What I meant by 'watering down' in this context is feminists devaluing the struggles of actual victims of rape. If falsely accusing someone of sexual harassment and calling someone a misogynist for merely critiquing a woman becomes the norm, then fewer people would start valuing their words and turn a blind eye towards their struggles.
