It takes some time. Once you have friends who accepts/enjoys your weird self you have a self esteem boost and naturally once you get attracted to someone you will know. It's more non verbal than verbal. So i am trying to break my eye contact while talking. But it's very mechanical right now that I have to remind myself to break the eye contact. Sometimes I feel I am very confident in eye contact but sometimes my eyes drift on to bare skin or any movement.
