I see around me, every day, short men with women. I mean: you can pretend I don’t see that as much as you want bro. It’s not going to make you taller or right
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 03:47 PM
1

Sorry are you mansplaining what I see? I have eyes lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 03:41 PM

I don’t care if a man has money. I’m not marrying some dip to support me. There’s nothing untrue about my initial comment but then I can’t follow clown logic
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 01:51 PM
15

Yeah well I don’t date to marry, I date to get bounced off the walls
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 01:48 PM

I didn’t say homeless. Would You date a homeless woman? Jesus. All I’m saying is that I’ve dated men who still live at home. And some men who work low wage jobs. Get a grip
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 01:44 PM

No. Without the desperation of having to cling to a man for any assistance with my survival, I have so much more freedom. And I love it. It also means I’ll date a man with any amount of money. So it frees shit up.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 01:11 PM
2

No I don’t blame any man or woman for having whatever standards they deem is “high value” as long as they’re not shitheads about it. They can have their fun, but when I have MY fun, I’m honest and transparent about what I want (casual sex, FWB, NSA). As long as everything is above board? That’s the way it should be.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 12:36 PM

Keep them nice and trim. I think if you go to a salon you’ll LOVE a pedicure and manicure. Part of being confident and attractive is to do things for your body that you love and that take care of your body. I’m mostly thinking of just looking “well kept” If a woman sees you’re well kept she won’t think she has to take care of you
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 12:16 PM
2

Why do you assume that? I was bullied. I’ve been rejected MANY times. But I learned from them/ and I became my own person. Now when I’m rejected I’m like, ok thanks for not wasting my time move out of the way
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 10:40 PM
2

Whatever man. You’re talking to someone who was bullied in school, and had to learn to become desirable: shaves their legs, had two nose jobs, gets jabbed with filler and Botox, Color my hair once a month and has spent a fortune on fancy underwear, fancy clothes and diet. I have a multi step skin regime and a dermatologist. I don’t feel sad for men who don’t put in as much work as me. I work fucking hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 06:07 PM
3

Agree to disagree then. Because I don’t think men are incapable of being desirable. Maybe one out of a thousand is irredeemably undesirable. And you keep saying height - like bro: look outside: lots of short men are with women. You might be seeing what you expect to see because you’re insecure. Also I don’t know if you understand that there also (looks around) are SHORT WOMEN out there! Some shorter than you! Everything you’ve said has been resistant to even the idea that desirability is possibl…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 05:51 PM

Lmao at social repercussions. You act like rejection is genocide. Like : get rejected a few times. It’s not that bad. Practice. Move on.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 05:45 PM
3

The initial point that I was addressing was the claim that women just glom on to desirable men because they’re superficial and shallow. My point is: if given the same conditions and men were faced with being expected to date people they’re not attracted to, would that make THEM shallow? And I’m saying; stop thinking about the person who is doing the chasing. If you want to be chased, you will have to work to be both a nice guy AND ALSO desirable. Otherwise the women will look for desirable men w…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 05:38 PM
1

Oh so you want a CERTAIN KIND of woman. Well men that have standards that are too high (maybe you can only attract a 250 pound woman) why aren’t you compromising?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 05:13 PM
1

Because women attempt to be in constant peak physical condition until they die
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 05:12 PM
2

To keep his woman???? I mean dead bedrooms CAN happen because someone gives up trying to be attractive and desirable. Why does that have to stop once he secures a woman ? A lot of women will walk away now because they will not settle for someone doing less than them
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 04:39 PM
1

Because I see short men with women everywhere
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 04:38 PM
-5

By the same token, your perception that your shortness is what is turning off women, though it might make you feel better to blame who is rejecting you, doesn’t make it true. Edited for clarity
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 03:19 PM

That sounds a lot like manifesting a self fulfilling prophesy tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 03:12 PM
3

Can you explain how? In what way?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 01:52 PM
16

I feel almost like you and I are on different planets. Are you suggesting in your first paragraph that kind and faithful men cannot and will not go to the gym and dress well and be faithful ??
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 11:34 AM
4

I don’t consider my partner owned
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 10:49 AM
8

I think women want a man that works at making himself attractive; his desirability to others is ancillary if it exists at all. Typically with love, it doesn’t. But if choosing between a man who goes to the gym and barber, dresses well, looks confident and reliable, and has a great personality, versus someone who just feels like he’s really nice and faithful … they’ll date the former to see if he can also be the latter before dating the latter. Doesn’t that make sense ?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 10:06 AM
7

I don’t know what you think your response proves: that you’re a good guy? You seem to suggest that when you try to date, you behave like one of those “nice guys” we hear so much about, who play at being “nice” expecting that if they put in enough nice coins the sex might pop out like a candy machine, while they refer to women as fat or non-fat (like cream) or cum socks. You want a kind woman? Try saying kind things and being a kind person. We didn’t make this so-called “economy” and we certainly…

I kind of think all men competing with being alone. And most women will take being alone than most men. So it takes a lot to crack through that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 09:04 AM

And you don’t have a nice, non-fat girlfriend? You seem so charming!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 09:03 AM

We didn’t make the market. We just live here.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 09:02 AM

And women who just want casual sex are happy too.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 09:02 AM

Counterpoint: women who want casual sex are shooting as high as they want/can for it. Just like men would.

My god, do you act this way at your job? Try to look at flirting and courting women as a job

Inanna was as least as old as Enki
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/24 01:51 AM

You’re incorrectly interpreting what I’m implying and being pedantic. And you still haven’t said what’s postmodernist about working from a theory from an actual study by Gimbutas and contextualizing her theories and how they relate to the scholarship of others. Women have no barrier to research, historical and archaeological evidence and history themselves. Grow up. I’m not a postmodernist, you turkey. I’m not an archaeologist or a scientist. But I’ve read vetted, published, scholarly works that…

Then why aren’t you sharing pro feminist content?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 12:17 PM
1

What makes me postmodern ? I’m curious to know. I’m a realist. With a Phd in English with a specialty in Encyclopedias and Ordering systems, who reads Archaeological works by women who ARE reconstructing the past based on material evidence. Come at me. I will go toe to toe with you, with receipts.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 12:11 PM
0

No not really. Enki and idols and pictures of enki came after the idols found by Marija Gimbutas. And the cultures she’s re-constructed are thousands of years before the Assyrian gods. You can read actual archaeological works if you’re curious but you’d probably prefer just to sit on the patriarchal history your brethren, their tribes and rules and cults bulldozed over us with
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:45 AM
1

lol 😂 you’re talking in circulars. My logic is patriarchy? 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 11:40 AM

Yeah the exceptions are Marija Gimbuta’s archaeological work. Read some work NOT by the victors and come back

You don’t think the victors of invasion and genocide kept the records of the vanquished do you?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 01:03 AM

Bro history cannot be re-experienced. It’s past: it’s reconstructed and it is a social science
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 11:43 PM

You do know that literally all history is reconstructed right 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 11:30 PM

lol I love the moving goalposts: the same men that say women have worked since the beginning of time will claim that men did all the building of civilization. And yes some Italian universities did, but you know, my Nonna and Nonno had an arranged marriage - arranged between my Nonno and her dad. Not all was free and fun and games.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 11:29 PM
1

lol you act like the victors don’t write history. For people who are interested, start with Marija Gimbutas archaeological text The Goddesses and Gods of Old Europe or Elizabeth Gould Davis’ The First Sex. Hard to reconstruct a history that has been systematically erased

Thing is, Women have periods. Periods are tied to cycles. The moon is tied to cycles Women were the first at connecting the moon with cycles and creating a calendar. The first to grow and yield crops based around calendars was women. They understood the nature of seasonal change because they would have been experiencing in an ongoing and acute way. The first objects of worship were icons of women. Serpents were related to women because of their relationship to renewal and rebirth, as the serpent…

You know, no one can make you desirable but you. I don’t understand why you’re externalizing this locus of control, nor why you’re blaming other people when they don’t even know you. Girls are broken every day. We get broken into high heel shoes. Broken down to feel so ugly that we need makeup and cosmetic surgery. So you’re not alone man. Don’t hate the players hate the game.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 03:26 PM

I also say right from the get-go: “non-monogamy totally is not for everyone and that’s okay! You can change your mind at any time and I won’t feel offended, and until then, feel free to date to find your forever person.”
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 02:24 PM

I don’t date to marry so there’s that. I tell my partners that. 🤷‍♀️

Excellent point.

Yes. I feel like I’m living as a single woman, the way an ethical single man WOULD date. No lies. No coercion. No games. Just good times and good vibes. And men haaaaaaaate that I even have this option. Considering the only reason I have it is the birth-lottery of being born in a country that still allows women to choose their partners and the ability to even STRIVE for equality, I’m very grateful and I don’t take it lightly. IQ tests are a myopic western creation wrought with any other politics that favors the prevailing hegemony
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/24 11:19 AM

You realize that women in the western world were excluded from universities until the late 1800s right? And we’re also perpetually kept pregnant, right? Does that fit into your selective worldview? There are still nations and countries that don’t allow women into school TODAY. (Boko Haram is literally no Books). So there could be other factors in that data you’re not considering
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/24 11:09 AM

You bring up an excellent point: most jobs that are exclusively men are because we are encouraged out of these jobs. We are told to do something else. Pick something different. Has nothing to do with ability which we also have. Why do some people assume women are as lazy and entitled as they are? I think this is projection from some kushy living-at-home toilet warriors who haven’t lifted a heavy load or worked a day in a mine in their lives. Like I’ve got men telling me women can’t sling garbage…

You aren’t a woman. Women do gross things all the time. Do you really think that if all the women disappeared, men would let every elderly person with a personal support worker to bathe and change their diapers (usually women) just die? Of course not. They step in and they pick up the slack. They do what needs to be done.

Well I work In an Aviation MRO and we’ve got women mechanics here 🤷‍♀️ maybe Canada is more equal opportunity than where you hail from. You’re delulu if you think women can’t do men’s jobs. What the heck do you think women did when Men were drafted during WWII? Literally all the men’s jobs 😂 Also you may want to check out the ISWA But anyway: I know how much men want to think they’re special snowflakes but these day and age: women can do your jobs. Probably as well or better tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 04:19 PM

You think if a bunch of men leave the workforce women won’t fill that space? And yah: I do think we are expected to dress and look stupid for men lol. We agree about that.

I’m pretty sure that there are plenty of Becky’s slinging garbage, and if men went away, I’m pretty sure women would care less about their nails and maybe more about doing what they want to do with the money they make working haha Also you’ve never seen a woman truck driver or mechanic with long nails? Sad!
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 03:36 PM

As someone born ugly, and really unattractive until 23 or so, I disagree. It takes work. It takes money. It takes a lot of indoctrination. It takes trips to services like hair salons and nail salons and lash salons and etc etc etc. It might be easy for a small few but you’d be surprised how much work and money goes into “effortless” looking hair and “no makeup” makeup
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 09:26 PM

Men didn’t choose what was hard. They were stronger than women and were able to control and circulate them by virtue of having the incentive to procreate and also the incentive to sex. Did you know before the major abrahamic religions came about, the original gods of worship were women? Inanna is older than any of the male gods. In the past the bio-dad was a sperm donor aand the child’s “social” or “real” father would have been the mother’s brother or someone from the mother’s family. It was tri…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 06:42 PM

The thing is if you’re a woman you can be as busy with dating as you want to be. So you make it what you want. No need to juggle.

I do not believe for one second that you wouldn’t explore your options 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 06:21 PM
1

Is that what you want?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 06:20 PM
1

We aren’t talking about sports my friend. You’re right, nothing is implicitly fair but you also can’t have “free” women who are going to just for the heck of it hook up with “losers” as you call them. That seems fair to the losers but what about the woman? What’s fair in dating for you?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 05:54 PM
1

Unfair to whom????? And what is the answer?? Like you can’t have it both ways: you can’t say women can be free to choose and also that it’s way too unfair who they choose. This is why competition instead of despair is going to help men out. Anyway … you can’t make “equitable” “partner distribution” without forcing some people together because losers are always going to exist. Ideally they’re not entitled to a partner, they should work just like everyone else. And before you say women don’t work …
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 05:06 PM
1

But the son can choose and veto So how do you make partner distribution fair? What happens to the losers? How is this different than now other than instead of men arranging marriages between young women and non-loser men, the women just get to choose their own? According to you: It’s fair when the parents arrange relationships.s But very UNFAIR when women choose their partners?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 04:40 PM
-2

And? I mean that might be the case but then unattractive women are still getting laid tons by attractive men. Including dates that involve dinner and movies and stuff
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 04:18 PM
1

Define fair? What is fair in terms of people dating? Collective decision skews towards fairness usually leads to arranged marriages so every man gets a woman provided to him instead of competing for her interest, isn’t it so ?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 03:57 PM
1

I think it’s relevant. Because there’s a sense that when I try to explain what a woman may actually feel in this environment, men are resistant to accept it. And straightforwardly rejecting that reality isnt going to help men with having better dating outcomes. So I’m wondering… if we gave men all the benefits of the doubt and let them make all the rules (like they used to… ), what would their ideal situation be?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 03:06 PM
1

Explain regarding relationships. What would you take from these traditional societies and implant into western women’s minds if you could?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 02:50 PM
1

So you think arranged marriages are better for gender roles?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 02:12 PM
1

Oh wow. So … you think men will just exert power over us and force us back into relationships again? Is that coming down the pipe?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 01:47 PM
2

I’m not thinking about it in terms of winning or losing unless losing for a woman means being stuck with a man you don’t want, and losing for a man means being alone instead of having a woman provided for you. If that’s the case winning is for women to select who they want (like men would love) and for men to also select women they want To level up, I think men need to start looking at competition more seriously and work on it. It’s the only way they can stand out other than through shaming : bu…

No, I don’t think you’re right. I think the analogy would be : Pay check analogy only works if Women weren’t even given MONEY before; and now we have some extra cash and a choice of where to work. Men have the same amount of money, always had a choice of where to work. Problem is there’s more competition now for positions. Their increased competition feels unfair but truly it’s rectifying a previous unfairness (that of the entire amount of money and opportunity belonging and being exchanged amon…

???? You’re derailing. Put yourself in the situation of the made up scenario where this is all reversed…. I’m not trying to get you in a “gotcha” moment ; I’m trying to create a space for you to consider dating from the angle of someone who has opportunity that is not even a right, globally. Just CONSIDER what it could be like to be confronted even with having to decide among too many great options… that’s all. Think of what that does to a person. It was arranged by my Nonno and her father Also I’ve dated Indian guys who are perfectly capable of getting their parents to establish an arranged marriage for them. So now add that thought to the thought experiment: You’re selecting your choice of women - from hundreds - and many are perfectly nice and beautiful and want to just have something fun and regular. Who says you have to meet “many?” You can meet as many or as few as you want and be entirely open and still have options. Ethically? Checks out. With all that freedom and options you wouldn’t just enjoy meeting people and seeing where things might go with them? Linear dating is weird; it’s like everything has to be a dealbreaker or not. Why not date in a solar system where people might orbit in and out of your life as a lover here and there? Not many: just a few really great people ?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/24 12:24 PM

Speak for yourself. Again I think you should consider the market from our point of view and ask yourself if you’d REALLY be as ethical as you say. This is considering the fact that only recently (and only in some parts of the globe) women have had the choice of partner. When left up to men, they don’t even give us a dating OPTION. They just pass the girl from dad to homie. I’m sure when men had their pick of women as objects they didn’t give honesty and integrity much thought

Can I propose a thought experiment? Imagine: We are in a world (for the moment) where it would be reversed: women are vying for the opportunity for dates, and instead of the women being in demand, it’s the men in demand. So men in this imaginary world have the options that women have in this reality: just flip the genders. So as a man, you open up your dating app. You instantly have a notification that says “+100 likes since you last opened the app!” And you see this every day so you just don’t …

It’s a class system. They need two classes of women: the “lower” class they can mock, abuse, and masturbate to (which is part of the arousal - the degradation, which is why ‘innocence broken’ is such a prevalent porn genre.) The second class is the “good” class of women that they might masturbate to but also must outwardly show public respect. Make no mistake; most men think any girl is a potential sex conquest if they have enough money. This is a belief system. Every girl is a potential prostit…

/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 02:33 PM

Because that’s not even a logical thing : look at Beyoncé, look at Rihanna, look at every beautiful powerful woman … they’ve all been cheated on! It’s a fallacy that attractiveness keeps someone from cheating. Try again. What’s another example of something that is true, verifiable real-life “leverage” and not merely a metaphor also: “using attractiveness to extract resources” isn’t a concrete example. It’s another what-if. Give me a real example. I’m a realist.

Look women, despite themselves, will ALWAYS be desirable. And if they WANT to settle down there’s still an ocean of men who will. Scarcity is a myth. And actually the people who are having a lot of casual sex and meeting a lot of people just have a higher chance of meeting someone compatible
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 09:36 AM

True. I agree. I think these forces that engender our actions are not conscious nor are they necessarily malicious. Girls don’t inherently mature faster. They’re sexualized younger so they’re forced to reckon with adult sexuality sooner unfortunately
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 09:59 PM

Generally yes. 🙌 young men can be relied upon for NSA sex. Young women that want NSA sex are out there too… but I haven’t had to look for them. Old and otherwise unattractive Men will PAY for youth. But casual sex with fully developed cerebellums where there’s no weird power issue with an age gap is not inherently bad (you’re a smart cookie you can extrapolate from there). I go on a dating app, set my age range, be very honest about wanting something casual.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 09:58 PM

Not when you have a power imbalance. That makes it quite easy to attract or prey on young women .
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 09:42 PM

lol it’s not charity. I own my home and car and I have friends and nieces and nephews and friends. I’ve seen friends grow old or get sick and some even die. From what I’ve seen working in the health care industry: girlfriends and family will do 100% more than a husband/boyfriend. In fact statistically if a partner comes down with a serious illness, women are more likely to stay, and men are much much more likely to bail. It’s science.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 09:41 PM

Sksksksksks here come the downvotes! God FORBID a woman have an ethical good time!
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 09:23 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 09:22 PM

We’ll see what other women say. Other women who have actually dated older AND younger men. And you’re making a false equivalency: my 40 year old prof was my professor. I was his student. He had my grades. In my relationships, I have no professional or personal connection to these young (delicious) men
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 09:21 PM

No because we only have sex. But I’m not coy about my intentions. I will say I’ve had many men touch-base with me months and even years after a relationship that I felt was strictly sexual, saying that they missed our conversations. This has happened more than once so whether or not I’m aware of it, I’m making some sort of impression 🩷. My motto is to be honest and leave them better than I found them.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 09:18 PM

Considering I’ve never had more action then I have past 35+ I’m beginning to think the scarcity issue is a myth. Women tend to be critical of age gaps between men and women because when men date younger women they tend to do so because they can’t pull anyone their own age. They also like to have someone they think is less smart, to mold. I’ve been the younger woman in a may December romance - and there’s a massive power differential usually as well : my lover was also my professor in university.…

Woah woah woah - lol no need to get defensive. I mean depending on who you ask, it’s the men with the big suicide problem. I think men also blame this on an external locus of control. Like it’s women’s fault somehow. When women don’t get what they want, they tend to hate themselves, work on themselves, hurt or injure themselves…. But when men don’t get what they want, they externalize that hate by blaming and hurting others - even punching a wall You know?

No, women just get beaten to death for showing their hair in Afghanistan and Iran, and both Israeli and Palestinian women have been brutalized, raped and murdered in war. And literally no one cares. When your experience is invalidated so frequently, it becomes difficult to remain objective. So folks look outside for an external barometer. Also girls and women are always told to give everyone a chance. Give 10 chances. Give 100 chances…. So to answer your question, the OP is trying to see if the invalidation they are feeling is justified by sharing the story

This is shame worthy. Because the premise is that a woman loses value by her “use” as a sex “object” which is inherently sexist. Sexism deserves our derision.

No - desire does not equal correct lol that’s a real sketchy way of seeing human behaviour You’re not a teacher to your partner - you are an equal . Your perspectives are EQUAL

What is desired in a partner can’t be correct or incorrect. It can differ. A teacher child relationship is certainly a power imbalanced one where there are correct answers.

Yeah I guess except values aren’t necessarily correct or incorrect - they merely differ

lol you’re not understanding me. You CANT control what they do. So all you can DO is say “I don’t like how they acted towards me” And YOU need to decide if it’s a dealbreaker. Or else, initiate the discussion to figure it out. But you can only manage yourself and your reactions. You can’t expect to dictate your partners actions, even if you’re married! Because we are free human beings. We have to keep communicating and deciding whether our values align. That’s the healthy way: not to presume to …

If the guy loved the surfer girl and said “I can’t handle you being sexy on the gram” and she does it and he leaves? He’s done her a huge favor. Some boundaries are dumber than others. But : we are all entitled to have them.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/23 07:45 PM
8

Yes! That’s the boundary. “I’m not comfortable with this.” Is a boundary anyone can have, and it’s okay to walk away if it’s been broken. It’s okay to say “this is my dealbreaker”. It’s even okay to say “I didn’t realize this would be a dealbreaker, but after thinking about it, I realize it is for me” We can’t control others. We can’t control what others will do. All we can control is how we respond
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/23 07:39 PM
11

You’re not understanding me. Yes, relationships have boundaries. And dealbreakers. But if the person breaks those boundaries it’s YOU that leaves and makes other choices. Or say, like in your example, you only will date someone if they Don’t have an OF. They agree. But then they change their mind? That’s within their rights. It’s YOUR boundary, so YOU get to leave and find a new partner! People are allowed to change their minds/ and you’re allowed to date who you want. But you can’t effectively …
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/23 07:18 PM
10

Indeed : for one’s self. Not for others. For example; if your boundary is that you don’t want your girlfriend to dress sexy? You get yourself a girlfriend who doesn’t dress sexy. It’s YOU that changes, not the person who doesn’t need to change. My boundary might be that i won’t let someone yell at me. That doesn’t mean my partner can’t yell ever - it means that if they yell at me, I will leave. Boundaries are for YOU. They aren’t to control others.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/23 07:10 PM

Boundaries are things you put in place for yourself. It’s not telling someone what to do.

That’s not what I said at all. Functionally, until the 70s, and maybe until the 90s (where rape laws really took hold) women were property and so this is the first, maybe second generation of men who didn’t get an easy transition into woman ownership. Functionally, men lived alone, women were their property they took care of, and as long as he was a good man to her, all is ok. She managed his empire and built his army. We haven’t won until women aren’t being assaulted and Black people don’t have to fear the presence of police. I really don’t think we are there yet. The exhaustion to which you refer is the manifestation of the pendulum swing for better or worse

The irony is that the same men that will say : “You can sleep with whoever you want so there’s no problem” Will be the ones saying, when you admit to having a happy sex life: “Those men just see you as a trash bin c** dumpster” Which is it? I’m a whore or a victim depending on how a man feels that day.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/23 01:32 PM

That’s different : Abused each other is not understanding that Johnny Depp was worse and had more power and money and physical strength. So saying “both sides” isn’t the same as supporting Amber Heard as a victim. I have yet to see a man do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/23 01:17 PM

They may know about other men and not do anything. They certainly don’t go out on a limb to defend a woman - can you imagine???? I literally can’t imagine a man being like “that Johnny depp always struck me as being abusive…. I’m sure he deserves to be in jail” Even when we tell our partners and fathers and police that we’ve been assaulted… they don’t believe us Which implicitly means they’re already aligned with their brethren. It’s a cartel in some ways
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/23 01:09 PM

It’s not about that; it’s about whether you’re believed as victim. Men will defend and believe other men, generally speaking. Women will not do the same for other women, generally speaking. It sucks

Um. Well you don’t have to be native to be at risk of being murdered as a woman. Some risks are greater than others, but rest assured that one woman is killed every third day in Canada - CANADA! - from their intimate partner. In Mexico a couple of years ago it was 10 women per day. In America it’s three women per day. It’s almost 2 a day in Korea. “Seeing how femicides happen over a 10-year period allows us to see the patterns that repeat, grow, and diminish when it comes to the killing of women…

Not necessary to live. Women can’t depend on men for survival. When we do: bad things happen. Women unfortunately don’t have one another’s backs in the way that a man will defend TO THE DEATH the reputation of a man he’s never met lol 😂 It’s a safety mechanism. Some women think that if they throw other women under, somehow it will protect themselves. It’s pretty antithetical to feminism, but then again, feminism should be defending and supporting all women as a class. I wish there was more solidarity there

There are far more kinds of intimacy than just sexual intimacy, and men are starved of platonic emotional intimacy and platonic physical intimacy as well. Betty Friedan noted that the “final frontier” of feminism would also include freeing men from patriarchy, as men =/= patriarchy but are still affected by it the same as women are. Are you American? Canadian? Who is drafting you to fight? To die? Women live longer than men because they take care of themselves. They DO go to doctors and engage in preventative medicine. So yeah we use social services and that’s why we live longer duh. They’re there for you too. Anyway : since you can pay for sex and aren’t getting drafted what the hell are you weeping about ?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 06:00 PM

Women don’t exist men into wars. That’s on you dudes. Also can we take a moment for the women raped by the very same soldiers ? Also, being a soldier doesn’t involve getting fucked. The nature of the profession is different. Also soldiers get free medical care. Sex workers dont. Also soldiers haven’t been drafted in Canada or the states so it seems like a “choice” to me
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 05:55 PM

Okay how can women help unfuck men enough so men can have the intimacy they want? And what are the issues Male depression; women aren’t therapists inherently. This takes men getting help and giving help to one another if they want to lift one another out of depression. This is what women do/. Male loneliness : right now men have never had more access to women. Aside from forcing women to sleep with un-dateable men, or paying for their consent, men could try making friends with women without tryi…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 05:29 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 05:15 PM

So your solution is to PAY to have women who otherwise are disgusted by the client to have sex with them? Pay for consent? That seems like an okay thing to do? Where will this stream of trafficked women come from? What if every woman decides to refuse? Then what? Anyway what you’re describing is pretty well what things are like now so why the complaints? The only thing different (and it has nothing to do with sex) is that men currently pay child support - to women they’ve had kids with
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 04:57 PM
3

lol 😂 Well maybe us Canadian women can live without marriage and kids then. We are increasingly divorcing and leaving our husbands and our birth rate is lowering accordingly
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 04:55 PM

It isn’t beside the point actually, not if you see women as humans who don’t deserve to be made to have sex with or be intimate with anyone. Does a man’s human right to sex outweigh a woman’s human right to say no? What if he has money and she still doesn’t want to? What then? Throw her in jail?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 04:52 PM

Oh so your solution is to pay women to do it. Pay for them to consent to touch someone they don’t want to touch. Better than nothing but not ideal
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 04:44 PM

What if, after all of that, we have egalitarian dating and there are still men that can’t secure any intimacy or girlfriend? What if, all else being equal, some men just don’t end up attracting women…. then what

Omg really I’m snorting at comparing men to disabled children… 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 03:55 PM

What is your idea of a solution? Force women to be intimate with the men with whom they don’t want to be? To force women to touch men they don’t want to touch? Really to imply that it’s human right to HAVE a girlfriend or intimacy, you are also implying that if no one wants them, someone has to be forced right?

I’m saying if I want to find someone to settle for me, statistically it’s just more likely. No need to shame me
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 02:00 PM

Bro I am 43. I called a fwb who is a wrestler who is 25 to come over and bounce me off the walls before bed. I have another fwb, 34, coming over on Sunday to do shrooms and make love and make some art and listen to music. I have a black book filled with men and I turn down multiple dates per week. I don’t even sleep with all of them! They’re as available as skip the dishes. So I mean… you can convince yourself of that but I assure you the ladies are doing fine

Counterpoint: men, to have a partner that they can be contractually bound to for “life”, will settle for pretty much anyone as long as they’re attracted to them. As men get older they become more undesirable to women who are over the age of 25. Women, in contrast, always have an ocean of men (young) looking for cougars. They come into play as fast as men age. For every age group of women there will be a large body of male potential dates to choose from because every facet of women’s existence ha…

Okay as a totally accredited slut let me tell you my perspective: Women aren’t necessarily dating to marry. I certainly am not anymore. This opens up a large potential pool of partners who are fun and wonderful with no strings attached. Women are making up more of the dating pool on dating apps, which is what I use, so I have a large variety of men to choose from. Tinder flattens people into pictorial objects. For good or bad. If I am dating many men, the odds of me finding someone who I’m compa…

Wow you don’t sound nice OR very kind lol but you do make a point which is that niceness and kindness are different . Kind is who someone is and nice is performative

Why are nice guys such dinks then? The answer is that they’re nice but not kind

Remember there’s a huge difference between niceness and kindness. Niceness is PERFORMATIVE. It can also be a means to an end. Kindness is an actual character trait worth waiting for - you can be kind and strong, kind and gruff, kind and generous, kind and also with integrity and honesty when it’s hard.

I don’t think they should. I advocate very selective separatism

How am I not supposed to interpret that behaviour, when it happens so consistently, as anything other than that many many men not only don’t want happiness for women, they’re actively hostile towards it? I’m not supposed to feel hated for being a woman when that happens?? Ooof

Huh downvoted for not hurting anyone and having a healthy active sex life as a woman on Reddit … how strange /sarcasm

Your assumption is that we date to marry still. There’s a growing number of women who did it once and won’t go back. So we just date for the fun of it with people that don’t have to offer anything other than superficially - it’s pretty nice. Everyone gets what they want and there’s no possessiveness, jealousy, entitlement or ownership. Just good vibes.

Was that the website that incited the mass femcel shooting that took the lives of 45 men?!

men raping all women is men raping one woman by that logic… maybe there are women who feel similarly to you, and claim men don’t take their feelings seriously. So when men are demoralized by being cast as perpetrators, women are similarly demoralized by being afraid of being victimized (1 in 4 are) and also dismissed. So it goes both ways

Same way I feel about women who have worked in the sex industry: it’s a shame when public opinion wrongfully follows someone. A shame that society can’t let someone move on even if they’ve done nothing wrong

Who are these women doing this?? On every date I’ve been on, both parties offer to pay, then they agree to split. That’s what’s done. That’s what people do. Except for TWO TIMES - when TWO SEPARATE MEN happened to FORGET their wallet or debit card so I had to pay FOR THEIR ASSES

What are some actionable things you’d like women as a class to do, to address men’s issues?
/r/MensRights22/10/23 07:57 PM

I wasn’t gonna say it. It doesn’t go over well 😑
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 03:27 PM

Whether it’s anyone’s fault or not, the fact is every facet of women’s lived experience has been sexualized and fetishized, so, that, combined with the market being in women’s favor, there will always be someone that will find one attractive. Even if it’s a fetish. You can’t age out of men wanting to use you for sex. We’ve seen men will (and have) had sex with any woman in nearly every conceivable way.

Wow that guarantee is pretty scary actually. What if they give money and then the escort refuses sex? Is that revoking consent or is it a business contract that must be honoured with her body? And if that’s the case, is it impossible for sex workers to be raped?
