I didn't read all the comments. But rape is so emotive. And women do suffer more than men. Yes obviously men are raped. But statistically it is rare. Whereas it's statistically far more common for it to happen to a women I'm not condoning their comments (the ones I read). But you were never going to 'win' there.

which clearly indicates that you think you know better. I also didn't say people having rigid views was wrong. Once again you are arguing from within the binary you dispute exists. There being variation within a category is not the same thing as the category not existing. I didn't dispute it exists fully. For 1, it existing in people's minds, means it exists. Stop trying to pick a fight lol. I am just saying - as you put well, there are variations within these categories. So there is no such thi…

OK.i have experiences that proves my point. And I acknowledge the original point of women don't support men, will sometimes be true. But it isn't always true

Most modern relationships are 50/50. Or somewhere near that. And more people than ever are single / unmarried. You don't have to 'provide' for anyone if you don't want

Ye OK. But at least the neq way of thinking allows men to choose

Contributing to society to a household isn't being an obedient little man slave. No one expects men, and only men, to provide everything. And no one forces you to comply. If you don't want to live up to ' society norms' then don't. Example, less and less women are having children and are often pressured. They ignore it

Where are you getting your information on what people think? Also, why do you think you know better than other people? I've ready explained. Personal experience. Science, and the media. I don't think I know better. I didn't say I did That's a binary comparison. True. But statistics don't show the full story. If you assume men are more aggressive and women more agreeable, you'd be wrong 40% of the time. But genitalia is binary with a few outliers. Yes. And as I said. We also have different brains…
/r/MensRights31/03/22 09:08 AM

However, if there is no binary, you cannot divide people into men and women There are obviously physical differences. And our brains are different. But male and female traits isn't really a thing. At least not a rigid as people think. Example.. men and women in aggression (masculine trait) men are only 60% more likely to he aggressive compared to women. That means women are 40% more likely. They differences are that large. The media does not represent most people. Otherwise the vote on Britain l…

Well Men and MRA. Some bad women you come across may not necessarily be feminists. feminists unfortunately did succeed Depends on what you deem successfully. As I said.. there are still women's issues that been to be tackled. And feminism has played an important role historically in getting women rights. There are now 4 defined types of Feminism, different branches. Hard to lump all their opinions together. I try my hardest to not do thr same with men.
/r/MensRights31/03/22 08:34 AM

Everyday life experience. Science. Masculine traits aren't only traits men have. Feminine traits aren't exclusively something women have The media. It celebrates all kind of men. Harry Styles wearing dresses on the red carpet. And also people like The Rock for being ' stereotypically binary male '

You might not do those things. But some men do..
/r/MensRights31/03/22 08:25 AM
1

Ye I understand. These things evolve all the time and people within it don't even agree. You have to take the individual on an individual basis. Women already having an umbrella terms that encompasses most things tend to go towards feminism. Maybe "masculinism" would be a better term than "meninism" though? Either way it would take a long time for it to catch on. Tbf it's not for me to have an opinion really. But Men's Rights as a lable could definitely put people off
/r/MensRights31/03/22 08:23 AM

'Mra' also demonises women. There will always be extremists. But I agree. Hurting the other side doesn't achieve anything
/r/MensRights31/03/22 08:18 AM
1

Haha. Feminism is for the men the same way Men's right is for women. We need to care and fight for each other to reach actual equality of the genders In an ideal world there would just be one header, Egalitarianism and everyone would be on board. But unfortunately there are some men and women that deny the other gender has any issues.
/r/MensRights31/03/22 08:11 AM
1

Somewhat. But not entirely. Child brides for example..there are still some issues feminism needs to tackle
/r/MensRights31/03/22 08:09 AM

People get too hung up on the word feminism. The word is a place holder for women's rights a lot of the time. Maybe men's right should rebrand to meminism
/r/MensRights31/03/22 08:07 AM

No. Their main goal is giving women the same rights as men. But if feeds into Egalitarianism. You need equality before you can reach it.
/r/MensRights31/03/22 08:05 AM

I was specifically talking about that sub and their rules.. Not all feminists are radical

Mens rights isn't about equality then?
/r/MensRights31/03/22 07:49 AM

/r/MensRights31/03/22 06:52 AM

Women supporting women shouldn't be condemned. The issue is ~ more women need yo support more men. And more men need to support more men / and women

I'm not talking about mood shifts through a day?! I'm talking bigger than that. Like if you have major family stress... if you want to keep to yourself the next day at work, you should be allowed to. This is similar to the - men saying to women "smile" when they're see they're not. Controlling yourself is one thing, and I agree, very important (most people can do it). I'm talking about men/or women who get offended just because they can't get a conversation out of someone. Like OP (he was blanke…

What do you mean "we". This isn't a gendered issue at all. He just happens to be a man, right? Or am I wrong? A woman hitting a woman would have had the same reaction. And i would of blamed the one who was violent
/r/MensRights31/03/22 05:55 AM

But, please think about the pain and suffering behind what the guys here are saying the next time you feel they are unfairly generalizing women. That's fair. But do men here consider men may have caused some women pain and give them a free pass? No.

Me and you are very very different hahah. It might depend where you're from I'm the world. Where I live, people are allowed to not be cheery, allowed to not be chatty. I am.not saying being unkind of mean is ok. But if a woman/man wants to put their head down and not engage in conversation, they are fully entitled to do so
/r/MensRights31/03/22 05:52 AM
1

non-consensual touching. sexual harrassment. hitting someone. long lists I wanted examples specifically about being rude or offensive. The other commenter said women can get away with being rude, but everyone keeps talking about crime...Obviously crime is bad and wrong. i feel like trying to move out of the way comes naturally for most. It's not
/r/MensRights31/03/22 05:49 AM

Well obviously self defence is fine 🤦‍♀️ why does everyone here only speak and argue in the most basic level. There's usual inherit assumptions in debate where it's understood some things are normal. For example = crime bad. (Because obviously)
/r/MensRights31/03/22 05:47 AM

I'm refering to islamist, white supremacist and socialist movements here, just to be clear. I was responding to this. I wasn't talking about feminism

We're forced to give women money, time, were suppose to neglect our own emotions so we can better emotionally support the women in our life, we're suppose to work a 12 hour day and come home to do more chores or give our wife attention. If we don't give our wife sex when they want it then we're the bad guy but if we want sex and try to seduce our partner we're still the bad guy. I mean hell I cant even call myself a nice guy without someone misinterpreting it, which I'll admit is the fault of so…

They can be lol its just not ideal. Ideal to who? being masculine is more than who attracted to you Exactly my point. Well wanting sex and companionship and children is kinda a biological urge Well obviously. I just mean jt isn't the most important thing. Constantly chasing sex by changing yourself isn't going to work.

We obviously had very different lived experience. I'd say the opposite was often true (obviously not always)

Are you nice all the time to everyone? You're mood very changes? Ever? I'm not suggesting you're mean.. just you're always extremely pleasant and chatty? You understand that women are humans right?
/r/MensRights30/03/22 11:27 PM

We're literally forced to give women everything and sadly that creates a lot of resent towards women in the male community. What are you forced to give to women? Ye, you're other points and true and valid. But deffo off topic in regard to daily politeness we exchange. I know this is going a little of course but my point still stands. Men can't do anything to women besides be kind or at the very least respectful without being dehumanized and belittled and have someone refer to them what a "real m…
/r/MensRights30/03/22 11:23 PM

Many men deny women human decency too. Men and women can be rude and gross. It's not a gendered issue.
/r/MensRights30/03/22 11:16 PM

We are taught a lot of things. But we can change our views as we get older. In reality, men are obviously not made to give women everything
/r/MensRights30/03/22 11:02 PM

Me? No. I think he was 100% wrong and should be arrested. I am just saying he needs to be accountable for HIS actions, and jada/ his marriage shouldn't be used as a scapegoat
/r/MensRights30/03/22 10:46 PM

Lol obviously they need to be polite to customers. I meant to colleagues. Being nice and agreeable all the time is a big ask for anyone

Honestly I'd say 50/50
/r/MensRights30/03/22 10:40 PM

I was at least. The other commenter said women are allowed to get away with being rude. I asked what the comparator was with men being rude (didn't get an answer) My point was - women don't owe men 'nice'.
/r/MensRights30/03/22 10:39 PM

Self defense, or defense of family. But tbf. We were specifically talking about being offensive verbally.
/r/MensRights30/03/22 10:35 PM

Maybe I'm ignorant. But I never heard a story where a man was vilified for self defence just because it was against a woman. But this still does happen. Heard one recently- A man attacked a woman on the street. Local man stepped in and stopped the attack but then HE got arrested for assault
/r/MensRights30/03/22 10:30 PM
2

Ha no. You make a fair point there I see patterns and double standards here a lot. But yes, generalising is bad
/r/MensRights30/03/22 10:25 PM
1

Ye totally. Can't just blame one party in those situations. But, I'd then argue it wasn't about gender at all. They're systemic problems that go way deeper than that
/r/MensRights30/03/22 10:23 PM

This sub is exhausting. Men = good. Women = bad Everything bad man does = women to blame Everything good women does = men's right taken away So predicable.
/r/MensRights30/03/22 10:16 PM
-7

NotAllWomen I didn't say all women This is not even close to what I meant. If any man attacks a woman, even with a valid reason, his life will be destroyed. That's women get away with being rude, offensive, etc. What valid reason is there to attack a women?
/r/MensRights30/03/22 10:14 PM
-16

I can confirm, as I am a woman. It is true Women are the hosts, the mothers, are told to be kind, be compassionate, nurturing, don't scream or shout. Women naturally move out the way for men when walking in the street. We are taught to be polite incase a man get angry and harms us. It's a lived experience for many many many many women ALSO, men are allowed far more private time, away from family or friends. Women spend more time around people. Maybe just sometimes, they don't want to play nice j…

Because maybe it was just an eyeroll and she wasn't that offended? I'm sure if she was, should would have/could have done something duh.

But you're suggesting he had to do it because of how she reacted. So you are saying he was forced somehow. he choose how to respond And yes. Exactly my point But to claim Jada wasn't involved and didn't push the issue on Will Smith is garbage Their situation may have added to his reaction. BUT, you cannot say she is more guilty than he is. He is ultimately to blame
/r/MensRights30/03/22 09:45 PM
0

I am aware of their relationship. What they show the world at least. I am not ignorant to their situation. But still.. blaming her, is a scapegoat. A woman cannot force a man to get up and slap someone. He has freewill regardless of their particular circumstances
/r/MensRights30/03/22 09:37 PM
-2

Is there any proof she 'sent' wil to slap him? That guy who got shot when he was trying to see his kids? Women love using violence by proxy. I don't know this, so forgive my ignorance. But did this woman somehow encourage the violence here too?
/r/MensRights30/03/22 09:29 PM
4

My point is.. you are making a lot of assumptions about their relationship, and all relationships. I said, there is no hard evidence If you're basing this all of a look she gave... it is still Will who acted violently As good as married is absolutely the same as married.
/r/MensRights30/03/22 09:27 PM
-3

Can I have an example? A source? Anything that backs this up?
/r/MensRights30/03/22 09:22 PM
3

Lol ridiculous. Would you attack someone because you're husband/wife asked you to? And I am as good as married.. but me and my partner do not manipulate each other
/r/MensRights30/03/22 09:20 PM
3

Yeah OK? Maybe she looked at him? So?! That is not her giving the green flag for Will to assault Chris
/r/MensRights30/03/22 09:12 PM
-3

She rolled her eyes.. the mic / camera didn't pick up anything else. Maybe she did say something, I'm just saying there is no hard evidence. I don't think 'that look' means go and slap him We can't always blame women for men's actions lol
/r/MensRights30/03/22 08:47 PM
-22

Women are conditioned where they don't need to be polite. Society gives them a pass What. From birth women are told to be pleasant and kind and caring. And especially polite so thye don't offend someone who may hurt them. I'd say women are forced to be polite and welcoming so often, they don't bother at work because they don't need to be
/r/MensRights30/03/22 08:42 PM
0

Tbf though. There's no actual evidence that suggests Jada condoned it/asked for him to defend her
/r/MensRights30/03/22 08:29 PM

False.
/r/MensRights30/03/22 08:25 PM

Men don't have to do these jobs.. I understand that work is work and there often isn't choice. But poor or dead? I know what I'd choose. Women don't take these jobs because they actively choose lower wages to avoid ill health/death. I don't understand the debate here?
/r/MensRights30/03/22 08:18 PM
1

Lol exactly
/r/MensRights30/03/22 08:16 PM

Yeah.. this is because the majority of terrorists are usually men who feel rejected from society. So it's a logical path for them to look at

Anything boys can do, girls can do better Agree. It's pretty misandristic anything boys can do girls can do better except change a tire, difficult jobs, kill a bug, all sports, fight a war, lose half their shit in a divorce..." But that means this is misogynistic

But that was my original point. I agree with you, their sub rules are a bit odd. But many here claim to be for Egalitarianism, but this sub still will not allow women issues
/r/MensRights30/03/22 07:55 PM

I don't think thays feminism.. consider the nuclear family has broken down. Men have less role models to teach them things. Not women's fault. More women in the workplace etc And toxic masculinity isn't necessarily something that can only be of men. Women can have masculine traits. Also - women are attracted to men with more/or less testosterone depending on their hormone levels throughout the month.. also, testosterone has decreased in men in recent decades. Also not women's fault Even things l…
/r/MensRights30/03/22 07:45 PM
1

So... being unable to do diy?! Since when has that been inherently a masculine trait? And how has feminism stopped men doing that?
/r/MensRights30/03/22 07:42 PM
-2

Feminism says there has to first be equality between the genders before we can focus on Egalitarianism. In lots of instances women are still worse off (men are worse in others)
/r/MensRights30/03/22 07:41 PM
1

But what do you mean by 'men aren't men'? What do men think they should be? What are they being forced to become? What I see is - society doesn't reward aggression anymore. Society, not just women And. Society is more open to people being more fluid within their own genders and there's movement from what was once stereotypical
/r/MensRights30/03/22 07:38 PM
1

I'm just talking about the specific studies I seen. You gotta take into consideration that there are probably more single people now - people not having time to date/more casual relationships (people in relationships have more sex) And people have sex with men all the time. It's now less frequent. You can't blame women for immaculating men to the point they're not attracted. It doesn't make sense. All men have never been 100% manly. Ever
/r/MensRights30/03/22 05:54 PM
2

What do you mean by help? Maybe she just wanted some human compassion and she noticed she was pnly receiving it from the women. It's not about gender. It's about being a good person (However I also don't believe anyone is obliged to help a colleague)
/r/MensRights30/03/22 05:40 PM
1

Why can't we just let men be whoever they want, without comparing them to other men? And not everything should just be about 'how many people are attracted to me'. Just be yourself and the right person will accept you. Men care so much if women find them attractive- I don't get it
/r/MensRights30/03/22 05:29 PM

Imagine if a woman said that about men... you'd all lose your minds
/r/MensRights30/03/22 05:25 PM

You don’t hear people saying “You aren’t a real girl if you don’t apply makeup.” or “You aren’t a real women if you don’t fix you’re hair.” because that’s not true. Erm.. women hear this all the time. People absolutely do say this stuff

There wasn’t an incident in the boys toilets recently either that was provoke this rule if you were wondering. There must have been an incident, or a combo of small ones. It happened in my school, but they locked the girls room. Things quietened after a while and the rule got reserved.
