I suppose what I was trying to say is that condoms are not a viable long term contraceptive choice because of a high failure rate when you look at how people actually use them. I mean, withdrawal is only slightly worse at 22%. But if I went round telling men that the BEST option for long term contraceptives was the withdrawal method, you'd call me crazy (rightly).
