Yeah remember when there were photos of women forming circles around the men to protect them from the riot police and it was being held as a sign of 'women empowerment' and shit? Like, no, the police aren't attacking you because they know the consequences for attacking women are much much higher. It's not a display of power it's a display of privilege.
