Yes, I 100% am against the "girl power" movement. We do not need to give women more power. We need to give them more AUTONOMY. Exactly the same as we don't need to give men any more power. There's a patriarchy, and a matriarchy. And they act, interlinked, in different ways on different people. We are harmed by both.

It's absolutely readable as trans. I'm not into Disney but a lot of the same sentiment towards men is also funneled towards trans people. That we're predators, show offs, have inherent issues, whereas the opposite side are the "neutral". If a cis person shoots up a building, it's "psycho shoots up building". If a trans person shoots up a building, it's "transgender psycho shoots up building". I recommend watching that YouTube documentary on how the news is the biggest source of transphobia right…

I don't believe any significant portion of people are pretending to be trans. You've said it yourself, teenage girls are sensitive to mental health epidemics. Which would probably include legitimate dysphoria.

yeah as a bi white guy, none of it is okay. I recently broke up with this girl who made jokes about “being heterophobic” and told me that when she said “the straights” she meant a certain type of person and not simply straight people. For example, eboys don’t count even if they’re straight as StraightTM. Im not saying straights have it any worse or better than gays, just that i shouldn’t be okay to make jokes like that generally

I don't disagree with you, but here's something interesting that mildly ties in with what you're saying. An awful lot of feminists have the mentality of "women have been oppressed for thousands of years so it's ok to be misandric" which really is stupid. They're angry at systems put in place by dead people and the fact that women of the past were oppressed. It's not at all an excuse to be sexist.
