22	Synthetic Masculinity This is false. Nicotine actually reduces circulating estrogen as it is an aromotase inhibitor. Estrogen is metabolized from testosterone, so if you inhibit aromotase, you effectively keep more of your testosterone and exhibit less "feminine" biological traits (less estrogen receptor activation).
