It would be his choice not to stay in that religion. You talked about choice yourself, but not about your son. You know, that says tons about you as a father IMO. And of course he could complain about a part of his body lacking, you know... The main problem that I'm trying to remark is that you, prematurely, decided to lower his future comfort, hygiene, etc... Just because you believe in something instead of respecting the beliefs he could have, or the decisions he would make about his own body.…

I'm not talking about the law. I'm talking about basic, common sense. Welp, at least trying, sorry if I speak incorrectly. What if your child, when becoming an adult, decides to not be jew? He has to live without that part of his body just because you chosed to. Don't you think that this is a bit sad? Phisically changing the life of someone because you imposed your point of view over whatever it'd chose? He could do it after becoming an adult, when he can IMO chose with rationally.

Exactly. Doing that to your child is exactly the opposite of freedom. You are imposing YOUR point of view in your baby. That's what I'm saying. Nice to see that we both can agree in something for once!

If you were my mate in a relationship, i'd be ging right out the door by your scond statement. This way of thought, this justifications based on religion, the way of doing things for yourself instead of just waiting for the child to grow up and deciding itself to even choose a religion... This is lame.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
