As a counter point, if you're a man who has a child with a woman who is so messed up she loses custody, you're probably a bit messed up too. Two normal people are more likely to end up in a single mother situation in case of a split.

FYI, that's actually the "correct" answer to that question. It's supposed to be a trap to catch people who are guilty because they minimize the seriousness or blame something else. If your answer to what should be done to the person who killed your baby is something like "I think everyone should be given a second chance. You don't know what that person was dealing with in their life." Then that's considered a sign of guilt because you'd expect the parent of murdered child to be outraged

I'd be willing to believe there's a threat of force to do so and she's charging him aggressively. in some places, she is treading on dangerous territory and you're probably almost justified in pulling out a gun on her. a threat of deadly force is usually required but it's really up to the court's. if you're looking at it from that perspective, a step down to defending yourself with non deadly force seems completely justified. she is definitely the aggressor.

Speaking of this, I'm more worried about the two people standing behind her next to another vehicle. They were pretty close to in line with the shot. The officer probably should have been more aware and either held his ground and shot her sooner or at least picked a different direction to back up in. Also, speaking of pcp... the reason LTL weapons aren't used when your life is on the line.

entirely correct. the penalty for falsely accusing someone in court would work fine if we were in an ideal world, where the accused wouldn't be outed unless they were actually convicted. (innocent until proven guilty?) as it stands now though, punishment for a rape claim is swift and severe whether charges are leveled or not.
