Divorcing due to attractionThis is a no go for me. My wife and I got married 3 months into knowing each other. And it has had some major downs, many ups, and lots of in betweens. We are 5 and a half years in. We both in the past 5 years gained a LOT of weight. Now we both look amazing and are fit due to lifestyle changes. I mean yes, I was less attracted to her, and I know it was the same toward me but to divorce over that seems super shallow. We stuck it out through some major issues, which is what marriage is. I can't f… | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/09/25 12:10 AM
I m(26) am unhappy with how my wife treats meI just left my wife for a lot of the exact same things. Name calling, disrespect to the highest degree constantly, lack of help with the kids (she stayed home), and a huge lack of appreciation for me or what I contributed to the marriage. Since I left 2 weeks ago, i have had the time of my life. Chores get done on time, my efforts with my kids feel rewarding, im not walking on eggshells, im not taking care of an adult child, etc. The only thing that sucks is worrying about her being upset and al… | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/10/24 06:37 AM
Is it time to file for divorce?Likewise. I see virtually no pros to my wife going to work at this moment but it's not useful having her home. Its a dead end it seems | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/08/24 04:25 AM

Is it time to file for divorce?I think this idea is great and honestly i've mentioned it multiple times but she got pissed when i said she has to pay for childcare with her paychecks if she goes to work because i cant afford anything else. I pay for literally everything right now. And she snapped. Almost like her paychecks shouldn't contribute | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/08/24 10:41 PM
Is it time to file for divorce?Unfortunately a lot of times it feels that way. When she does decide she feels like doing all the chores and cook a meal, it's incredible. Doesnt fix the fighting, but helps lol. But i'd say a lot of times, I think to myself that I would be better off alone | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/08/24 10:04 PM
Is it time to file for divorce?Agreed to number 1. Im doing that as we speak. My son goes to school next year, but another year sounds miserable with how things are if im being honest. Lol. And i appreciate you 🙏 | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/08/24 09:53 PM
Is it time to file for divorce? She has clinical depression and anxiety but she has been the same on and off meds. So i genuinely doubt that it's clinical and that it's more personality traits at this point. She does chores and stuff occasionally. It's more on a "when i feel up to it" basis. And a lot of times the house gets a wreck and then when I'm off ill just do it. But the money is mostly on just food and unnecessary spending while at the store. Not a spending issue, but an irresponsibility issue i think. But yeah overall… | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/08/24 09:46 PM
Is it time to file for divorce?I just have a hard time with "am i blinded with negativity and missing the key things" or is it truly that she's not bringing much... but i appreciate your question. That's honestly one that gets me thinking🙏 | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/08/24 09:44 PM
