That's exactly what I was gonna say; she's clearly saying that purely to maximize his pain. On the flip side, at least it serves as proof that the divorce is the second-best thing to have happened (with the first being the hypothetical of never marrying such a jerk).

This is a totally different scenario, though; they're talking about the spouse (like OP) wanting to talk to you. Yours, sadly, didn't...

Well, at least it helped, then. Could trying polyamory be better than divorce? What if you mentioned that?

Well, that's disgusting. Please keep me out of this "you" pronoun as I don't frequent this place and would downvote content like that just as much.

"These losers" is a pretty nasty phrase to say. Divorce is not everyone's fault.

Two weeks ago one of her secret guy friends made himself known to me (shoved me in a public place after stalking me twice that week). That is so vile and infuriating, but I wonder if it'd be better for your legal case to not retaliate. Anyway, why they would bother to stalk if they already know she's divorcing is beyond me. It's idiotic for him to reveal himself unnecessarily... Either way, your situation is way more complex than mine was. I certainly hope things work out in your favor.

If it weren't for my last 2 dating encounters What had happened?

unless God Himself tells me to get married to someone, I’m not doing it. What had happened the first time? And what would be this sort of sign? a purpose driven life Rick Warren has some considerable problems with watering down the faith FYI (even though some of his stuff is good).

Yep, there is no such perfection. I would've been part of that penultimate group, myself. The more important thing is whether they're interested in self-development (and show signs of internal motivation for it, beyond words).

Have you seen a counselor over any of this, ideally together? I'm so sorry about your chronic struggles come up by the way. I know multiple people with your condition and it's just a nightmare to me, personally.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
