2	Losing Friends (16) I'm mixed race and I get comments a lot about choosing my "white side" and being a "race traitor" for being with my FI (who is white) and how I act/talk, my lifestyle, my hobbies, etc. Which I think is completely ridiculous as I am very proud of both my races and all facets of my ethnicities. People - even those close to you - will find ways to tear you down if you try to make any changes. 3	How do deal with lack of male attention? You need to make yourself look a little older. We have the same problem - when I was your age, people were asking me why I wasn't at my high school today, they always thought I was 15 or 16-years-old.
