Flirting isn't a crime. Don't crucify your boss just because she was attracted to someone.

I think he/she just listed the "ideal" traits for LTR. Obviously, these are rare to find in their entirety.

Appreciate the exceptional breakdown! Will need an evening to digest this. Is the rundown intentional? Are the school systems and work environments the biggest contributors to this phenomenon, in your opinion? BTW- here is the Wilson Quarterly article I referenced earlier: http://archive.wilsonquarterly.com/essays/japan-shrinks

Would really like to learn more about this, if you have any starting points? I recall an article in the now-defunct WQ in 2011 about Japan's upcoming population problems. Entire villages getting older and vanishing, male preferences for living online vs IRL, etc.

the quickest way to get over one girl is to meet another.

This is a solid FR, but it will really be complete after you see her again today. Girls are hyper-aroused at weddings, so it's not that hard to pick one up at one.

If the opinion of a 21 year old girl means anything to you, you need a lot of help.

Travel for leisure, I agree that women tend to talk about it more than men. However, my numerous flights over the past year suggest the opposite is true, as most of the people on my flight are men.

Smartphones seem to be increasingly more like marketing processors that so happen to have enhanced communication systems (Facetime, WeChat, etc) and other convenient tools (GPS, Venmo, etc). For that reason, they should be treated as such. However, if one truly is disciplined in their personal pursuits, it won't matter what social distractions or entertainment lay in the device.

Unfortunately, I can see a lot of folks reading it, absorbing her judgement about the contributors to this sub, and not giving it a second thought. On the other hand, as others have pointed out, it doesn't really change the facts and practices we discuss here, nor the premises on which they rely.

Love how she adds the bit by Trevor about "Look, a lot of what they say is true unfortunately" at the very end of the article.

Joao took the worst parts of TRP and the writer blew them out of proportion.

I have been with a few women who had relatively high n counts (aged in the 20's, more than 15 guys, which for the Southern US is a big deal), and they were also seeing other guys on the side. Generally, idgaf about what they did when we weren't together. We weren't building a life together, so we were basically Saturday night companions. We met up to share an experience and a fantasy, but that was basically it. In the instances when one of us brought up other men and women, it broke the spell! T…

i don't think this is real. Seems like something an immature friend would post on a hacked account.

Same in China (and likely most Asian countries). Used to live in Beijing. White women were generally not attracted to Asian men (with exceptions), Asian women were very attracted to white men, so the market is very much in our favor up there.

I don't understand why everyone thinks this ended in the best way. Even if you had sex with her, you took a longer than necessary route to pleasure town. If she says "we're not having sex tonight" and it's just you two in a private area (without the presence of a third-party), SHE'S THINKING ABOUT HAVING SEX TONIGHT! Every time a girl has pulled that move on me, we've had sex that night. You have to warm her up, let the arousal take over, and then she'll be clay in your hands.

Truly amazing. Some people see their BP ways as an anchor preventing them from having a healthy sex life, and you used them as a catalyst to safely de-escalate a flaming LTR. A masterful move. This reminds me of the story of how Dave Chappelle once used Prince's likeness without his permission, and then Prince took the image of Chappelle as Prince for his "Breakfast Can Wait" album cover: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/tonight-show-dave-chappelle-explains-711896

Also, just talk to whatever girl you are with about this. Literally every woman I've been with in the past year has told me that they like it rough, and they specifically referenced what "rough" means to them. I do it, they love it, repeat.

What's worth less: money or pride? Paper currency, or the risk of putting yourself out there in a crowd of equals to subject yourself to judgement? In the absence of a negative social stigma about sex work, that "price" (shame, social reprocutions) is diminished in the calculation. If the price is right, of course people would rather pay in paper than in pride for sex.

It could be an out of sight, out of mind situation? My male friends from the area have discussed condom use with me in the past, and they were regular practitioners. The ones who seemed resistant to usage all went to catholic schools in Long Island.

And I trust most people still use condoms. In my experience, women in NYC have insisted on condom usage at a higher rate than those outside NYC.

Good call. Should clarify that by "NYC," I am referring to the relatively small but overly-vocal part of the population that is young, single, glued to their phones, sexually-active, with too much free time on their hands.

Having lived in NYC for many years, I would caution you from taking anything overheard or written from that city as a sign of broader cultural change, especially when it comes to sexual norms.

Ya, that's a good way of summarizing the subreddit. Agreed on the importance of hitting the gym (and I'd extend that to the classroom, since it's basically a gym for your brain).

TRP is not so much for "beta" men, because that does not give credit to its aspirations and aims. The sub and its ideals are about shifting one's sense of value and strength from outside (your gf/wife/SO) to within. This is effort does not end, even for alphas. You have to change with your environment in order to succeed in anything, so the pursuit of it never ends.

Work out four times a week, limit alcohol consumption as much as you can, avoid processed foods/added sugar, get enough sleep, and Aesop products (pricey, but so freakin great). I generally only shower after working out or before important work events, otherwise use cologne to meld with my musk. EDIT: worth noting my skin tends to be on the dry-side, which is why I prefer to shower less than daily. I shower more often in the summer than other seasons (I live in a hot and humid environment).

If you see her bite or play with her lip while talking with or looking at you, you are good to go. That's been as close to a 100% green light as any other, in my experience.

Thinking of getting with women as a "win" or "loss" can distract you from the larger personal growth taking place. Picking up women is a process that is equal parts environment (setting, how you carry yourself, the woman) and process (game). You wouldn't get upset with yourself if you couldn't turn on a TV by playing with the stove, would you? Right, because you employed the wrong process to achieve the desired end. Trust yourself, trust the process, and consider these encounters learning experi…
