Maternity leave for colleagues in the GS London office is one year, so it’s not half the win it seems to be.

They’ve been doing this for a while now, selecting men for the meat grinder. I say it’s time to close the trench gap - frontline combat representation needs to be 50/50.

Statutory paid maternity leave in the UK is six months. Most companies, especially the large multinationals, will give an additional six months paid maternity. Statutory paid paternity leave is two weeks, after the baby is born. Same multinationals will give you another couple of weeks, the company I work for is very generous and offers three months paid paternity!

Harold Shipman, with 218 proven victims, is the worst serial killer in the UK. Also known as Dr. Death. There’s something rotten in the NHS.

funny enough, was listening to a podcast today and it talked about how the title of articles that highlight a positive trait for women will be sexed e.g. “Women CEO…” but not the other way around. However, if we’re talking about a negative trait that men have, it will be sexed - like in the article you’ve seen, but not the other way around. Good podcast by the way, here’s a link https://youtu.be/GKJ5wqKjous

ah, the infamous white feather brigades… “ Anecdotes from the time indicate that the campaign was unpopular among soldiers, not least because soldiers who were home on leave could find themselves presented with feathers. One example was Private Ernest Atkins, who was on leave from the Western Front. He was riding a tram when he was presented with a white feather by a girl sitting behind him. He smacked her across the face with his pay book and said, "Certainly I'll take your feather back to the …

of course it’s patriarchy, but you’re looking at it from the wrong side 🤣 They exchanged her for a man. Had it been a woman arms dealer, Putin wouldn’t have bothered 🤣 Moral of the story, there’s always a way to blame the patriarchy!
