it was entirely my fault. Don't want to go into details though.

I didn't know TBP existed. I just read through a couple of posts there and even though I didn't expect much, it was actually even worse. The "women have no humor" stereotype (it's a satire sub, right?) gets confirmed once again.

Not sure what I'd do. I would give her space for a couple of days/weeks but pretty soon I would treat her the same way as I did before the rape happened. If she/her family/her therapist still keeps pushing me away I dump her.

I still wonder how they will pull this off. The highest court in Germany (Bundesverfassungsgericht) will definitely not allow this as it goes against the constitution.

My plan is to work my ass off until I'm 50 and then move to Thailand and live like a king until my death. This would work quite well even with an average wage.

The other one is "you're becoming too skinny, I love your belly" if you're trying to lose body fat. No matter what they say, women will prefer a six pack to a dadbod. Don't fall for it.

I just hope that as neuroscience advances (and it's advancing quite fast at the moment) more and more people realize that there are significant differences between men and women. The feminazis will still deny it but neutral people won't take them seriously.

I really think those 'neckbeard virgin' insults are just a result of psychological projection. The average redditor probably isn't that far off the neckbeard virgin spectrum after all. They get 'triggered' (I hate that word) by us when we openly talk about these issues and then start projecting.

It's not harsh for sex, but it can be harsh if you want commitment. But you're right, we really shouldn't give a fuck. Too many people want some kind of revenge porn where the women who rejected them hit the wall and stay miserable until they die. That's not usually how it works and what's more important, you shouldn't fucking care about it. Just work on yourself and you'll be happy.

Look at this natural alpha-doubleplus, trying to prove something to strangers on the internet. I see a banhammer incoming soon. No. 1 tell that you're a troll is that you don't even understand the concept of AWALT. You probably haven't read a single thing on the sidebar.

I honestly don't care what outsiders think about TRP. The less people know about TRP or the more people dismiss it as misogynistic bullshit, the less competition there is for me because more men stay bluepill losers. It's their loss and my win.
