First Sex Since Divorce (UPDATE)It sounds like mentally you already knew ED would be an issue and most likely when you got into the trenches it affected you. It will wear off with time as you become more confident and comfortable with your partner. However to get there you need a little help from medication to get the things rolling for you. You don’t even need to take a full pill. I have seen even half a pill can be more than enough to do the job. Working out, being physically active, eating right, staying off booze and drugs… | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/10/25 09:05 AM

The hardest part is knowing that nobody cares if I live or dieI was feeling the same thing as you. I am also living alone in a new state so I know what he’s going through. Last week I did 3 things: Started playing a sport that I used to love playing before I got married and out the sport aside. In my case this sport was cricket since I come from South Asia/Indian background. I found some people on Facebook who play regularly on the weekends and went to practice with them. As soon as I picked up the ball and started to practice I had this amazing feeling! E… | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/07/23 01:57 PM
Pending Divorce. Moved Out. Life Is….I’m currently out of the house as well waiting to file after taking care of some other legal things. Other than missing the shit out of my son, it’s pretty nice. I’m just airbnb-Ing for now but being by myself doing things I want, working on things I haven’t fully given attention to while I was home is great. Not to mention starting to get back to gym! Only downside not being able to see my son but hopefully that will change soon as well :) | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/07/23 01:03 PM
Who else has noticed...Happy to read this and happy for you and all others here feeling the same way. I will be starting the divorce process soon and know my STBX won’t make it easy. Hope there’s some light at the end of the tunnel for me like you guys when all this is over. I’m 35 and have a infant son. Just want to be at my best for myself and for him. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/03/23 02:02 PM
A Limp EmbarrassmentAlso I’d like to add if you’re not a active person then to become more active for your own self. Join a gym, workout, lose some weight if you’ve grown an extra tire or two around your gut. It only helps | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/03/23 11:42 AM
A Limp EmbarrassmentI’m no psychiatrist or therapist but seems like you got a mixture of performance anxiety and PTSD. Keep in mind you were married for 20+ years. Assuming you weren’t sleeping around that’s a long fucking time! Also it happens to the best of men especially over 40. Sex itself can be pretty anxiety inducing at times since as a man we, as well as our partners sometimes, expects 10/10 porn level performance every time! When I was young I could go banging for hours in any situation or any location lol… | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/03/23 11:40 AM
Should I get divorce?I’m sorry to hear about the miscarriages. Im not a woman but can understand it would be traumatizing for her and therefore avoiding it all completely now. We men are lucky to not have been chosen (by God or natural design depending on your beliefs) to not carry a child. I’m not sure if you have but try therapy first with for her individually or together as a couple. As others have suggested you can adopt or have a surrogate child as well. Best wishes. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/03/23 05:04 PM
Should I get divorce?Has she stated that she either wants or does not want children? If she has said that she does not want children and you do, then it’s obvious where things stand on this topic. Perhaps she has some trauma about having children given her own experience with divorced parents that she has to unpack and deal with. Maybe she has discussed this with you or she has not because she is afraid of your reaction and therefore decides to flee. Also leaving the house for 2-3 months without minimal contact is v… | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/03/23 01:34 PM
GaslightingLol it’s all these IG wanna be therapists and psychologists lol my wife blows up my IG Dms with clips about narcissism, gaslighting, and how boys become men. FOH! god forbid they are confronted with something they do wrong then their eyes flood and ultimately turn it against you. Smh. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/03/23 12:39 PM
