You've fallen in love, bruh

You don't love her dude u love the toxic-ass cycle of control and manipulation u had with her. This is just dumb teenager shit and she's living in your head rn while she's getting loads of dick. It was a stupid relationship, move on.

There are plenty of examples of men in the community doing things, you just have to look. Sports coaches being a good example. The reality is there are churches and fraternities and other organizations that are dying because younger men are not engaging in their surroundings. Whether it is shit like the Lions Club or neighborhood associations, or church groups or boy scouts. Ever been to something like those? They see anyone under 40 and they're foaming at the mouth for new blood to take over. H…

I'm not even your g/f and I can feel my libido plummeting while reading this. It's been 9 years. She's not that into you.

She's bitchy to everyone but you, but tells a friend to bitch to you? She just sounds like an asshole.

She's been warm and friendly with you 3 times now. It seems like you actually found a young woman who knows how to make eye contact and engage other people. Go look for her, invite her to a coffee break with you. That will impress her more than a weak ass FB friend request.

I got the fuck out as soon as I could. Honestly, I felt like I had two options if I wanted to stay in: 1) Keeping playing the role of golden boy willing to sacrifice himself just so a higher-up can take credit and avoid work, or 2) Become a dirtbag and hide behind a plethora of red-tape that protects shitty soldiers.

You want to improve? Then don't treat improvement as a joke. Don't check off accomplishments before they happen (a shredded body for summer) and don't have others lead your life. Figure it out.
/r/askTRP26/12/19 06:53 PM
2

You're asking us how to be interesting. If you can't figure that out yourself, that's on you. And worse yet, you're attempting to convince us you're not doing it for women when you literally ask what's more valuable in the eyes of women. Your mindset is weak as shit.

I think you're right, it's a fine line. And for me anyways, as I've aged I've gotten better at not investing in people who don't ask about me or my interests. You have to put yourself out there enough to show who you are, but not overextend yourself to the point where you're the one always initiating or being the giver. Once you determine the balance of give/take you can figure out what level of relationship is possible. Some people will end up your best buddies b/c the give/take is balanced and…

Be very careful overreacting when a woman shows signs she has a life outside of you, because it's a good thing they have other interests and friends. I don't see any signs of her gaming you. She was upfront with Wed OR Thurs and is telling you exactly why she can't make it on Wed. If she didn't give a shit she wouldn't have been so mature about all the logistics.

I've always channeled a lot of anger into exercise, whether it's lifting, boxing, or running. But I definitely don't prescribe to this mushy "turn the other cheek" or "avoid confrontation at all costs" mentality that's been fostered here. Controlled anger, used sparingly, directed where it should be, can be effective. But the out-of-control rage you suggest, yeah, lifting the fuck out of some weights, or banging the fiance extra rough.

I'm in a relationship and building a family because I want to. Your lifestyle and opinions will evolve over time, hopefully, because otherwise you're not learning anything new. If you still feel that way at 30 and beyond, have at it.

So you work a job, exercise, and consume media. People who do boring things are boring. If YOU cannot fill YOUR time with things that excite you, it's your own damn fault. What do you like to do? What are you passionate about? No one can tell you what your hobbies are or what you should be interested in.

You need to get your finances in order before moving across the world. Do you know what the conversion rate is between the two currencies? How much do you have saved up? Oh, this is the shit office gossipers live for. You apologized to the person you shouted at, which is the most important thing. Something along the lines of, "I lost my cool with Janice because xyz but she didn't deserve that response so I apologized to her and she seemed to accept it...." I re-watched some of The Office and realized how much I hate Jim. He's a smug asshole who ridicules everyone around him and thinks he's above them. Ah, you're seeing the other side of the curtain. If you're getting exposure with the bosses and opportunities to delegate, you're being groomed for higher levels of responsibility. If you're just being told to do additional menial tasks and not given any credit or opportunity to lead others, then your boss has pegged you as someone who will just take it while others may push back. I'm more old school, I don't think apps have any place in meditation. I recommend any books by Alan Watts or D.T. I wouldn't call 4 months a LTR. You need to be careful, it reads like you're not really making any dates. If you don't live together and you're only 4 months in, she could be going out with her friends because the alternative is bumming around with you. She wants to have fun. Now if you plan a date well in advance and invite her, and then she says something like "Let me see what the girls are doing first" then you may as well find a new g/f b/c then you're clearly the back-up plan.

I don't think there's much given the power imbalance. I hate the overuse of the word "triggered." It conveys a trivial scenario where passion, (mainly anger) is weak and misguided. Controlled and properly focused anger is absolutely necessary sometimes and it seems you used it appropriately. When it comes to "yelling at me in front of other people," I hope you didn't essentially take her apology too soon, she may think all she has to do is turn-on her sexuality and then you'll forget. I've read thru this several times. It doesn't appear there's any flirting going on from either of you. She's reading your cues and they're neutral. I think the opportunity passed you by unfortunately. If your "battleplan" consists of either "getting her more wasted" or pursuing other girls, why not just pursue other girls? I think you're zeroed in on this girl for no good reason, there are probably other girls around sending you signals you're not even catching.
/r/askTRP30/08/18 06:07 PM

I don't believe that. I think you're conditioned to notice in a particular way and now after a year of improvement you're missing signs. You're at a new level now, the game changed.

Books that have stuck with me over the years: Anything by Thoreau, specifically Walden. Anything related to Maj. Dick Winters For Whom The Bell Tolls The Prince Meditations by Marcus Aurelius Anything by Alan Watts and when in doubt, I go with autobiographies. Personally I didn't like "How to win friends..," to me it read like "cater to others so they like you" and that message didn't resonate with me.

I haven't followed the Trevor Noah situation too closely, mainly because I've always thought he's...kind of a bitch, so I've never been a fan. What I do know is when you make a career of saying bitchy things to get attention and make money, eventually it'll bite you in the ass. Sometimes it could be because I'm being a dumbass and someone older and more experienced is correcting me. In those situations, be humble. I don't think there's anything wrong with explaining your style when in a position where others report to you. When I was younger, I flipped men's road bicycles. Buy for $40, sell for $100, repeat. It was incredibly easy and fun and made for some quick spending cash. Absolutely. Respecting your time is non-negotiable, and that goes for anyone, anywhere. Not just your girl. I'll caveat this by adding there is a difference between someone occasionally being late who keeps you updated they will be late, versus someone who agrees to meet at "6" then casually strolls in at 7:30 with zero fucks and makes a habit of doing so.

Not everyone takes their phone seriously. Consider it a blessing. Pre-2000, this incessant texting/snapchatting/twittering wasn't even a thing. Suggesting someone is a "social retard" based on the indication she keeps her phone at arm's length...is retarded.

It's not incestual (necessarily), I think it's more about the paternal vibe you're putting off in your dynamic with her. Roll with it and see where you go. Be careful labeling her your LTR after dating her for two weeks. You don't know the depth of her kink.

Yes, it is. I'm surprised at the number of pacifists here with seemingly endless variations of, "No way man you might get in trouble" cop-out to avoid fighting when a fight is brought to you. Sometimes you have to pop someone in the mouth when they're not getting the hint. It's how the world works.

I always figured a car key to the eye-socket if it really came down to me or him. Nothing wrong with carrying, personally I respect carrying something like a small nightstick over a gun. Hard for that to malfunction and you don't have to worry about negligent discharges and where the bullet may end up. Obviously be careful exposing it, you may just escalate the situation to find out you brought a nightstick to a gun fight.

I think there's a lot of information in scent and taste that modern society doesn't value like it should, so I think going natural can send signals and you can expect a response from those signals. Historical cherry-picking, really. The eugenics movement had traction in several western countries by the early 1900s. Hell, my own state (USA) sanctioned sterilizing people within the past 100 years. Hmm, if that community at-large thinks that "insulates" or protects a person from "getting hurt," they're mistaken. People have always enjoyed tearing down others. The fact you're here and needing to ask these questions about what's appropriate behavior for her and what you're supposed to do shows that you're in no way up for this. She doesn't respect you, these dudes don't respect you. It's not even worth an argument it's so out of hand. Just move on, it's not worth your time.

Assume it doesn't work out with her. Would you still want to live there? No? Then don't go. Yes? Then go for it, it'd be an adventure. Personally I like taking big risks but you have to have your mind right when you take them.

Normal is a perspective, to an extent. One could make the argument that getting your rocks off 3-4 times daily isn't normal, or healthy. You've exhausted your dick. Find something else to do behinds sex, it'd be good for you and it'd give your nuts a rest.

Jesus, did you really think 3-4 times a day is sustainable? You're 19, there's one thing on your primitive ape teenage mind right now and that's to spray your seed into a fertile womb as often as possible so your genes live on and you achieve immortality. You think it's a problem because the goalposts have moved in the 21st century. Everybody's fucking, sexting, and has access to hardcore pornography 24/7. Are you still having sex 1-2 times a day? If so, shut the fuck up and enjoy it and get bac…

You mention a blood disorder below. I think all other speculation stops until you have that figured out and effectively managed.

Maybe OP's situation is the motivation for George Mallory. "Why did you want to climb Mount Everest?" "Because it's there."

I think you've completely missed the intent of this redpill subculture.

I think you should join the military because you WANT to join the military. Don't do it from a "I don't know what else to do" stance, otherwise after basic training, you may find yourself wondering what the fuck you were thinking and you can't just give two weeks notice and leave.

For the most part, I just blast through it. Sometimes I actively ignore those who speak up just to explain how something can't happen. They lose standing in my eyes and their opinion matters less to me, and I don't care if I make that obvious to the group. Engaging too much with negativity puts you on the defensive and that isn't somewhere you want to be. Always be the one to bring a solution to the table rather than an excuse. Just model that the best you can, you can't ultimately change others…

In my experience groups of women have little in common with the masculine-man-who-has-his-shit-together-and-doesn't-cater-to-them. They're threatened and they sense you won't be pushed around. I think you should take the lead more. They'll still talk shit, because they know you're untouchable, but that's the nature of leadership. People try to tear you down. Keep yourself composed and soon enough you'll be the paternal figure in the group they all look up to.

Career: I build a solid reputation over several years doing investigative work for the state. During this period, I also joined the military reserves. After some years went by, I found myself getting comfortable in my position doing investigations and wanted to increase my influence by transferring straight into a larger county that was well-known as being a dumpster fire. I wanted quality work and wanted to help others get to my level and pass on my knowledge. Long story short, one person has a…

Ponder on the differences in culture for a young man growing up in 1950 versus today. Even throwing around the word "autistic" casually is a recent phenomenon. Maybe you'd like to add to the conversation by asserting an opinion on OP's question.

You sound like my grandma who still thinks all black guys are going to steal her lawn furniture based on that one incident in 1982.

You've acted like an ass for an extended period of time. There's no reason she shouldn't expect that pattern to continue. She needs to dump you as soon as possible. Also I think if you're honest with yourself, you'd be better off as well. It's one thing to have that drama in the rear-view mirror, but another incident occurred just a couple days ago.

It's technology. I think that's pretty obvious, actually. Anxiety and silly parenting have been around forever. What has changed is our culture, which is now starting to dabble in augmented reality.

No, I haven't had an experience like this, because I don't have a drug dependency and don't death grip my cock. Come on, man. Knock off the pot. A woman should never have to try that hard to get you hard.

Nothing. She asked what else you wanted and you told her. But don't negotiate sexual contact. Next time, when she cooks for you, shows it off to you, and brings you some, bang her. By the time she brings it over, she's practically begging for it.

Haha. Nah, I'm not interested in that either. If quality masculine advice has degraded into folks recommending to zero on dudes' butts and bulges, I have definitely been away from here too long.
