I added the MRM to Wikipedia's disambiguation page about anti-sexism. (Update to previous post about Wikipedia)I also made an edit, to move the order of the 'Part of a series on...' boxes, so that Misandry has Discrimination above Masculism, like Misogyny has Discrimination above Feminism. (Previously, they were the wrong way around.) | /r/MensRights | 19/03/20 06:59 PM
I added the MRM to Wikipedia's disambiguation page about anti-sexism. (Update to previous post about Wikipedia)Wikipedia isn't a company, it's a charity that created and maintains the platform. There are unpaid community moderators at various levels, the highest of which require voting from the community. However, if you don't start an edit war (back-and-forth editing from two disagreeing parties), and have a civilised discussion in the Talk page, and bring up good arguments without mindlessly repeating yourself, they'd be quite happy to hear your opinion. | /r/MensRights | 19/03/20 06:43 PM

So my post just got removed from r/unpopular opinion because it was classed as a post about feminism? It’s bullshit.I think it's just because there are many reposts of this point by people who don't know how many times it's been reposted, and the moderators don't want to allow people to get free karma without adding anything. | /r/MensRights | 12/02/20 07:40 PM

Something to think about for the “wage gap”But if every atom has been scanned, then it's already modelled the exact positions and velocities of every atom, and the signals going from your brain to your muscles. So the coin toss isn't truly random, since the outside of the room remains completely still with no interference. And once the coin's been flipped, you're making your decision off of something it's already predicted. And you don't have to do what the coin says, but it already knows, and knew, whether or not you would before you wo… | /r/MensRights | 17/10/19 06:13 PM
Something to think about for the “wage gap”Exactly. But we don't know how to get there. There's also an idea I've seen. First, say you're in a room. You've been cryogenically frozen, and every atom in the room has been perfectly stationary and scanned by an AI. It then simulates exactly what you'd do, down to the atom reactions. It's done this many times before, with many different people, and has never been wrong. There are two boxes. The first one contains $1,000,000 or something, and the second one contains $500,000. The numbers thems… | /r/MensRights | 17/10/19 01:36 AM

Something to think about for the “wage gap”No, have you heard about the Paperclip Maximiser idea? Make a human-level intelligence capable of self-modifying, get it to make as many paperclips as possiboe, then let it loose. If it has enough understanding of how the world works, it can eventually start making decisions that seem unrelated, like hiring politicians who are more business-friendly or more likely to make a loophole that can be used to make more paperclips. Eventually, it kills all humans to get them out of the way. After that, … | /r/MensRights | 17/10/19 12:03 AM

Something to think about for the “wage gap”No, I mean the gap between AGI and ASI is practically non-existent, it would be like a human-level-intelligence but with the knowledge to build a human-level intelligence from the start and running many times faster. It will be able to easily reach ASI after a few iterations of this. | /r/MensRights | 15/10/19 11:50 PM
Something to think about for the “wage gap”Once we do that, though, it will be able to run much faster than a regular human brain. However, along this line of thought, I don't think we will achieve 'superintelligence' (where it's able to self-modify faster than any humans could program it) through 'uploading' human brains (or from what you've said, building them). I think it will arise from a development in neural networks, like how they themselves arose from Markov chains. | /r/MensRights | 15/10/19 10:21 PM

Something to think about for the “wage gap”Oh, yes, I heard about that. I'm currently in favour of removing payment and employmrnt selection based on people's demographics being 'historically oppressed' when historical oppression doesn't affect them personally, or due to diversity quotas. We should instead use a 'colour-blind system', where race and gender aren't reviewed, and are preferably hidden from the one making decisions. | /r/MensRights | 14/10/19 11:18 PM

[French] HPV vaccin is finaly free for men in Belgium, it was free for women since 2011. HPV can also affect men causing mouth, anus and penis cancers. Talk to your doctor about it !I wasn't triggered, I just thought it was humorous that they decided to downvote it without providing any explanation or rebuttal. Sorry for promoting half-truths, but it's my belief that if we're able to eradicate diseases like we did with Smallpox, but some people think that the method is bad because it can have side effects, even when side-effects are negligible and extremely rare, especially compared with actual diseases, we shouldn't let these people know about the risks. If they're 1/10,00… | /r/MensRights | 05/09/19 02:38 PM

This had to happen eventually, they're smearing MRA's as nazisActually, this approval process only happens for articles with high levels of vandalism. To edit or approve proposed edits, users need to be high enough in the levelling system (lower levels are done by extensive editing, higher levels are done by a democratic system with the community voting for candidates). There's no singular company that organises it, but the Wikimedia Foundation runs the servers. There are many, many more useful pages, and it's extremely good for general knowledge, and more… | /r/MensRights | 10/08/19 04:51 PM

Nothing to do with the show itself, but again and again, the media try to portray, and creative a narrative that a man being intimidated by a women, or making them feel uncomfortable is acceptable. It doesn’t make you a ‘Feminist icon’ it makes you an inconsiderate, obnoxious, arrogant person.Hopefully, Apple News will be good if we use the Report function, but it's iOS only (for now, but it may be released on more platforms as part of Apple's services push). I reported several articles for promoting astrology, when it's a scam, but these haven't been acted on yet. The sad thing is that disliking only tunes the preferences for you and people like you, and you can't influence the recommendations of someone who does view this garbage. | /r/MensRights | 12/07/19 06:47 PM

It doesn’t make you a ‘Feminist icon’ it makes you an inconsiderate, obnoxious, arrogant person. We need something like Apple News, but with a crowdsourced way of letting people report things as reposts, but without moderators. A 'repost' report, which can remove things that have been expressed before, for instance, without requiring majority opinion. (Or allowing people to vote on whether something is a repost of an example provided.) With this system, we could combat clickbait and misinformation. | /r/MensRights | 12/07/19 06:38 PM |

It doesn’t make you a ‘Feminist icon’ it makes you an inconsiderate, obnoxious, arrogant person.Remember, people, this isn't 'the media', it's one specific company, Sky News, which does this to convince the masses (who apparently read this garbage) that they're a good news company, while ignoring real issues and subtly manipulating them with its biased political articles to align their incentives with those of Rupert Merdoch. It's another face for The Sun. | /r/MensRights | 12/07/19 05:51 PM |

Are there any solid statistics on the disproportionality between all-boys' schools and all-girls' schools? But in either case, you're not preparing children for socialising with normal people who aren't all the same gender. I get that it shouldn't matter, but segregating people based on race would be racist (even if there are brother/sister schools of the opposite gender), and people don't seem to realise that segregating people based on gender, by the same logic, must be sexist. | /r/MensRights | 13/03/19 04:32 PM

This toxic feminism really has to stop, I am 200% behind equal rights for women and men but saying you can’t be sexist towards men is in my opinion sexist on its ownNo, men are the same gender as Donald Trump, but we're not all Russian-payed, corrupt, wall-builders. | /r/MensRights | 13/01/19 05:56 PM
Sexism against men in high school PEIn my high school, on the report sheets, the PE grade just said 'N/A'. I think this is because they can't discriminate against people with disabilities, so instead, they mark your 'progress'. The thing is, the boys do mandatory rugby and football and hockey, while the girls do 'dancing'. This is disgusting, considering that the head teacher is female, and hasn't done anything about this. | /r/MensRights | 13/01/19 05:46 PM

Visual representation of equality in the USI've seen some intense vandalism in the Boys' restroom when I was in high school, though. Once, apparently one toilet-paper holder had been thrown across it and hit someone. For a few months after that, there was a teacher on 'duty' outside there who would check that we hadn't vandalised it, even after the suspect had been found guilty. | /r/MensRights | 13/01/19 05:31 PM
