You want a men's rights sub to fight for women? No? Reading comprehension dude. I want a sub where people accept men and women both face sexism and both should be treated equally. An ideal mens rights sub would accept the above but focus on the male issues without blaming all women or acting as if women have it easy. Just as an ideal feminist sub would work on the womens side of things whilst accepting men don't have it easy and without blaming men for all their issues. These two theoretical sub…

Tell you what, what is your solution to not being falsely accused eh? Treat everyone equal and advocate for a society in which all are treated the same irregardless of their skin color, gender, sex, or religion. Achieve this through cooperation and political movement. All your solution does is further the "us vs them" complex.

Reddit really needs a good menrights sub. We currently have three terrible groups. Redpillers that are 100% misogynist, this sub which as fell into a pit of "feminist are to blame for all my problems", and menslib which is about self hatred and blaming men for all their issue but subtly. Ideally a good sub would be about mens issues, how to address them, a forum to organize political rallies and lobby on behalf of inequalities men face, and an area where people that want to end sexism against me…

According to this sub women are never harassed and have the entire U.S. government at their backs and Antia Sarkesian is god emperor of Earth. Take your non-tribalistic egalitarian views elsewhere.

lmao this sub. You guys find the most radical of the left and pretend they own the whole world and you're some Jew in Nazi Germany. Fucking hell you'd thing you were on /r/GenderCritical with this kind of talk. Calm down, lets work together to get men and women equal say, equal rights, and so on. Lets accept both men and women have multiple horrible issues that stem from sexism. This is just tribalism right here though. God damn you're damaging the mens side of feminism/egalitarianism/ect. if yo…

Black crime rates are a result of segregation, lynching, lack of government intervention on crimes against blacks, and white flight. All this lead to black families being forced into poverty while white families could more likely become successes. When you're forced into poor low income areas, treated like criminals, given underfunded schools, and your ancestors were all robbed of the ability to build up a successful lineage then of course many of you will turn to crime. It's easier for many whi…

Perhaps some counselling? Holy patronizing batman. Yeah I guess MLK needed counselling too. That civil rights movement crap was just his childhood trama.

I'm not saying I think it's either way, I'm not from your neighborhood. But if black people commit a disproportionate amount of crime and are more likely to fight police, isn't there some logic to them getting treated differently? And does that really mean white people are treated in a privileged way, or are they simply treated normally? With that logic it's acceptable we treat men differently since they disproportionately abuse themselves and women. I don't understand how you can't see the iron…

The irony is they'll accept female privilege in domestic abuse situations but they won't accept male or white privilege existing.

racist ass White people do have privileged in the united states though. Would it be racist for a Jew in Nazi Germany to point out that Aryan Germans had privilege over minorities? That Aryan German could fucking hate Hitler but he'd still have an easier time than a Jew that hated Hitler. I saw privilege first hand when cops would harass my family but not the white people next door, or when people that needed help would ask the white person in the group almost always. You don't have to be racist,…

I think it's because people think that being privileged means you have it easy or you're racist. It just means that the past and current actions of racist and sexist individuals have forcefully allowed one class of people to have it easier when put in the same circumstances as another class of people. You didn't have to be a jew hating Nazi to be privileged as a White German male in Nazi Germany. You don't have to be a Christian hating dictator to have Islamic privilege in Saudi Arabia.

I get her point though. White people are overly represented in the U.S. and will often have an easier time dealing with issues than a minority in the same situation. This doesn't mean white people should feel guilty, that they have it easy, or that they're oppressing people. It just means that racist groups of white people in both the past and present have made it easier for whites in general to succeed. Before you compulsively downvote, lets show this with a more relatable extreme. Not everyone…

It's turning me off of this sub. Now I just identify myself as an egalitarian. Identify as a feminist and many men will hate you and radical feminist will say you're just trying to get in their pants. Identify as a MRA and women call you a misogynist and red pillers say you're a snowflake if you don't accept their radical responses. Egalitarian is something I hope takes ground. The idea that everyone is truly equal in terms of race, sex, gender, ect. Best of all it doesn't have any gender specif…

My god thank you. People like the guy above are why people see this sub as some misogynistic redpill lite. Ironically feminist have the same issue with their Tumblr types making everyone think feminist are blue haired phycopaths with victim complexes.

I don't think it means men put it together. Women have held up the idea of patriarchy for thosuands of years willingly. I hear old women talk about how "women shouldn't be tough that's a mans job!" or how leading, doing sciences, and all that is mens stuff and it's a womans job to care for the kids and help their man. Patriarchy isn't in any way a good thing for either side unless you're the top 1% in which case it will help a man more than a woman but that's more the exception not the norm. The…

Societies opinion on male sex offenders will never change See I disagree. A mere 60 years ago if a woman disagreed with her husband she would literally have her frontal lobe chopped off and it was seen as acceptable by society. If society can go from "chopping female brains in half is okay!" to "women and men should be seen as equals" then we can for sure work to make sure men are treated fairly as well. Just because change is slow doesn't mean it's nonexistant.
/r/MensRights13/11/17 02:39 PM

That's pretty easy for the state to abuse though. Instead society needs to learn what innocent until proven guilty means. It's just that changing society will take more work than using a government band-aid solution that can be abused to remove people without the public knowing.

There's good reason to not want a nanny and lots of midwestern towns arn't big enough to have any house keepers at all. You have no idea why a couple might want someone at home. I'm just trying to help you understand why alimony is a thing. Finding a cheap shove off answer isn't helping anyone.
/r/MensRights09/11/17 04:55 PM

It's there because if a couple decides to have one stay home and manage the house they're not building a career. So when they split up one will have a fully developed career to fall back on while the other is no different than an 18 year old in terms of job options. The answer isn't "well both should have careers" because many times married couples need someone managing the home. So splitting the accounts means one spouse leaves with half and a fully developed career while the other leaves with …

Women and men are in this together whether we like it or not. Half this sub doesn't seem to see that sadly. They're the reason MRA means "redpill misogynist" to many people. Just like how Tumblr feminist ruin the work feminist these incels ruin the word "mens rights activist".
/r/MensRights28/10/17 03:44 PM

Man this sub really swings from alt-right, redpill, incels, to sane people wanting equality for men and women. I just love the irony because half of you degenerates go "REEEEE FEMINAZIS" while being the male versions of feminazis. I wish the equality for everyone lets work with rational feminist kinda people had their own sub and the incel guys like you had your own. Instead this sub is always fighting with itself.

Puerile bullshit and I live in Australia Well that explains that. It's a very real thing in the U.S. but then again the U.S. has some extreme race issues compared to most countries.

I don't think you're understanding what white privilege means and a big problem is lots of Tumblr types misused it in an attempt to sound smart which in turn makes other people hate the term. It really means that in American society a white person in the same socioeconomic setting as a person of color will have an easier time being represented, finding as job, or avoiding police brutality. It DOES NOT MEAN WHITE PEOPLE HAVE IT EASY. It also doesn't mean white people do not face racism, hardships…

I find the great irony is this sub crusades against radical feminist without seeing that many users here are radical mens rights activist. Meanwhile everyone else that just wants equality gets hurt because both groups give their respective movments a bad name.

He words it like it's a trait inherent to women. Imagine saying "is it just me... or are a considerable amount of black people innately violent?" You people are why MRA gets lumped in with incels and the redpill. No one wants to listen to use when you asshats are hijacking the movement.

I mean no more than there are totalitarian men. Don't let bad apples turn you into a misogynist that thinks of women like that. It's like pointing at a 3rd world country where women are oppressed and saying "this is how men are".

As a minority I see this all the time. My friends and I have dark senses of humor and like to parody the shitty parts of life. The only people that ever complain about it are white girls from the wealthy towns. They never had anything wrong in their life so they have to fight to find something to be a victim of. It reminds me of pre-dirtied pants that rich people buy for like $1,000. Just like how they cosplay as poor people these people are cosplaying as oppressed victims.

I agree with this. This sub would be firmly against a woman taking advantage of a black out drunk man, getting pregnant, and then getting child support from him. Woman can be raped while drunk and it happens quite often.

I feel the law needs to be a lot stricter on what it takes in as evidence. Sure more criminals will walk free but that's a price that's carried with a free society. No innocent man or woman should ever be locked up. While I disagree with him on some things John Oliver did a great segment on how shitty forensic science is and how it gets innocent people locked up. Now that's forensic science alone. Think how shitty using word of mouth to convict is.

tbf there's a ton of extremist on this sub that don't help our image. It's like how the Tumblr type feminist ruin peoples perception of regular feminist.

This sub is half radical redpillers that are the male equivalent of Tumblr feminist, a quarter radical feminist that brigade, and a quarter genuine intelligent people that want both men and women to be treated as equals. You ran into that 50%, don't try to argue intelligently you're just gonna somehow be called sexist for it.

Woman would have been thrown out but due to PR concerns transportation would be provided in some form. Clubs don't care if a drunk male is beaten but they do if a drunk female is attacked.

'patriarchy' nonsense Patriarchy doesn't mean men have it better. At least that's not what it originally meant. Like many gender/sex issues radical feminist and ignorant male rights activist have warped what it really means. Patriarchy is societies tendency to put men in the front to lead and deal with issues and women behind to support the man. However this hits men just as hard if not harder in terms of sexism. Patriarchy is why it's the mans job to defend the woman, to fight the wars, to lift…

This is a huge problem with this sub. Instead of working alongside feminism (not radical feminism) many of the users here turn into the male versions of radical feminist and claim women face little to no problems or that it's a contest and we should only focus on the supposed harder life. It would be like a racial rights activist telling Black Americans to quiet down about their issues because Native Americans have it worse in most categories. Sexism hits both sides hard. Men and Women both face…

This is like a modern version of how people in the 19th and early 20th centuries "studied" how Africans and Native Americans were "scientifically inferior" to Europeans. She's basically a modern version of the kind of people that would talk about how the African wanted to be a servant and his head dimensions proved it.

I was accused of mansplaining when a friend made a post asking about crashing issues with Fallout New Vegas. Some girl said it's unfixable and it's something you have to deal with. I calmly and kindly showed them both how to install NV anti-crash, 4gb new vegas, and stutter remover which makes the game run smooth and while he was fine she flipped her shit saying I was mansplaining and then spammed radical feminist memes at me.

I'd say radical feminism. We gotta remember most of us are on the same side in this and want to end sexism. Feminism is just used because one of the largest and most influential gender equality movements in the U.S. was allowing the female half of the population to vote.
