Can we stop conflating feminism with misandry? It doesn't help men at all to attack people advocating for equality!

"I think men are not natural providers at all." - then you shouldn't think men must pay? What is this cognitive dissonance? "Most men don't want to wear condoms and put the burden on women to take birth control." - I'm going to need a source on this, instead of some anecdotal evidence. Myself and my group of friends have always favoured condoms that we bring, because it's just so much safer to avoid unwanted pregnancies, so your lived experience (if any) will just clash against mine. I have not …

Yes! It's so strange to see how the narrative has changed from "men-focused groups attracts misogynists, which is bad", to "men-focused groups are bad". While we advocate for men's issues, I think it's incredibly important to call out the misogynists that lurk here. They can go find their own space on the internet instead of hijacking ours.

"These “natural providers” don’t want to be generous for even one meal" Who mandated that men have to be natural providers in the modern context? This is a fallacious label you have applied. Furthermore, the act of generosity implies something that goes beyond expectations, yet you seem to construe paying as the expected behaviour. "Women often end up being the ones who are generous in relationships, as they take on the biological burden (taking birth control, carrying children, giving birth, br…

This makes me so angry. Why on earth is an organisation purportedly pro-social justice continuing to frame the man's role as a breadwinner, and entrenching sexist notions? From the article, these are two recommendation. I don't see any points that address fatherhood. Help men to step up: support more young men into skilled work and tackle the NEETs crisis Value motherhood: place greater emphasis on the benefits of becoming a parent across public policy

This is disgusting. The judge should be investigated for such remarks against a minor who was raped.

There are legal benefits, but in any situation where divorce laws are gendered, I think the risks outweigh the benefits

Is there some indication of her intention to change the law as such? Went through the article and couldn't find anything.

A prenup is a contract. So is marriage. Romance and love can exist independently of both of these. If you want to get into marriage, you should have an accompanying prenup.

“Respect does not mean retreat. The single, straight man should still lead the dating dance in the courtship phase to a certain extent,” I'm disappointed in this so-called 'Dating Coach'. Why does she see the need to apply and perpetuate sexist gender norms in 2026?
/r/MensRights08/01/26 07:07 AM

Hey yeah, I've seen some men like that. For this group, and specifically this group, if they deem it unacceptable for a woman to not be a virgin, they are hypocrites. There will also be some women who want their partners to be virgin, but also see sex as a need. They are also hypocrites. What I don't view to be hypocrites are either the men/women/other that want a virgin as a partner, and remain a virgin until they are in a committed relationship OR those who need sex and don't mind the sexual h…

"To this point, I make the definitive claim that men are complete hypocrites when it comes to sex." I view it to be fair only if a person values virginity in a partner but does not remain a virgin themselves. Men are not a monolith, nor do all men value the same thing.

What absolute tosh and nonsense - the blatant disrespect is disgusting While these men were maimed or killed to protect their community - oftentimes against their will, these journos spew vile rubbish against them

Read the first 4 words of your comment to yourself in the mirror. Which part of this post opposes the rights of a woman to choose what her body does?

I genuinely applaud your dedication to trying to educate disayle32. He seems like a petulant child covering his ears in his reply to this comment, but I do commend your effort. Regardless of the Snopes article, I think Trump's characterisation of John McCain is unforgivable. Ignoring politics, McCain gave a lot to his country as a veteran and Trump should respect that.

There we go! She's a farce and a grifter. She coaches nothing, her opinions are worth nothing. Keep going strong fellas, don't devalue yourself to listen/be angry at the numerous idiots in this world.

This is nonsense. The people complaining about men asking for equal distribution of burden - either in bills or in chores - are not ones you want to date. Be grateful that the trash sorts itself out

Do you have any text message/paper trail stating that the money is a loan and not a gift? I don't think you can do anything regarding taking the money back from her if it's a gift unfortunately...

Report to the authorities please, even if she's a kid now, having that kind of ideation is trouble for the future. You might be saving a life by reporting this.

Name and shame the school, now that you're out. If they handle it poorly, the most we can do is ensure that parents do not send their sons to these places for them to fall victim. Would be good if you could publish correspondence with the school as well as the CCTV footage.

Sorry, I think this is a case of the paving of good intentions. I'm sure you mean well but 1) the hashtag implicitly implies that a small group of Men are abusers and mysogynists. If we wanted to do hashtags, something like #VeryFewMen might be better. 2) I refuse to prescribe to some notion of what is a "good man" and "chivalry". I'm going to live my life as a human being - I have nothing to prove to the world about why I'm not bad. Innocence is the default state and you shouldn't have to go ou…

Additional Solicitor General using her "40 years of practice" as a way to justify that men don't face rape - wow, where on earth do these people get their legal training?

Well said. In fact, I take issue with the term non-traditional/traditional men when it comes to wearing clothes - any tradition that dictates what a man can or cannot do is rubbish. If there is a "secret society" further restricting my freedom - including what I wear - I will fight against it tooth and nail.
