Utter nonsense. This is just a deeply ingrained societal pressure to not hit women no matter the circumstance. The same people seem to have no issues hitting weaker men without compunction. There is nothing that makes women special, mate. If they deserve to be hit, they ought to be hit. Just like men, children, and animals.
