Ahhh shoot, and to think becoming a chemical engineer would have been a positive. I really fucked up, maybe I should have persued something hard like accounting. Engineering is listed here because men aspire to have engineering jobs. Individuals and companies both try to add engineer to job descriptions to make the position sound grander than it really is. It's a very normal tactic to seeming more important and more importantly making more money. Edit: The first paragraph was sarcasm

As a 25/m I find most of those statements incorrect. Maybe I don't regularly see the average twenty something women in my life but all that I do know can cook, clean, take care of a house in addition to competing with men in a legitimate career such as accounting, research, marketing, and engineering. If there is a problem, it's that these women are all in relationships. And why wouldn't they be if they are truly unicorns.

Since when do blanket statements like this get up voted. You can't possibly think that. Granted I've been with more women who can't cook than who can, but it's the ones who can that have earned my respect. Not for the gender roles, but for being self succifient. Comments like this are exactly why RP is viewed negatively.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
