Going to soapbox and say the worldnews subreddit has been useless for actual world news. It's just the same stories about Russia/Ukraine, there's so many Ukraine war posts the filter doesn't even work.

The body of your post has very little to do with the normalised institutional disdain for men. Regardless I will engage and say our modern hyper connected world has given everyone, women included, unrealistic expectations for obtaining and maintaining any kind of relationship. Women compare their boyfriends and potential men around them to men they'd never have the chance to meet in decades past. They look for the tiniest reason or flaw to end the relationship because they believe a constant str…

Never argue with a feminist, they'll just tell you you're wrong but won't explain why and call you uneducated when you don't mirror their exact views.

Being misogynistic isn't a deal breaker for a lot of women.

The rating has to be impartial and done by the app itself because people (women) will rate men low just for having the nads to like their profile.

Hm, I can understand men being concerned about those risks but I doubt women are. Do you really think women are clowning one another over rejection, lol? Seems like male behavior to me. I don't doubt women care about how they are perceived more than men, hence why they refuse to approach or put in effort for men they like beyond looking pretty. Approaching puts you in a position to be embarrassed by another human being something women understand, which is why they don't do it. I think you are wi…

Ironically it's made it harder to make friends with women unless you are absolutely sure she's not a psychopath. Add to the fact that feminist talking points against predatory men disproportionately affect non white men it's best to avoid women until she's proven to be not crazy. Related to this I'm more likely to ignore a woman in crisis than a man because there's a good chance you might get screwed over for helping. Women are less likely to receive cpr than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 05:26 PM

Risk of rejection, getting clowned by your friends for being rejected, risk of getting on another woman's bad side for showing interest in a guy she's also interested in. Think about it, if there was no social risk or even social benefits for women to make the first move, they would do it but they don't, why? You can't tell me there's no way women don't see an attractive man every other day they go out.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 05:10 PM

In a world where gender roles are cherry picked based off what benefits women they need an excuse to uphold the roles that put them at the least social risk.

I'm here because it's one of the few subs moderated by actual human beings and not mindless drones. This allows me to argue within reason without fear of breaking some rule that wasn't in the sidebar. Truth is reading this place helped me get a lot of perspective and realise the sorts of mistakes I was making with women.

What percentage of medieval men do you think were celibate? I want you to actually think about the answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 01:09 PM

Literally what are you even trying to say?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 01:06 PM

Lack of serious romantic prospects and an inability to own land or capital is a huge factor explaining why some terrorist groups are able to recruit young men to die in pointless wars.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 01:05 PM

They were? Up until the last 40 years 80% of men were married, marriage and children were a necessity if you wanted to survive before modern times.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 01:04 PM

A whopping 5% of men, that's such a YUGE percentage of the male population.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 12:13 PM

Yes East Asia, a region famous for not having major rebellions. In medieval Europe, where polygamy was not practiced, huge numbers of men joined the clergy and were celibate. The clergy were such a small group it's irrelevant to include them. The clergy were one of few non royal medieval people who could read, that's not exactly a huge number. Also if you read history a lot of priests weren't actually celibate.

You and I both know that traditional acting is not at all comparable to porn in it's nature, social stigma, or risk so keep that in mind. Isla Fisher almost drowned, Jackie Chan broke multiple bones and Alec Baldwin literally killed someone, we aren't calling for a ban to cinema or saying cinema is inherently harmful to society like porn, most of which is rooted in Puritan nonsense. Anyone can feel bad about doing something but you can't say they didn't know what they were getting into.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 11:59 AM

Telling men they are ugly without making it a moral failing opens up the chances of them being judged on their looks too.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 04:44 AM

The same one that explicitly includes signing up to be fucked on camera for money? Do you think people break into a porn actor's house and force them to fuck on camera?

This applies to regular acting roles, none of this harm is due to porn specifically, it's due to evil people in the entertainment industry, which is bigger than just porn.

You're so right, posts generated by Artificial Intelligence can be frustrating to moderate and pose a challenge if you care about proving an authentic and earnest space to larp like characters from the matrix about matters of the human genitalia. I will make sure to never add artificially generated content to your subreddit to make your job as a moderator much easier. Is there anything else I can help you with?

I'm starting to think the reason a lot of modern women are going insane is because of reality TV shows like Love Island and Basketball Wives. It got them thinking they can land a rich, hot guy or gain power over women by being a psychotic, manipulative and confrontational. It's basically just wrestling for women.

I enjoy sex very much with the man I love. Congratulations I do not have any reason to enjoy sex with the general population. Which is fine But nice of you to try to tell me I’m somehow defective for not wanting to whore myself out to men who don’t care about me. This would be the third time I said what you do with your own lady bits is fine And I bet you do not like women who have sex with men “in general” anyways Conjecture totally empty attempt at shaming me for not wanting to be disposable. …

Millions of young men want to play in the NBA, few will be selected and the rest will live vicariously through the NBA players, it's the same way women approach relationships. They want a top guy, if they can't get or keep a top guy many live in unsatisfied relationships with average men or stay single.

Sounds like you just don't enjoy sex in general, which is fine but in no way comparable to the experience of crushing loneliness and isolation. A lot of the time women glorify the experience of having no one because they have no frame of reference to experience similar rates of rejection as men. The only women who could experience similar rejection rates as men are severely disabled women or old women who somehow still kept their sex drive.

why do some of you push this idea that men are extraordinarily and especially lonely because they can't get a girlfriend or wife? Because it's just true. When women talk about loneliness, it's an inability to find her ideal long term relationship instead of casual sexual encounters and flings. When men talk about loneliness, it's the inability to find anyone at all. This idea isn't solely pushed by men, women have made fun of lonely men for the past decade now.

I think this only really happens online. Offline nobody really cares if you're rude, only if you're attractive and have something going for yourself.
