The vast majority of my friends from high school who got married aren't married anymore. Or if they are, they're on marriage number 2. Some people are not comfortable being alone. They would rather be miserable with someone else than have to spend a day by themselves. Most people I know seem to fall into one of 2 categories: Those who jump from relationship to relationship almost immediately, and those who tend to be single more often than not.

Tipping needs to just go away, at least as an expectation. I do tip when I eat out, but I eat out rarely, partially because of tipping. It's an extra expense I don't feel like paying. Star Trek, for me, ended when Voyager limped home. Such a frustrating series. Youtube is also demonitizing any channel under 1000 subscribers and under 4000 hours watched in the past 12 months. I have a small channel that I mostly use to post storm chasing, or other local weather footage. Similar situation happened to people I know. Girl was married to a guy, but he overdosed and died. A few months later, she was with his identical twin brother. Couple years after that, she died (don't know the reason for that one, probably drugs). Then the living twin brother dated the girl's childhood best friend for awhile, but that didn't last.
