Own Your Shit Weekly - September 13, 2022In 5 weeks, you went to the gym once. Lifting isn’t optional. I understand. I could list my excuses. Maybe I will list some of them in a future OYS, to approach them as problems to be solved. I used to really neglect my body. That I started to walk more and run is a real improvement. I know it is not enough. Also, how’s STFU going? I am making progress. What helped last week was that I had been travelling on business for a few days. Abscence indeed makes the heart fonder. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 14/09/22 08:41 PM

Own Your Shit Weekly - August 30, 2022My goal is to have BMI <= 25 by March 1, 2023, which means weight at most 82.8 kg for me. My current 7-day weight average is 92.8 kg. So I need to lose 10 kg. There are 25 weeks left. I would achieve the goal if I lost 0.4 kg every week, so the weekly goal of -0.5 kg is fine. You made me think about tracking calories. I haven't been doing that. At the moment I want to create a habit of going to the gym at least once a week. I don't consider that a waste of time. Fuck I know I just wasted my time… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 06/09/22 12:41 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - September 06, 2022OYS 4 34, married 10 years, 4yo son 182 cm, 91.6 kg (weight this morning, -1.4 kg vs the prev. week. 7-day weight average: 92.8 kg) I am reading: No more mr nice guy (I'm at 60%) Win conditions from last week - Weight down 0.5 kg - done if I compare my weight today morning and 7 days ago. Hovewer I had rather big fluctuations in weight this week. Max this week was 93.9 kg last wednesday, minimum was today, 91.6 kg. Max - min = 2.3 kg, which seems a lot. From now on I will focus on the moving 7-d… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 06/09/22 12:27 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - August 23, 2022Let's ignore the naval gazing rabbit holes and stfu, lift, drop fat and clean your place. That was very useful advice. Thanks a lot. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 30/08/22 09:02 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - August 30, 2022OYS 3 34, married 10 years, 4yo son 182 cm, 93 kg (no change from the previous week). No true lifts yet, but I went to a gym last week! I am reading: No more mr nice guy. The book is very eye-opening, I am surprised how much useful info it has. Win conditions from last week - Weight down 1 kg - fail, no change in weight. This is in fact a failure of setting reasonable, achievable goals, something I really strugle with. I knew in advance there will be two cheat days (a family reunion; meeting wit… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 30/08/22 07:40 PM

Mission In OYS 1 I wrote Tentatively: to get my life in order. u/sea-tease challenged me to be more specific about my mission. Truth be told, I probably never had a mission that I truly believed in, and that I wanted to commit to for myself. But… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 24/08/22 11:28 AM |
