What possible compromise is there between having a kid and not having a kid? Getting a dog? Adopting a kid? You can't go halfsies on something like this.

Let's just look at the basic premises. I'll stick with cars because they've already been used. Drivers are expected not to run people over or damage property, but at the same time pedestrians and other drivers are told to be aware of possible bad drivers and find ways of behaving that limit the ability of bad drivers to hurt them. On the subject of rape, no preventative measures are suggested at all (Don't tell women not to get drunk/wear certain clothes/whatever else) despite the possible benef…

You seem to be implying that men are the only ones who choose to have sex. What about the woman? Isn't she just as responsible? Why is the man the only one with no options regarding his future after having a baby? What if the guy and his partner were drunk and they both forgot to use birth control? (Remember, men aren't the only ones who can prevent a pregnancy) What happens then? Or if they are using birth control and it happens to fail? Will you hold the father to child support then? To me, this the supreme male rights issue. Women feel pressured to wear revealing outfits and wear too much make up?
