I have BPD because my father’s love was conditional on my total obedience and silence. I have no identity beyond “at least I’m not a burden” That shit happens more than you think dude

This right here is the mental trap they’re stuck in. Along with the idea that all women want in a man is money and status - it’s propagated by absolutely terrible men with offputting personalities, meaning that the only women they attract will be those that go for money, because he has literally nothing else to offer. They delude themselves because they can’t comprehend experiences that don’t match theirs.

Yeah. It’s literally a small percentage of men who were already gorgeous to begin with that go on to age well. I don’t think it’s smart to give false hope to a bunch of already angry average/“ugly” men, dangling this carrot of a promised glow up in front of their faces. They’re already resentful, once they age like shit and don’t get their revenge, they’ll become enraged. I think more of us just need to accept age. To accept what we are. We’re all slowly rotting, wasting time on being angry at l…

I wouldn’t talk to anyone I claimed to love like that. Maybe he’s just a total asshole and not necessarily an abuser but I wouldn’t take what you saw at face value tbh. His wives have been trained and I’m suspicious of his methods 👀

Well, I did tell you exactly why it’s relevant. But cool no worries lmao

Are you on the spectrum? No shade I am too, but I’ve noticed that a lot of people who think like this lack the emotional depth to really understand and appreciate love - and they’re usually autistic or have a personality disorder. Love absolutely exists. You can still be cynical and demystified and say “it’s just a chemical reaction to form bonds in communities” but to say it doesn’t exist is way out there. Best of luck in life, I hope you feel so loved one day that this post will make you giggl…

I would say that when women are disadvantaged, they’re pushed into relationships in which they usually won’t have enough freedom to leave, and when men are disadvantaged, they don’t get to sleep with/start a family with the women they want. It doesn’t feel the same.

OP literally touched on this. They said “this will never change, short of women being subjected, again, [to the things you’re complaining about] which will never happen.”

You have to drop the top 10% thing. Most women aren’t bottlenecking the door trying to get at Chad. A lot of women date at their level, a lot of women don’t want to date a whore, and a lot of women, if they can’t find security and respect in a long term relationship, would rather not bother. Edit: my theory for the top 10% thing is that you focus only on the top 10% of women, who of course are only going to be dating their match or a rich guy, who will obviously cheat, so it looks like women are…

I don’t understand how women are unreasonable for complaining that men aren’t upfront about their intentions when you yourself just said further up that being upfront with your intentions “defeats the purpose” of what you’re trying to do, which sounds a lot like deceiving women. Sure do whatever you want but don’t come into these spaces complaining of a male loneliness epidemic when you show no interest in not being a part of the problem. Women do understand these things, and that’s why dating i…

It’s not about who can better withstand true loneliness, it about who can survive and thrive outside of a romantic relationship. Women are better at making/keeping friends and being present in their communities and extended family.

This is such a great post but it’s in the wrong sub, a lot of the ones who take this advice will just use it to manipulate and act the part to rope women in. Don’t forget this is a red pill community first and foremost. Again, great advice. You just need to give it to decent men.

Exactly, it was always bullshit. I live in a retirement town for mid and low income people, absolutely bustling with average couples. My parents included!

There wouldn’t be so many families living in poverty if women placed so much importance on status.

Who the hell is saying an entire generation of women will be just fine without kids? Read carefully where I said “more and more women choose not to.” The conclusion jumping and bad faith in this sub is fucking crazy lol. Thank you for elaborating on your first point though. It was at least a little illuminating.

Because those women wanted children. That doesn’t negate the commenter’s point that more and more women choose not to. I’d also much rather feel a strange “what do I do now?” sentiment in my 40s than have children I regret. r/regretfulparents is a graveyard of human suffering I never want to participate in.

It’s as simple as this, they also discovered that neurotypical people get the “ick” for autistics too. It’s not necessarily manly traits they think you should have, they’re nearly always scanning for ease, presence, how they add to the vibe etc. It just happens to be that classic masculinity embodies it the best. Add women who put that same pressure on themselves to be perfect, like the protector persona, and that’s the science of human icks lol. Edit: imagine if a woman burped in your face and …

Haha. As a daughter, I heard it every day from my dad. “Don’t smile at them.” “Sit carefully if you’re wearing a skirt.” “Scream if they approach you and want to take you somewhere else.” “If you’re lost ask a woman to help you.” “They’ll use any trick to get you into bed - question them often.” “You’re old enough to have a knife, you’re a teenager now. Armpits are surprisingly soft, easy to get to and bleed a lot so get him there - only if you need to. If you think you can run, do it.” “Only ge…

Unattractiveness, insecurity, resentment, loneliness/isolation etc. all affect your mental health significantly. I’d say they’re still correct.
