“Men kill us” >votes for mass importation of men from consistently violent cultures.

Much of the modern generation of women is reminiscent of the dudes that bought into Andrew Tate. The difference is that there are a lot more of them and they face no social pressure for believing horrible shit.

You need to disengage with the internet, go outside, and enjoy your life. Being 16 is rough. It’s a difficult time emotionally because of hormones and you don’t have all that much control over your life. It gets a lot better soon. There’s no reason to be proud of being a man, or a woman for that matter. You should be proud of being a good man. A large part of masculinity is caring for those around you in your family and community. Don’t let them tell you otherwise.

The gap is actually even wider if you compare black men to black women. Black women basically face no consequences for anything.

They are trampling us with institutional power. Don’t make them look like a counterculture movement.

I don’t have to be a whiny snowflake to believe in men’s rights. If people want to make dumb games let them. You literally sound just like the feminists.

Men have a similar program. If we get drafted, and survive, we get access to the worst form of healthcare available in the US.

There is no greater challenge than talking to a woman who posts things like this about possibly buying a gun.

For real. But a motorcycle or fun car. Hit the road when you have had enough. Come back when you come back.

Redefining words to make your own abhorrent ideas sound like a natural response to political games that your party initiated is bad. Hope this helps.

Pretty quick tone change there, bud. Straight from linking scholarly sources to trying to accuse me of being a try hard. 😂 Instead of trying to dodge, you should just admit that your idea is the single worst possible thing that could happen for American civil rights.

When phrases have particular definitions and hamfisted attempts are made to change those definitions for political means, it absolutely is not okay. It is lying. Furthermore, in this case it is lying particularly for the purpose of achieving full abolition of the autonomy of the judicial branch.

Packing the court has meant the same thing since FDR tried to do it. Packing the court has a specific definition. Stop obfuscating the fact that the court has not been packed, and genuine court packing would be a disaster as it would make the court an extension of the executive branch by packing it every 4 years.

When I was 14, I went with my uncle to a pick up of his son. His ex absolutely lost it for no reason and I recorded it on video. She smacked the phone in my hand and had a bonafide public freakout. The judge saw the video and was pissed. He put an emergency order out against the mother. She had a whole history of using custody in bad faith and irresponsible parenting. When the case went to a new judge for a final divorce hearing, she was still awarded majority custody. Let that sink in. Hit a ch…

There are nearly 100,000 public schools in the United States. School shootings are very rare. There is no reason to traumatize children like that. We are causing more harm than good with these Drills.

Guns are the great equalizer. An abused woman woman and her big, male ex are on even footing with firearms. The same can't be said if you ban guns. Young men are given a Monopoly on violence when firearms are taken out of the equation.
/r/MensRights19/09/19 05:14 PM

Guns are so scary that they should be banned. We should revoke an original constitutional right so that I can be more comfortable. Also: There is no violence problem, why would you want to arm yourself, coward? I always have trouble understanding this one. Edit: I don't think you know what a straw man argument is, but you managed to successfully create one. Good job.

This is insanity. When it really comes down to it, active shooter situations are still incredibly rare and students can't really do kuch anyways. There is no reason to traumatize kids like this.

We had something like this in my high school sociology class. The teacher read it, decided it was bullshit, and we never used those books again. Mrs. H was a good teacher.

I can play devils advocate here. If this were the law of the land, every scum bag out there would waive his rights and force women to either become single parents or get abortions. When a woman gets an abortion, she doesn't leave a man with a burden that she helped create.

No. That is current tax rates including 15.3% from payroll taxes (including employer contributions) So this is predicated entirely on expected economic growth and no new taxes? I explained the issues that I have with that. The absolute best part of UBI is that it empowers people to create their own job. To pool together talent to pursue opportunities that take longer than weeks or months to pay off. Many such opportunities just require "home" computers to create. Most people in the United States…

$3B headline cost from 250M adult Americans each receiving $12k/year. Not 3B, $3T. Reduced by $1.2B because UBI is not on top of existing social programs. Opt-in that allows individuals to choose whichever amount is higher. I beleive that this is also in trillion. It's a bit more complicated though. Let's assume that only 30% of people are making more off of SS and that those people remaining on SS in leui of UBI reduces the cost of SS by 90%. Okay,so let's subtract 900M. We're now at 2.1T. but …

You're calling people "fucking morons" for suggesting that a president can do something that Trump literally just did. You have no idea what you're talking about. Slinging insults while being this wrong makes you look like... a fucking moron.

Trump has redefined the term machine gun, banned a common firearms accessory, and done so in a ex post facto fashion with no grandfather clause. This was all done through EO. The president absolutely can directly affecr gun policy even without congress. At least Trump will listen to the fudds at the NRA. I cant imagine what a hardcore anti-gunner will do with this new precedent.

How does the math work out when we have 325 million people in this country? 800B would be $2,461 per person. That gets you through 2 and a half months. Is the idea that we only assure UBI for the bottom 6th of income?
/r/MensRights14/03/19 06:02 AM

The fed has a total budget of $3.8 trillion. With 325 million people, given the current budget, we could give each person just under $1000 per month if we completely defunded the entire rest of the federal government to include the military, all social programs, law enforcement, infrastructure, medical programs, and literally everything else.

Only when used against civilians. It's also kinda shitty to launch rockets from a school just so that the other guys will blow up a school.

Doing CPR isn't playing hero. It's an easy intervention that anybody who is physically able can do. I'd rather save somebody's life and get hit with a fruitless lawsuit (won't happen) than watch them die in front of me. It isn't running into a shootout or burning building. It's not particularly heroic to do CPR.
/r/MensRights12/11/18 12:26 AM

If a female dies in front of me, I will do CPR 10 times out of 10. There is a higher obligation that avoiding being accused of harassment, which you probably won't be. Its a fear that I can understand, but I don't think that it will materialize.

CPR is very violent and your palm is on the sternum inbetween the breasts. While your fingers would be on top of a breast, if you are doing it right, there is no way to misconceive that you're groping someone. I can see how people would have apprehensions about starting CPR though. You're essentially violently beating another person's chest. It is completely out of social norms especially male to female in any other situation.
/r/MensRights11/11/18 04:35 PM

Give breathless CPR or carry a barrier. You don't want to catch diseases from somebody that you don't know.

How much did he have to bid to get the Ivy League diplomas and an incredibly successful career? Because that is all kind of a huge part of why he was nominated. And would you consider being denied a supreme court seat by political opponents who push your confirmation past the mid-terms "unjust suffering?" You're playing a very dangerous game just because you dont like the nominee. Would you agree that Diane Feinstein holding the letter for 44 days before releasing it at the last moment may have …

I got back into working out. Lifting was the best thing for me during a breakup. It's been almost a year and I haven't been this consistant wiht the gym ever. Enjoy your freedom too. I haven't gotten into another relationship since, just because I don't want to put up with someone else's shit. You'll learn to love it.
