Ive never discussed previous sexual experiences (not counting number of partners) with a partner, that seems so odd to me lol. I get asking maybe how many people someone slept with but I couldnt imagine bashing how horrible it was or how great certain things are

Always refer to rules 1 and 2 in online dating

Even though tinder is used as a nsa/casual encounter app. It wasn’t created to be the straight version Grindr. Its pretty obvious the issues that an app that shows other peoples locations arent going to work well in most communities. But it would still turn out like tinder regardless because I still do agree with the point of average dudes aren’t getting nsa easy, and most women wouldn’t feel safe on an app like that.

Yes that was kind of what I was getting at where “men are willing to swipe right more than women” Men typically want sex, then a relationship especially on apps, I know so many people who say “if you just want a hookup, download tinder” so to a lot of people using an app has a preconceived mindset that everyone there is looking for sex so they should be too.

I don’t think many would really disagree with this(omitting the rape part, that obviously trumps everything), especially online it’s really a numbers game. There are just more men on dating apps than women, and the fact that men are willing to swipe right more than women makes the difference larger. Although I have known short/unattractive men who have met their SO’s online, I typically only recommend using apps to others if you are at least somewhat attractive, tallish(5’9 minimum), and can hol…

I think this is more of a question of finding the right partner, if you’re committing to someone and they just no longer put in any effort into you, you should leave them. The problem is people being comfortable in a relationship where you get these dead bedroom situations or lack of effort from your SO. Communicate, if nothing changes, then leave.

A lot of states have that type of alimony payment system, or at least length of marriage(or half of the length)

Yeah, I didnt really know about the 80/20 thing back then, just the two rules of OLD lol. I would say I was pretty successful, at that time I would have included myself in that category(but closer to the 20% as I was in shape, but not shredded or anything) but also decently tall and have an above average face. Not bragging or anything I just get why it could be really hard if youre average across the board

I think it depended on the person but I agree, I had some friends who would only get like one match a week, I got like 10 a day and honestly didnt think it was much but I guess I was doing better than some lol. My friends that were women all still matched with anyone they swiped right on though

Also tinder was still very active 10 years ago, I met a ton of people on tinder 2014-16, and bumble was getting big in 2015 as well and knew plenty of people that were OLD only, so id say you need to go back like 15ish years for it to not be as relevant

I met my now wife about 9 years ago, and I will say before that, I was using apps still 90% for dating, tinder and bumble were still very bit(its where I met my wife) the match disparities were bad like they were now. Some of my friends only got 1 match a week. I thought I was barely getting matches because I would get like 5-10 a day but apparently I didnt have it that bad lol.

When I was younger, I wouldnt necessarily say that I was looking for commitment but I would just say im open to see what happens, even though I pretty much knew what my intention was 98% of the time. Being upfront definitely brings less drama into things but I grew up and learned that through some good and bad ways lol

I personally have never asked myself, typically these are things they told me themselves. Not always exact numbers, but they have made it known they're very experienced. I don't really like the question as I don't see it as an issue, especially since I have had women have a problem with myself having a higher number(not crazy high though).

In my personal experience, there isn't really any correlation between the number of partners a woman has had and how good she is in bed. I'd imagine it is also the same way for men as well. Some of my worst experiences were with women with high counts.

Unfortunately with OLD you have to follow rules 1 and 2. Its a shallow world

Thats more of an obtaining/maintaining a relationship issue with adhd, not just initially pulling women. I would say that part was harder for me. But adderall and therapy did wonders in that aspect.

Yeah, smaller dating pool will definitely not help. Going by you user I assume you are a programmer, if there is nothing holding you back it wouldn't hurt moving to a tech hub city.

It was slightly harder for me when I was a teenager because I've always been introverted. But after high school I joined the Navy and that broke me out of my shell. I still hold the belief that attractiveness gets you the farthest though. I am socially awkward, but I am pretty above average looking (not a Chad, just conventionally attractive) so OLD was successful on my part as I didn't have to go into those social settings to initially pick up women.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
