Are you a CEO? Because I'd like to plug you from behind.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 02:34 PM

You ever look back at your missed opportunities? I had a female best friend throughout high school. We had feelings for each other, but the timing was never right. I always expected we'd be the best friends who finally gave it a shot and went all the way. One night shortly after graduating she was having a party and drinking. She pretty blatantly said she wanted to have sex and even brought me alone to her room. We had never even kissed or anything. I had lingering feelings for her, but I turned…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 02:31 PM

Yeah I basically said exactly that in my middle paragraph of my original comment. The OP didn’t though—more “be happy without it” and comparing to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 01:36 PM

I think it’s the title throwing off the connotation as a “fix” for dating by what’s ultimately just not doing it and comparing it to modern women. These same women also complain about how men don’t approach anymore. We can’t just all be passive towards it and call it a fix. Hell, I think we’re already there to some extent, which is why many women struggle as much as men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 12:54 PM

I mean, I think all three of us are saying the same thing. I just didn't like OP's argument because it felt more black pill towards dating and "be more like women" sentiment. Women certainly struggle with dating now too, and probably have much longer than men. Hell, their own higher standards and independence are probably evolutionary in response to the fact that men have already been doing this for awhile.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 12:37 PM

This might fix the “loneliness” side if you can truly convince yourself to ignore/overcome those feelings, but I don’t think it’s an option for most people (including women). Hell, men have always done this anyways when they don’t have partners. Many lean into work, travel, and other lifestyles simply because they don’t have a choice. They’re not all NEETs in mom’s basement crying on the internet. Ultimately though, this doesn’t really fix the “dating” part, your suggestion is just going black p…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 12:07 PM

Most have convinced themselves it doesn’t even occur. The “only 2%” argument is hilariously sad because first of all it’s false—the vast majority go unfounded, especially the false ones. As a lawyer, I’ve personally been involved in multiple cases in which there was blatant evidence she lied. We’re talking about uncovered texts discussing strategy, and even flat out confessions to authorities. I have yet to see a prosecutor take charges against anyone for filing the false report. Lots of pushbac…

Not really... he's always kind of been passive when it comes to conflict. Occasionally he'd throw his tantrums and act tough, but it seemed to be for show. Raised by a single mom who spoiled him, if that gives you any indication of what he's like. He did join the National Guard and acts like he's some war hero or something. He works full time for them too, so it actually kind of keeps him out of legal trouble for the most part. I didn't really look him up expecting to see much, to be honest. I w…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/24 06:23 PM

I know it's petty, but I find comfort in watching the downfall of people who have wronged me. This one guy used to be a friend, but we kind of had a falling out. There was some betrayal and we kind of made amends, but he acts cocky and too good for me and others from the old friend group now. Decided to look him up on our state's court database, and he currently has a pending case for domestic assault. I guess it was alcohol related, because part of his bond requirements is wearing an alcohol mo…

Some women aren’t too bad. I like you guys a lot ❤️
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 02:52 AM

As much as I hate this advice, it can work… with several caveats. You brought a good point already—there has to be women or people who know women there. However, I was still able to do it with a very male dominated hobby. I often play golf alone, which usually means they pair me up with random people. If it goes well, we often exchange numbers to play again, which then blossoms into friendships and invites to other events, which expands my network enough to be introduced to women. Hell, one time…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 04:30 PM

Several photos of him have gone viral over the years in relation to his “dad bod” but I honestly never thought any have looked that bad. He’s obviously strong and in shape, maybe has a little extra fat and not as “cut” as some… but I also think these photos were just candid and unflattering angles. The most recent one just seems like it was the shirt fit and material making it look worse than it is. And I say this as someone who hates the Chiefs and American football in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 03:36 AM

Easy, don’t flip. While $100mil would be very nice, it’s too life changing and can even have negative consequences. Not to even mention the risk of receiving $0. $1mil really isn’t that much anymore… you’d still have to keep working, but it could really enhance your life in a perpetual way if you play it right. I’d throw it all in diversified stocks and pull returns as I needed/wanted to upgrade my life. An ETF like VTI averages 10% returns. An extra $100k a year on top of my existing salary sur…

If they somehow last through the rest of her undergrad and law school, they'll inevitably divorce within the first year or two of her being an associate. The workload is a grind, not to mention all the tenured Chads at the firm seeing her as fresh meat.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 12:53 AM

lol probably. I just like the rhythm and nostalgia.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 12:15 AM

lol I heard Let Me Love You by Mario the other day and was really feeling it. Took me back, as I was a young teenager when that type of music was big, and basically the staple to every homecoming and prom. Edit: This one’s unironically amazing too.

/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 06:50 PM

Highly recommend the book Mate by Tucker Max and Geoffrey Miller. I know it’s Tucker Max, but he’s kind of grown up (outside of his alt right views and weird conspiracy theories, but this book doesn’t really talk about those). Basically a realistic dating strategy that looks at both sexes fairly… almost like a neutral RP. A lot of it is obvious stuff, but they expand and put it in context.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 06:46 PM

Yeah that’s why I was hesitant to question if it’s a gender thing. It just seems so arbitrary on how they choose to do investigations and handle crimes. Either little to nothing, or CSI mode.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 02:42 AM

Is pretty/female privilege a thing with police and how they choose to investigate crimes? Fortunately I haven’t been a victim for much or anything too serious… but when I have, the police were worthless. Get robbed? They show up to write a report and you never hear from them again. Another time I was sucker punched at a bar. The police immediately questioned what I did to provoke it. Literally just existing—I guess guy’s girlfriend said something nice about me/my outfit from across the room. Dru…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 02:31 AM

I’m not saying it can’t work, but context is often important and missed. It’s almost as if people aren’t even reading the rest of the comment at times.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 11:40 PM

The funniest and most ignorant thing I see on here is when pick up apart a comment and quote specific lines of a comment, addressing only that part. It’s often so out of context that it defeats the point of actually responding in an intelligent manner. It also shows that the replier is unfairly picking these parts because they can’t argue the rest. It’s especially hilarious when they ask a ‘gotcha’ question on one when you literally answered that same question later in the original comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 11:28 PM

At least it was somewhere, and there were often entertainment like arcades and movie theaters there. What does Gen Z have that compares? The internet?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 10:48 PM

Indifferent. Russia basically did throughout the Cold War era and all the proxy wars. Hell, Iran does it now, and probably China too in unseen ways. The U.S. became a world power under isolationist policies while everyone else was fighting in WW1 and WW2 (US joined very late in both). Keep our tax dollars here and not burn them overseas for conflicts that don’t affect us.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 10:45 PM

Not that I’m a Tate apologist or support him, but he’s just trolling. Top reply on the tweet is pointing this out and him replying to that acknowledging the bait. Dude is a shill for clicks (and has been for a very long time), and it continues to work. Bypassing it with a screenshot and accusing him of middle school “lol no you’re gay!” isn’t helping. Don’t feed the troll, don’t eat the onion.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 02:24 AM

Luckily they’re not racist (her parents are actually different races themselves) or extremist to the point they talk about taking action and other dangerous stuff. It’s just weird “Obama is a Muslim, Michelle is a man” conspiracies.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 03:13 AM

How would you feel/react if your partner’s family were super right wing? I’m talking full blown MAGA, talk politics in normal conversation, and even share all the cringe FB memes. I lean left on most issues, especially social ones. However, I’m also fortunate(?) enough that most mainstream issues don’t really affect me, so I ultimately kind of stay out of politics entirely. However, I served in the military and have one right wing stance related to a hobby/my lifestyle… so my GF’s parents really…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 02:57 AM

So you aren’t rich, your parents are.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 12:37 AM

Surprised we don’t see these kind of comments much here. We all bitch about relationships and the dating game, and thus probably have that in common to avoid the bullshit. I’d say there’s potential if you can get past the stigma of meeting your partner on Reddit. Not much worse than dating apps though…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 12:08 AM

Makes me doubt you. Real rich people don’t really tell people they’re rich. Considering you said “statistically” and making the naive assumption of “all” of us, I’d guess you just recently started making a low six figure salary. Probably very little in retirement/investments.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/24 12:00 AM

Yeah, male here and I’m kind of confused with the other comments. All of these things can possibly be figured out looking at their social media. If he has a crush on you and you’re posting it, is it really that weird to read it and take notice? But yeah, if he was physically watching you or even checking your social pages daily, it’s definitely weird.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 12:52 PM

Again, it depends on the sources, details/evidence, and the guy. I should’ve provided more details, but one of these guys I mentioned also had 2-3 ex’s come forward after the initial one went public. These ex’s were vengeful, known for such drama after the relationship ended, and had no proof whatsoever, so I believed him. Accusations can be abused by others too.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 07:21 PM

Depends how credible the accusations are. Basically who they’re coming from, the details/evidence, and what I know about him as a person. I know two friends who were falsely accused. Both accusers were taken and only came forward when their partner found out. I also witnessed first hand some interactions right before one happened, which definitely suggested strong consent. And most importantly, both guys I trust and know very well. I know SA happens a lot, but in my personal experience, it can b…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 07:16 PM

Depends on what you mean by perception. I usually find it flattering and may “like” them more if they feel that way… unless I find them extremely unattractive, then I might feel grossed out and avoid them. Perception def goes beyond a romantic lens. It’s not really in my mind at all unless something to suggest it may happen, but it also depends on context. I meet attractive people at work all the time, but I’ve never thought about romance or sex with them upon meeting or mundane conversation. Th…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 02:56 PM

Certainly better than daddy issues (or the appearance of them). Daddy girls are often more challenging to pursue, but also tend to be more desirable as partners due to associated traits. It was probably banter/flirting to get a better idea and strike up conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/24 02:40 PM

I can do or figure out most basic to moderate home/auto-repairs to the point she shouldn’t have to say it. If she says it upfront before I even attempt, it’s a little insulting but mostly in a funny way that I would just laugh off and get to work. I’d say a 2-3. If it’s something more advanced, it also depends on the dad. My ex’s dad flipped homes and obviously knows his shit, so I kind of knew my place (I work the most white collar job ever). However, my current GF’s dad is an elementary teache…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 04:48 PM

When I was in the military? I won’t argue that. Hell, I’d say I was lower than a construction worker. Parents couldn’t pay for school, so I enlisted for pretty much that reason alone. Made it a goal to graduate college, and I did so. Do you have a problem with that or something? I don’t get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 02:48 AM

😜
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 11:18 PM

Lol did I bother you enough that you felt the need to do a deep dive on my history? Wasn't supposed to be an insult or starting shit, just an honest assessment. Sorry I was raised poor? Didn't exactly get to choose it, but I did something about it. Free college and later earned a graduate degree, pretty secure with where I'm at lol. Maybe you should get some goals?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 11:09 PM

Lol Wendy's sucks. At least accuse me of working somewhere fast-casual, like Chipotle or Chick-Fil-A.

Lol you sound like every loser I went to high school with that never left our hometown and still lives with their parents pushing 30.

If you count what I owe on my mortgage as negative net worth, the number isn't too substantial, but I'm setting it up to really maximize in the near future. I have about $100k in equity on the house, another $100k in retirement accounts, $20k in other investments, $10k in cash/equivalents. No debt besides the mortgage, plus other assets like a newer car, guitars worth several thousand, and other random stuff. I think it's way more than enough. However, I made a comment the other day on here abou…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/24 11:42 PM

Isn’t Bluepill effectively just anti-Redpill? RP started first. Yes, using the Matrix metaphor of seeing reality or life for what it truly is… or so they claim. The Matrix movie is actually a metaphor itself for Plato’s allegory of the cave, which is the same idea (just not inherently specific to male sexual strategy). BP is basically just rejecting this claim and the RP lifestyle. I call myself Purplepill because I agree with a lot of what RP preaches, but not all of it. My discrepancies have n…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/24 12:38 PM

I’ll never understand people who don’t invest. “What if the market goes down/crashes?” Basically the equivalent of stocks going on sale, so I’ll be buying even more if that happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 12:00 PM

Ok tubby.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 12:32 AM

I guess I admit I was slightly insulted. I was raised poor and busted my ass to get where I am (and continue to do so). I don't even really flaunt my wealth that much, and my car/house are actually well below my current means. To hear someone question it all seems a little dismissive. And also intrusive. Is there even a "right" answer? I could just say no and/or keep it short, but wouldn't someone with a debt problem and flaunting artificial wealth just say the same thing? They're already lying …
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 02:27 PM

I mean yeah, if you're getting knocked up by trailer trash, there might be some consequences. I wouldn't call them "working class" though if they're not actually working.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 02:14 PM

Yes, she knows what I do. I'm also not sure where you're from, but here in the midwest USA, women are never expected to be the primary earner... ESPECIALLY in the working class, which has a lot of right wind conservatives that preach stay-at-home-moms.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 02:09 PM

Woman asked me if I’m “in a lot of debt” on the second date. Is this a red flag? I could see if she was financially savvy and taking early precautions (maybe even had a bad experience in the past), but I didn’t get those vibes at all. She works a low-ish wage job and seems like an impulsive spender based on her clothing and accessories. We had already discussed that I’m a homeowner, and she knows I drive a luxury brand car. Both of which are somewhat rare for our age group (under 30). However, I…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 01:01 PM

Personally, I think the fact women mature faster physically hinders their emotional and psychological maturity. The women you see dating the older men are often very immature, along with the men who choose to date younger women.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/24 11:18 AM

Easy question. It’s because for true Alphas/top 20%, it likely come easy for them due to good genes and sustainable habits. They don’t have to truly understand women because they come naturally, and they may even “get away” with ignorance and some blue pill traits. Say what you want about Henry Cavill being an autistic nerd, but he only takes a beating in the media and comment sections. The reality is that no woman would turn him down given the chance, and would probably actually chase him hard …
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 12:30 PM

lol it’s so funny seeing the weekly post of “Men don’t actually like to be approached. I’m a woman and got rejected once. He lied about having a GF and now I’m mortified from the embarrassment.” Men get rejected 99% of the time. And “I have a BF” is the default response for women, regardless if it’s true, to the point it’s a meme. Most of us have dozens or even hundreds of stories far worse than hers. We don’t enjoy the “chase”, and many of us are checking out entirely. They can’t possibly lack …
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 12:33 PM

Play sports, join the military, work trades, join an MMA gym, etc. Lots of options.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 02:35 AM

Not sure what your price is for that “pussy for sale”, but I’m no longer interested lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 10:54 PM

You should become an engineer! You’re clearly smarter than everyone else. Your use of personal insults over logic and reason in a debate is brilliant and so effective.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 02:16 PM

Just out of curiosity, are you an engineer?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 01:19 PM

lol, not at all. Note the deflection though. No counterpoint, just an immediate attack on emotions. Honestly, both these posts scream insecurity and compensation. You claim to be RP? This is akin to telling people you’re alpha or Chad. If you have to announce that, or the fact you’re smarter than everyone else? Yeah, you’re definitely not. Sorry.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 01:07 PM

The engineers that unironically think/say this are usually autistic. Sure, they probably know far more physics and math than most, but they severely lack in just about everything else. It’s a pretty well known adage that the smarter and more educated people become, the more they realize how little they know. Therefore, anyone saying this truly isn’t that smart. Not to mention it reveals their lack of social intelligence.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 12:48 PM

Same. I’m doing well now and unaffected by inflation and current economic problems, but I struggled when everyone else was doing good. I did something about it though, and no one really helped me. I hate to go all “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” but I think it’s better option than bitching about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 12:33 PM

If my parents ever asked me that, I’d aggressively ask them “Why? Do you wanna fuck me or something?”
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/23 02:22 AM

I went out for drinks with a bunch of my classmates in law school (several years ago), and this topic came up. Apparently this one guy was a frequent customer at them. I always assumed these places were a myth or not at least not super common, but apparently they are real and prevalent. We live in a major U.S. city, and he said there were too many to count. He said the easiest way to tell is going on their website or google page. If the pictures posted were stock photos of generic looking Asian …
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/23 02:10 AM

A major problem is that women are indoctrinated from a young age to have modesty and suppress sexual desires. That makes a lot of them out of touch with their own sexuality. Some don’t even masturbate. So you ultimately have to figure out blindly what gets them off. And that’s assuming they’re comfortable and able to “allow” it to happen. Your advice is decent, but there’s far more to it. I’d say the most important thing is to take it slow. Start with foreplay, keeping it somewhat tame at first …
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 01:16 PM

I don’t know if you ever played a standard, non-links style here that’s common in the U.S., but there’s far more hazards and deep rough just after the tee box. Plus, these courses are far more “proper” and emphasize etiquette more, something she also doesn’t seem to retain or learn anything about. I’d love to just tell her to quit, and I’m pretty much there anyways. That’s back to my main point though that it’s annoying and insulting to put in all that time and her not take it seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 07:45 PM

I mean, we naturally started on the driving range. As a 2 handicap, the driving range is more of a warmup thing for me or tweek occasional problems. Anything more is detrimental to my game. Not to mention it’s just not fun—I’d rather be playing. I think the term you’re looking for is scramble, which we basically do anyways because she can barely hit the ball 20 feet, assuming she makes contact at all. I only dare take her to a short par 3 course for this reason, but it’s still a nightmare. And I…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 07:11 PM

Of course, that’s why I said I’m happy for it at first. It’s the second part that eventually gets annoying—they don’t put in any effort to progress or learn, and basically every time we do do it together, I spend more times reteaching them the same stuff I’ve been repeating to months rather than participating myself. And yes, I do emphasis basic practice routines in between—something I had to learn and do myself. But they don’t ever and forget everything by the time we go out again. It just gets…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 06:26 PM

I guess it just gets to the point that the teaching and beginner phases never end, and I lose enjoyment whenever they participate, which is antithetical to the purpose of a hobby. It just feels insulting to my time, enjoyment, and the hobby itself.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 06:22 PM

The fact that I’ve put in years of hard work into them, and they assume they can just jump right in and only go out practice/participate on our dates. Not to mention taking my time and enjoyment into consideration. I can give examples: Hiking. If you can only go 1-2 miles, it usually means you miss payoff views. Not to mention the drive out there taking more time than the hike itself. I don’t even get a workout at that distance, so it all just feels like a waste of time. Golf. Last two LTR’s I’v…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 05:57 PM

Anybody else think it’s low key insulting and annoying when a romantic partner wants to take up one of your hobbies, but doesn’t put in the effort to be even halfway competent at it? I’m all for quality time together and teaching beginners, but not when you put in no effort to get any better and I’m basically just babysitting you the whole time.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 05:42 PM

We’re not exactly talking about the most rational, forward thinking person here. Dude prob just wanted to get his dick wet, and/or thought he could change her.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/23 05:29 PM

Sounds like a super conservative trad, with added power/superity complex problems. Def not the norm, and these guys should be avoided like the plague.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/23 05:26 PM

Are you sure they’re saying it out of true fact of the matter? My argument is that women saying that could be an inaccurate cope, fallacy, or even defense mechanism. It might not truly be the money, but her bringing the “boss babe” controlling attitude to their personal life, and she just simply attributes it as the same thing. He was clearly fine with the money disparity upfront and the money was already there, so what changed? Realistically speaking, I think that makes more sense than guys say…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/23 05:23 PM

I’m a corporate lawyer and encounter these types of women on a daily basis. First, the whole “guys are uncomfortable dating women who make more money than them” is a made up cope outside of maybe some super conservative trad types. I haven’t met a single man in my life who would have a problem with this, and most would actually embrace it. I have heard a lot of “suga momma” jokes, but the reality is that wealth disparity is rarely that evident. I think what really happens is the woman blames oth…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/23 01:17 PM

I live in the suburbs of a Midwest city. There definitely are women who find it attractive. It’s mostly the “country lifestyle” that they actively seek. Many see it as more masculine than “city folk” and are very vocal about it. The funny part is that the men are basically cosplaying. They live in a cookie cutter neighborhood, but they drive a lifted truck, wear boots/camo regularly (even when not doing anything that requires it), and sometimes even speak with a fake accent.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 12:00 PM

No. I thought the implication would be for a breakup. And that your argument was that a man asking for a paternity test was a comparable “just in case” as the partner being prepared to leave at a moment’s notice. Was it not?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 03:08 AM

Yes, I would have no issue if my partner packed a go bag. I would even encourage it, ie. help her pack the bag.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 03:04 AM

lol this is a really bad argument. I’d help her pack it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 02:59 AM

A BMI calculator and chart will give you a very good idea. It can be misleading if you are muscular and have low body fat %, but only few will fall into that outlier status and those situations should be obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 08:35 PM

And judging passport bro's beer belly and lack of bench won't help him get in shape either, let alone finding a woman in his own country.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 08:14 PM

Is it really shaming though, if we just use medically correct definitions like obese rather than "curvy" and "BBW"? If we're going to shame the dude about being ok with the belly and still finding a woman, we can probably shame the obese woman too. And I guess I take back what I said... "Obese" isn't shaming, it would be more fitting to call them land whales or ham planets. I'm not saying we should... but it's pretty close to the same thing. And being for one and not the other is a double standa…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 08:10 PM

I don't get the obsession with virgins. I've deflowered like 4 girls. They all [understandably] sucked in bed (and not literally), the tightness or whatever wasn't even noticeably better, and they all were stage 5 clingers even after the relationship became obviously irreparable. I wouldn't touch a virgin with a 10 vote pole nowadays.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 08:03 PM

I think it's closer than you think. The appeasing words are certainly misguiding to others, but more importantly--one's self. Another woman replied saying how annoying it is online shopping for hourglass figure because searching "curvy" only brings up tents. And there's a reason I brought up diabetes. It ultimately is the wrong type of reinforcement that has detrimental effects in the long term. Basically normalizing and even encouraging being extremely overweight. The beer belly and lack of ben…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 07:55 PM

I'm ok with shaming him, as long as we also shame the women claiming they're "curvy" or a "BBW"... No, you're morbidly obese and will likely die from diabetes.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 07:42 PM

Have you been successful in your regular career? Very few of those fitness influencers are actually making enough money to live on, and the ones that are probably putting so much into it that it's far less convenient and worthwhile than a regular career. Also, wtf is UMC status?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 07:36 PM

Maybe another woman spotted him driving it home.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 07:26 PM

Never said only women do it. I was just asking their motivation/purpose when they do, and why "safety" is often cited.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 05:25 PM

I'm all for shaming woman double standards, but this kind of feels like a witch hunt. 156lbs at 5'6" isn't that bad. 25 BMI is right on the cusp of overweight and normal. BMI is notorious for not accounting for muscle mass, and apparently she's a frequent gym goer... I don't know enough about women BF% norms to say more on the numbers she provided, but they also may not be accurate anyways if it's just basic data estimation. What do you think Kim Kardashian or any of these "curvy" or "thicc" wom…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 05:16 PM

Yeah, I try to limit my "skills" for ethical and moral reasons. To be honest, it just feels creepy to dig too much into things like that. Granted, I have been "the other guy" unknowingly in the past, so I will screen for that along with criminal convictions IF someone gives me reason to suspect it... but that's about it. I've stopped myself in even more innocuous situations, like looking up old friends just to see if they're still leaving in the region. It still just feels too invasive. I'm righ…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 04:38 PM

That's understandable. I just wonder why so many women claim safety. Are they just unaware of the possibilities, or is it a way to shame the creep that they're scared of him or something?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 04:31 PM

I don’t know what this says about me, but sometimes I get off to erotic/sex stories. I found a subreddit dedicated to it. Most of the content seems fake, and one of the top all time posts had me rolling. It’s the most unrealistic blue pill redditor fantasy ever. It’s from the dudes perspective and about how his “friend” (ie. chick that friend zoned him years ago) accidentally booked an erotic massage for them. It’s starts off clarifying with some white knight bullshit how he’s never expressed hi…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 01:54 AM

This would imply I have friends lol. Nah but seriously, I like this idea. But do I really need plausible deniability? Yeah I guess it might a little weird if it’s truly platonic and it’s just us… but she’s the one who first suggested it. Or I mean fuck it, I’m not against just asking if it’s a date when I bring it up again and ask her. We’re both in our late 20’s, so I’d hope that we could be straightforward about it. She kind of took the initiative first, so I already kind of feel like a pussy.…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 12:58 AM

Female coworker and I were casually talking about cooking today, and I said something like “I like to grill as often as I can, because it feels manly lol” She responded how she wants to learn and followed up with “Maybe you can show me sometime.” Is this an obvious hint to ask her out? Immediately thought so, but it’s also work (professional office setting). And she’s very outgoing/social in general to everyone. Possibly platonic intentions? I’m also not sure how I feel about “shitting where I e…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 12:46 AM

Better than a state school, no? I know there’s a lot of prestigious universities in the immediate area, but compared to the rest of the country it’s seems pretty nice.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 11:41 PM

Oh trust me, I do the same exact thing. I’m actually glad to hear I’m not the only one.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 11:34 PM

Assume you haven’t seen their worst yet. It’s probably actually accurate. You can take it step darker, and assume they’re still sleeping with other people too.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 11:32 PM

I also like the paradox of AOC. Claims to hate the chad, cis, white men patriarchy blah blah pro-latinx and all that… Dating a rich, blond white dude from the prestigious university they both attended.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 11:30 PM

There’s a conspiracy theory that Mk Ultra is what radicalized him. Normally I don’t believe in this type of stuff at all, but the “debunked” claim is sketchier than the theory itself because they basically admit that 90% of the theory is factual.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 11:26 PM

To each their own. You mention "to term", so would abortion be on the table for you? Not arguing or anything, just curious where you're coming from with that and making conversation. Personally, although I'm pro-choice, I don't think I could abort my own child, regardless if I'm carrying it or not. Additionally, I'd like to think I'd only impregnate a woman I could trust... but obviously shit happens with that lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 10:51 PM

Male privilege is not being able to get knocked up. I'm pretty RP and anti-feminist about a lot of shit, but this one I'm willing to sacrifice some equity.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 10:39 PM

Generally, I’d say it’s a good thing. If they were turned off or creeped out by it, you would’ve heard something far more negative. I think they enjoyed it and likely found it attractive. However, context matters, because I also see it as a shit test and we don’t know their intentions. We’re not even sure if they truly believe you were flirtatious (more than just friendliness), and they could be “testing the waters” about your own intentions and feelings. Let paint some scenarios. If they are si…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 12:19 PM

Ah yes, a TV scene of the Kardashian family—quite the bastion of truth and enlightenment. And definitely not scripted. Putting the source aside, how do you explain the young women who seek this sort of relationship? This isn’t a grooming question. As a slightly older guy (young 30s), I’ve had many very young women come after me first, and very upfront about it. Maybe it’s a red flag on them, but your source seems anecdotal at best since it’s no secret women in general seem to prefer older men.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 02:37 AM

Dump her first. It's almost certainly projection, and both times it happened to me, they ended up leaving me for male friends they made. And guess what? I still have never slept with or done anything that wasn't platonic with my best [female] friend that I've had for 15+ years now.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 03:06 PM

My life insurance policy maxes out at $2mil. Throw that in a diversified fund, and you’re probably looking at low six figure returns annually. Hell, even a high yield savings at 4% is $80k.

Should’ve called her a bitch back. Even if she wasn’t serious and saying it playfully to you. “Fuck off, bitch”. It flips the shit test back on her almost. She can either freak out and then she’s in the wrong for starting it (don’t argue in this case—just ignore and deflect). Or she accepts both of you are messing around and it’s flirting, then you escalate. But yes, you failed this test. Go fuck other women. Maybe she’ll notice, and you can ONS her. Or not. Who cares? Sounds like you’re already…

Sorry if I missed your point, but if I was someone who lied about an accusation, the last thing I’d want to do is take a lie detector test. Even if I did know they can produce false positives. From what I understand, they still work a majority of the time. And the only reason they’re inadmissible is that small chance of a false positive. On the other hand, if the accusation was true and justice wasn’t being done, I would absolutely take one. Because they’re inadmissible, even if it did produce a…

Absolutely. I’m not arguing that. I’m just saying that the media isn’t at fault. It’s the laws. And if we want to change things, let’s stop blaming the media and start challenging lawmakers

Often times, this isn’t entirely the media’s fault. In many states (including my own), rape is legally defined as non-consensual penetration of the victim. So assuming it was traditional sex, only men can be charged. Women can only be charged with sexually assault, which of course carries smaller penalties (another huge problem). Ultimately, it’s the laws that are archaic and wrong. It would be nice if the media stepped up and called it as it is. However, they risk libel suits using literal defi…

HB7? Are you kidding? She’s average looking. She doesn’t appeal to my specific interests, so I’d personally give her a 4, but objectively I guess she gets a 5.

I use Twitter. Mostly as a news source. Not just general news, but I also follow accounts related to my hobbies and some comedic accounts. You could argue any form of social media (or social situation) is a platform for things you don’t agree with. Doesn’t mean you have to pay attention to it or follow them.

worried about the social life I met some of my best friends in the military. waste of time Military helped me out in a lot of ways. Other than shaping me into a better person, the benefits helped me tremendously when I got out and it looked amazing on a resume to find a great job.

I was falsely accused of rape not too long ago. Everyone suggested I go after her for my lawyer fees and this sort of thing. However, it’s very difficult because the burden of proof then falls on you to prove that the accusation was false beyond reasonable doubt. You’ll need more than just lack of proof the rape occurred. I even had a little more proof than that, but my lawyers didn’t think it would be quite enough to be a slam dunk or without legal struggle. My suggestion would be ghost her com…

Used to be in the Army. If you want to make a career out of it (20+ years) Army will give you the best opportunities and slots for promotions. However, you’re not always treated the best and leadership is sometimes toxic/worthless. If I could do it again, I’d go Air Force. Lots of transferable skills to civilian sector when you get out, better locations for potential duty stations, and they seem to be treated better. Not that I’m a pussy and can’t deal with getting yelled at or sleeping out in t…

Do you actually work with her, or just met her at work? If it’s the former, then be careful. “Don’t shit where you eat” is an important rule. And even ghosting her could have consequences. I’d just stop orbiting her. It’s alright to be friends. Just don’t be a white knight. And draw the line on doing things for here or any other orbiting tendencies. Honestly, I act pretty BP with all the females at my work. I wouldn’t call it orbiting, I’m just friendly, polite, and keep all conversations profes…

Thank you. The criminal case has been closed. But she also filed an order or protection against me based on the allegations. Not the worst thing, but I really don’t want it on my record, nor do I want to surrender my firearms due to it. Apparently these OPs are the most abused aspect in law. Easy to get with no proof, and lowest burden of proof—pretty much whoever judge believes. If there’s any question, judge sides against defendant for liability reasons. I got the first one dropped based on he…

Currently fighting some false allegations myself. I also served and the accuser is using my military service against me. Said to LE and in her follow-up order of protection “ex-military, emotionally unstable, etc.” It’s all he-said-she-said, until the detective on the case actually went above and beyond, and he found some unbiased evidence that pretty much proved my innocence. Just yesterday, detective finally called my lawyer to tell them the prosecutor is refusing to pursue charges. I may shar…

Interview is not always the best time to bring up salary (unless they bring it up). Especially with an internship, it’s too easy for them to go with someone else who will take the lower pay if there are other candidates. If I were you, I’d wait for the official job offer.

Man that sounds like a self fulfilling prophecy....almost like you're hamster-ing why you're single. Idk... I’m currently in an LTR and I kind of agree with him to an extent. I know friends who were in similar, if not worse, scenarios like the one he painted. On the other hand, yes I have other friends who are in successful marriages. I think you just have to be very careful because it is a huge gamble. As for me? I don’t care if my family tree stops with me. I’m not against kids one day but lik…

I was in a funk like you around your age. I was probably worse. Financially, physically, emotionally, and professionally. It took a final blow to take me to rock bottom. At that point, I knew something drastic had to be done. Similar to you, I was bothered that my parents would be upset if I did something stupid like suicide. So I went with something else... Joined the military. It was grueling at first, but I came to love it before my initial training was even over. My only regret was that I on…

Currently going through this now. In an LTR and we're not "in a relationship" on FB. Though it doesn't say she's single either. My personal opinion is that it's just social media and doesn't matter. I see where you're coming from, and have even thought about it myself, how others may think she's single. However, it's not a big deal to me because she rarely is on FB. And even if she was or it could happen anyways, I remind myself TRP truths. AWALT. She's not mine, it's just my turn.
