Why don't I just give her the money we were gonna spend on dinner and that hoe can buy herself some groceries.

If you are spending $100 and not getting those things you are getting scammed so hard. I mean, you aren't the only one obviously, but that is seriously a scam. Like those people that convinced others to pay $50 for the food I eat when we forage for food in death valley.

There's sites that can still work.

Yes, so the baby has the same last name as the mother. If the woman is unwed, the baby still usually has her last name.

The rules have probably changed a lot over the years. I just was aware that they still followed something like the practice.

His son would then actually be something like "Odd Karlson." Basically you take the first name of the same sex parent as your surname.

This is kind of how viking names worked. The males would have a surname name marking them as someone's son, and the girls would have a surname marking them as someone's daughter. It's actually where we have the words "son" and "daughter" from. So say a couple, named Snori and Sigrid had a boy and a girl. The boy would then be "Karl Snorison." and the girl would be "Astrid Sigriddottir." I don't know how many places still keep with that tradition, but I think it is still the case in Iceland.

The only time your full name is used is when your mom is angry with you, Can confirm. Also true if one of the other moms is mad at you.

Seriously, I can believe in sorcery, and that a dude with an axe can take on a dragon... But this?

We were watching a movie trailer in the theatre, I think The Huntsman, and the crowd was pretty into it. Axe fights, thematic filming style, a few good lines. Then Kristen Stewart showed up on screen and there was an audible groan fron the entire audience for this thing getting our hopes up. Only other time I heard a groan like that was whenna trailer revealed that Shamalan made the movie.

Maybe it's just me but I see "This movie but with girls" as pandering that misses the whole point.

Damn, meanwhile over here I consider myself lucky if there's a fucking divider between me and the next urinal instead of making us stand out here in the open.

When you deal with thousands of idiots every day getting in your way, making faces at you and treating you personally like some kind of dancing monkey you would love the chance to smash through them too.

Palace guards don't fuck around. There's a few videos I've seen of them shouldering their rifle and sighting it on people's faces until they step out of a restricted zone. Restricted zone literally being the wrong side of a line made of paint in a courtyard.

Can we just all agree that anyone who says they ignore someone based entirely on their sex, race or sexual orientation is a fucking asshole who deserves to be shunned and leave it at that?

I don't need you to mansplain to me about how bad it is. Shut your patriarchal mouth! Stop oppressing me by speaking!

He was a 17 year guy. The end. They didn't have to do anything to him, they didn't have to turn him on, it's simple mechanics. There was touch, the body responded regardless of what he would think. There's nothing he did, there's nothing he could have done to stop it any more than she could have stopped it if he did it to her. It's not his fault.

I like to that a lot but I'm not sure this is one of those cases it applies. That's less for someone voicing skepticism, and more for someone basically trying to make themselves sound smarter than all of us because they didn't fall for it. It's especially great when they make this declaration by ignoring evidence directly in front of them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
