I was a bit like this until I got around the right people. In my case it was a Business Master Mind which I'm still part of and work with to build my online business, but it could be any group. The point is that when you're around people that are operating on a higher level with you, they end up pulling you up to their level as well. Sounds like you just need a new addiction...a healthy one at that...get into fitness, start an online biz (kinda like I did a few years ago), or start reading and hanging out with friends obsessively. Ideally it's everything in moderation, but if you're gonna get addicted to something then make it something good at least :)

For me it means a relentless drive to be the best version of yourself. Of course you never achieve this, but it's the desire to live to your full potential and then try to get there every day.

One guy below said "girls wait at the finish line", and this is kinda true. They are attracted to who you become by applying self improvement to your life...not actual self improvement itself. Just focus on being the right man and the right girl will turn up...
