The challenge is men getting together without it being toxic. That requires male leadership that understands healthy communication and dynamics. Men other men look up to. “Whose sexist policy” is right. Sounds like internalized sexism. I promise that women don’t give a good goddamn if men support each other (just as women did) and independently of the opposite sex, created a masculine version of Galentine’s (as women did). I loved this episode, and the nuances discussed on what a matriarchy would look like. Less violent, but certainly not free of toxicity. I think it would take several generations to socialize and breed that out….which would require social control….which causes conflict….it’s a tough one.
