Style is pretty easy tbh. Check out the older posts on r/malefashionadvice it's trash now but before the reddit blackout where all the mods were removed it had solid info. TL/DR - get basics that fit well, invest in a good pair of shoes and a pair of basic sneakers that aren't trashed, don't wear fucking running shoes unless you're at the gym, once you get a solid core of basics either stick with that, being basic but having stuff that fits well at least makes it look like you're trying, or bran…

I’ve been doing pretty well with it but hit a wall a bit yesterday. Today’s been better at least.

She’s had a sleep study and has REM sleep disorder but I wonder if the other stuff she has with fatigue in general could be lyme.

Interesting about the Lyme. After the holidays I'm going to test her waking up with the kids on the custody schedule we'd have to see if it works for her.

Might also add that her family has fuck you money. So far she hasn’t gone and asked for them to open the warchest but I think filling for primary custody might create that scenario.

Listening to Glover now. The home thing is something I’ve considered also hearing it from others makes it seem more bleak. We did marriage counseling for 18 months so that boat sailed.

It took me about as long as it did to write my post and publish it to realize how bad of an idea it would be.

It’s funny because when it does work for them the best case scenario is being Bill and Hillary Clinton and there’s a level of relationship dysfunction that I don’t think anyone wants there.

In thinking about it I think the kids will have enough continuity if I move out a month or two after finding a job and then we sell in the summer. They'll be able to get used to the split arrangement and my new place until selling later. It's also not like they won't be freaked out about moving in 3 years anyway and this way my 2 year old won't have the same attachments to friends in the neighborhood my 5 y/o does.

I've had a similar experience with being the main person who takes care of stuff in the house and does the cooking plus all the typical guy stuff with maintenance and lawn care. Plus, I get up with the kids in the morning and help them if they wake up at night etc because my wife has a sleep disorder. The goal post moving is super frustrating and the score keeping is out of control. Yeah you aren't wrong that your self-worth is being broken down and the only way to build it back up is by asserti…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
